We loved our one-week vacation in Niantic recently. The house is spacious and the first floor is great for entertaining. The owners answered all of my questions in a timely manner before deciding to rent and then after we made the commitment. The picky person might have problems with this place, but most complaints would be cosmetic: blinds and window treatments missing from some windows; immaculate, clean house, but dirty windows; leak in dining room on our last day after rain. The house could use some maintenance, but it didn't stop us from having a great time. The house was too big for our needs, and the price was non-negotiable. The cottage is located 2 blocks from the beach - about a 3-minute walk in a quiet area. With some minor renovations, I would rent this house again, but split the cost with another family. The time flew so quickly and it would have been dreamy to rent this for 2 weeks. It was very spacious for 6 people. I gave it a "good" rating, but it could easily jump into excellent with a little "TLC."
Recommended for:Sightseeing, families with young children, families with teenagers, pet owners, girls getaway, adventure seekers.
