Having travelled across the globe, and arriving early evening, my 13 colleagues and I were delighted in what we found. Everything was as described and offered us all that we needed for a week long ski vacation. We quickly made ourselves at home, which was quite easy, since nothing had been left out - bedding was comfortable, space was plenty and facilities first rate. It is a clean, attractive and well maintained house, and I would have no hesitation in repeating the experience.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

1. The house is beautiful and spacious! Everyone in my group of 24 stayed comfortably. The owners' website is extremely helpful and informative for planning a large group stay. 2. The owners are very accommodating. Since I live close, the owners offered me the option to meet and sign the lease in person. Jen sat down with me and we chatted for awhile. She went over the floor plan and answered all my questions. During our stay, the hot tub malfunctioned, but after calling the owners, someone came out the next morning to fix it. Also, my security deposit was returned promptly (within 30 days of departure). 3. The management team was also very helpful. I called before arrival and spoke with them. They walked me through all the steps for check in and out, any modifications to the house, etc. As someone who is familiar with property management, I highly recommend this rental property and working with the owners John and Jen. They are very professional and made my trip planning easier.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Very Nice House

The house was beautiful. It was nice that it had 2 master bedrooms and beds all over the place. It was very clean and well maintained. The view of the mountains was incredible. However I had a lot of trouble getting my security deposit back. I had to call and email numerous times and it took about 7 weeks for the owner to finally send it back. It's a shame because we really liked the house.Owner response: I just checked my account and the deposit refund check was cut online and sent one month after your departure. Before I can issue a refund, I must confirm with the cleaning team that you were entitled to a full refund. I apologize for not managing your expectations better than I did. The whole process usually takes less than a month. I'd be happy to waive the damage deposit for you in the future since that seemed to be your biggest problem with the house.

We had our family of 19 stay comfortably here for 4 days in Aug, 2012 for a family wedding in Frisco's Walter Byron Park. The home is spacious and can easily handle a large group. The owners have struggled with some maintenance issues (not unusual for a large CO mountain home). The Master Bedroom/Bathroom is a little strange for multiple families as the bedroom has a privacy door from the Great Room but the shower has no privacy door from the bedroom. But the location, the size of the home and the huge kitchen and Great Room make this an ideal place for family get togethers.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

The house was just like the advertisement. The inside was even nicer than the pictures showed. The beds and bedrooms were perfect for our family (of 18) and with foldout sofas there was room for several more guests. We would definitely recommend it to our friends and consider renting it again.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 3/5

I agree the pictures do this house NO justice at all. This house is MUCH MUCH bigger than these photos... And the decorations etc were amazing...It had won first prize for the decor in that house. They should really put different pics up...the ceilings are vaulted, there are bedrooms everywhere. It has a water fountain just as you walk in...so beautiful and the backyard is huge!! Perfect for wedding tables and a ceremony. The windows are alll over... It was just breathtaking and a memorable experience. Would love to come back and stay again...Plenty of room for our wedding party to stay. It was very very clean like hotel clean...I could not say enough about this place..gorgeous and a MANSION!!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

I arranged a ski trip for a group of 8 guy friends. We selected this house because of the number of private sleeping areas, the proximity to ski resorts, the proximity to main street Frisco, and because it had a working hot tub! We skied Vail, Copper Mtn, Breckenridge, and A-Basin and had a tremendous time. The house was just incredible. The pictures do not do it justice. The vaulted ceilings create a tremendous sensation of openness. The furnishings are well done and comfortable. All electronics worked well so we were able to enjoy the Winter Olympics (even though Canada beat the US in ice hockey!). The home is clearly well cared-for. I have received messages back from members of my ski trip thanking me for selecting this house. The owners, Jennifer and Jason, were a pleasure to work with. There were no surprises. I would definitely select this home again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.
