We visited for two nights in late December. Our only disappointment was to have to leave way too soon. The home was well furnished with everything we needed for two parents and four adult children. The home was even larger than expected with ample room for wonderful conversation and game time. We especially enjoyed the separate TV and comfortable couches upstairs. This was a nice surprise that provided a nice get away space. Also, several baths were enjoyed in the oversized tub upstairs. We also loved the large gas range and the large open kitchen area. Travis was also very easy to work.

Very well equipped house with a warm atmosphere thanks to the fireplace. We cooked very good Christmas meals and had enough space for 6 people to relax and enjoy the Christmas holliday. We were not really lucky with the weather though, and only had a short glimpse of Mount Baker one evening. We were not planning to do any ski anyway...

We just got back from three nights at this house (three couples) and it was just what we needed! Beautiful home, SO clean and relaxing with all the amenities you might want. Easy laid back time there for lots of conversation, games, exploring, fishing and of course great food! We tried local restaurants, bakeries and had great experiences. We'll go back when we can for sure. Thanks!!

We had wonderful time in this house and great late skiing experience. Area near this place very scenic and there is always things to do (great ski experience, hiking, climbing, chilling out near alpine lake). House itself brand new and very inviting, easily can accommodate 6+ people and heated floors in all bathrooms won my heart:) Travis (owner of this house) were very helpful and quick in all responses.
Owner response:Thanks Natalia - It was great having you stay with us and I look forward to you having a chance to say at the house this summer as well!

This is the second year we rented this house. It is beautiful, new and clean. It is just as comfortable as being in my own home. It is super close to Baker and we took the kids to sled and they loved it. Before we went this time they were very excited to visit this house again cause they love all the room to play and DVD player to watch their movies :-) I highly recommend everyone to visit.

My family had a great three night stay here recently. The home is well equiped, tasetfully decorated and very clean. It is convenient to the town of Glacier and Baker Ski Area. The owner was responsive and set up the rental in a timely and efficient fashion. I recommend this rental.

I stayed here for almost 2 weeks in October visiting my son who had recently relocated to the area. The lodge was as beautiful as advertised and better than I expected. I was not there during ski season although we did some hiking on Mr. Baker. There are a few places that are no more than 2 miles closer but it would be hard to beat this location. The Nooksack River is directly across the road although more accessible from a little higher on the Mountain. The home is also located in a "subdivision--not gated" generally made up of similar high quality homes. This is not always the case in this area, where nice homes seem to sometimes have junk yards for neighbors. The owners were a pleasure to deal with! Paul...Madison, NJ
Owner response:Thanks so much for your great review Paul and I'm so happy you enjoyed our home! Mt. Baker is getting tons of snow right now so if you make it out again in the next few months, let me know if you'd like to stay at the cabin again. --Travis

A beautiful new custom house, very clean and comfortable, with everything we needed as a base for hiking in the magnificent North Cascade National Park. When the weather turned cold and rainy we turned on the propane-fired wood stove, played Scrabble and watched the clouds through the high windows. We cooked for ourselves two nights--there's a well-equipped kitchen--and had two very good dinners at a nearby restaurant. [The restaurant looks pretty funky, but everything we tried was excellent.]

Our family of four had plenty of room! The light in the great room was perfect for after-skiing board games with the kids and the wind down glass of wine watching the sunset before dinner! Snow at Mt Baker was most awesome and the closenes to the mountain is very good. And, how can you beat a new house with plenty of whistles! Great Experience for us with Vrbo again!!

A group of us stayed for a ski weekend in February, and we had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house! We were impressed by the cleanliness, and the general high quality of the house. Comfortable beds too! The owners were extremely helpful, and even welcomed us to the house with a bottle of wine. We hope to stay again sometime soon, and I would definitely recommend this place to others!!

Just returned from a weekend ski trip staying at the house in Glacier and I have to say that it exceeded our expectations. The house is spacious for it's size, and the finishing touches are excellent. Will definitely be staying again.

Staying in the Glacier House recently for a small family get-a-way was great! The house is set up for comfort and we "took it in". There are even board games available which we enjoyed. There is beautiful hiking with gorgeous views and surroundings right there in your front and back yard. The house is unbelievably close to the slopes and we took advantage of that one day for a wonderful time of snowboarding and skiing. It even snowed when we were there which was icing on the cake.
