This was our family's first Spring Break vacation with the kids and grandkids, ages 4, 5 & 6. Ruidos has lots to offer the little ones including snow tubing, bumper cars & go karts and White Sands nearby. The condo was perfect offering plenty of space on different floors for the adults to visit quietly while the kids played in other areas. We cooked breakfast in the condo every morning and kitchen was equipped with everything needed. From the balcony the mountain view was condo was beautiful but be sure to go out after dark and gaze at the stars - amazing!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

My wife, sister, brother in-law and 5 kids stayed here after Christmas till January 2nd. Drove up from Austin. Everyone loved the layout, decor and location. Condo was fresh and clean upon our arrival. The condo is nicer than the pictures portray. Balcony has awesome view of the town and mountain. Furnishings and decorations where perfect for our winter cabin trip. Many places we have stayed have cheap worn out furniture and generic decorations with lots of personal clutter and junk all about. That wasnt the case here! Bathrooms are all updated and clean which is a major plus for the women. Plenty of pots and pans, washer/dryer, and never ran out of hot water. The basement is lots of fun with a good fire going. Owner Mike or his associates responded promptly to all inquiries. WiFi was faster than I get at my own home and we had multiple laptops, ipads and phones. Internet was convenient because we booked a nights stay online in Santa Fe to see old friends and find better ski conditions. Easy scenic drive about 3 hrs north. Ski Apache did not have enough snow yet and I think is still cleaning up from the fire and only had 3 lifts open. Condo is easy walk down to town, but a little tougher carrying items back up on icy roads. About our 5th day there we got snowed in in the complex since we didnt bring tire chains. The complex driveways are steep, narrow and windy so plan accordingly. They didnt plow or salt while we were there. Just up the hill from the office is an old tower of some sort. On the other side you can view the town, explore and "climb" down. Signs say it is National Forest so I think that means its open to explore. This was a fun adventure in the snow. Casino is maybe a 10 min drive away depending on traffic. I actually stayed in this unit about 10 yrs ago and it was just as I remembered. FUN! The town seems to have developed quite a bit for the better since my last time there. I have been to Ruidoso and Ski Apache several times. Security deposit was promplty returned. The only thing that could of been better was if the Mountain Gods had brought the snow a week earlier.Recommended for: Pet owners, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

Our family of 10 stayed here over the Thanksgiving holidays, it was absolutely perfect. It had something for everyone, and enough space for everyone to do it in. The place is even more beautiful than the photos show - lovely southwest décor, thoughtfully appointed. The views were gorgeous, day and night. The young adults in our family all loved the lower level, with its own entrance and huge space. We had a hard time talking them into leaving that level to join the older adults upstairs! The kitchen had everything we needed (and more) to cook a big meal for Thanksgiving dinner. Everyone complimented the organizer (me!) on finding such a great place for the group from Austin, Houston and Albuquerque to enjoy each other's company in. The owner was easy to work with and very responsive, as was the condo manager. We all look forward to a return visit one day soon. Catherine/AlbuquerqueDid you find this review helpful? Our family enjoyed our stay at this beautiful condo! Our grandkids loved the pool table and watching the Olympics on the flat screen TV. The condo was accurately described in the photos and it was very clean when we arrived. It was great to be in the cool pines where you could watch the deer. It is very close to downtown Ruidoso and also close to trails for bike riding. We would definitely recommend this listing to our friends and we plan to stay there again.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.
Owner response: So glad to hear that people enjoy our mountain home. We take pride in our condo and make sure it is extremely clean for your enjoyment. Thanks so much.

I am a sales rep for a large company and took a customer outing to Ruidoso. The condo was absolutly perfect for this trip. There were plenty of beds and TVs for all. The view was outstanding. It was a little hot with no A/C but cooled off at night. I would definately stay again and currently looking into a family vacation soon as well.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

About the owner: Hi, My name is Mike and I am in the insurance and real estate business in the Dallas Fort Worth area. I'm an avid golfer and first went to Ruidoso for this reason many years ago. I personally stay at my condo several weeks per year and keep it updated, fresh and clean. You will enjoy the comforts of home in my condo and be glad you choose to rent it. :) Enjoy Ruidoso and all it's beautiful treasures !
Why the Owner Chose Ruidoso:
I chose to purchase property in Ruidiso after my first visit many years ago because I enjoyed the area so much. I love to golf, and just be outdoors, I enjoy the layed back people and found the weather to be great year round.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
I love hiking and taking long walks from my condo. There are a lot of areas to walk and take in the fresh mountain air. The view from my balcony is spectacular. I can view the mountains as well as the main street of downtown Ruidoso.
