The House at Log Cabins is situated with ocean and sunset views, caressed by tradewinds, and framed by swaying palm trees. Its large, partially shaded deck is ideal for outdoor dining, checking the surf or watching humpback whales breach. Down the steps from the 40 foot lawn out front are miles and miles of white sand beach and the Pacific Ocean as your playground.
Perfect for three couples, a family (possibly two), or a group of close friends, 'Log Cabins' is a comfortable and peaceful retreat that sleeps up to ten. It’s a fantastic spot for the outdoor enthusiast, or the leisure buff. Your level of activity is up to you.
Living at Log Cabins is simple, yet luxurious. Two bedrooms have queen-size beds; a third bedroom has two twins that can be made into a queen; and another room has a pull-out double couch. The latter is great for sleeping kids or anyone who doesn't require a closed door. All bedrooms have sizeable closets, and there are three full baths.
The kitchen was designed to be functional, open and spacious with a large island and top-of-the-line appliances. It is often a focal point of activity, and was therefore designed to be easy to clean and maintain a great feature if you plan on eating in a lot (hint: you won’t want to leave the property).

We spent a week in February 2012 this amazing home. From the moment we opened the door it simply took our breath way! Stunning home on a pristine beach in an fantastic location. Unbelievably perfect Hawaiian vacation. Can not wait to walk through those doors again next year!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, sightseeing, tourists without a car.

My wife and I stayed here in July 2011 for a week with our teenage daughter and my wife's brother and his wife. The house was perfect for two families or even 3 couples. The location on the north shore is about as good as it gets. The beach is 40 feet out the back door and there were usually some good surf nearby even in the dead of summer. The house is nicer than the pictures show and we loved the open windows all week as the trade winds are pretty constant. The back patio and yard are like a little bit of heaven and we logged some serious relaxing time there. The bike path is a few feet in front of the house and very convenient. Haleiwa was within 5-10 minutes and it is our new favorite town on Oahu. Lots of small shops and some great restaurants without the traffic and crowds of Waikiki. Turtle Bay is within 10 minutes north and we saw a huge fireworks display there on the 4th. Shrimp trucks are all around the area. We drove into Waikiki a couple of times and also went on a snorkel cruise out of Ko Olina and both were around 45 minutes on the main roads. Also went to the east side beaches around Kailua Beach one day as well as Hanauma Bay and even that wasn't much more than about an hour from the house. Everyone had a great time and we could easily go back to this home again as it was such an enjoyable experience.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, sightseeing.
