Just returned from mini weekend at Lake Gogebic and still talking about what a great time we had. The owners were very nice and accomodating. Our 3 boys loved being on the lake and jumping off the pier. The campfire smores were a hit! We rented a boat and fished and swam on the lake all day. The place was comfortable and clean. It's very rustic so if your expecting the Ritz it's not for you. It was so close to Porcupine Mountains where the hiking was amazing. We loved every part of our trip including the house itself. Our kids had a lot of freedom! One thing I'd suggest is a 2nd air conditioner in the back part of the hose. It did get a bit warm in the back bedrooms.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, families with teenagers.
