Impeccable Canal Front with Dock-Prime Dates Still Available

This is an impeccable, beautifully landscaped family home that is being made available for the first time with all the prime dates still available!!! It was built in 2005 and has been lightly used since then!! The master bedroom has a queen size bed with an attached bath and a large double closet. There is another large bedroom that has a queen size bed and a large closet while the third bedroom has two twin beds and a large, oversized closet. For additional, temporary sleeping arrangements, there is a queen size pull out sofa bed in the living room.
You can watch gorgeous sunsets from the peace and tranquility of the enclosed lanai overlooking the dock. There is plenty of room for your boat at our dock with easy access to the outstanding fishing, lobstering or diving in the backcountry or the ocean reefs. We have the best access to the ocean reefs and the back country in all the Keys!! Even on those very windy days you can still bottom fish in protected Newfound Harbor tucked in over by Little Palm Island. Upon your return from a days fishing you'll find a lighted fish cleaning table with running water to clean and prepare your catch. Big Mangrove Snappers will be waiting for scraps at the side of our dock as you clean the days catch. Our dock snappers are super smart and you rarely catch more than one or two before they frustrate you by refusing every bait with a hook in it!! Your catch can go from being filleted to being grilled at the Weber gas grill only twenty steps away!!! You can also choose to have Parrotdise (next block over) cook your catch anyway you like for a nominal fee and serve it family style. Make sure you catch their Happy Hour and be sure to walk home!! For fine dining, Little Palm Island is a great place for Sunday Brunch or dinner. Little Palm Island is only accessible by boat that leaves out of Dolphin Marina (just on the other side of US1). If you're planning to visit the Island, make arrangements on their 1920's style motorboat (the trip is included when you dine on the Island).
We are only a half hour drive from the bustling night life in Key west or Marathon. For quiet dinners or great Happy Hours and weekend entertainment we are within walking distance from Parrotdise or the departure point for Little Palm Island.

We were fortunate enough to have a 2.5 month stay in this wonderful home. (Dec 15th to Feb 28th). The home was easy to find and we were impressed with how clean it was upon our arrival. The home is located near the end of a "dead-end" street and it is in a very quiet neighborhood. A rare find in the Keys. If you have kids, with a watchful eye, they can ride bikes, roller blade, or walk through the neighborhood safely. The beds are very comfortable, bathrooms are very nice, and the living room has a newer, fairly large, TV. The kitchen has pretty much everything that you will need for a short or long stay. The screened porch has lots of seating and overlooks the seawall/docking area by the channel. If you like to boat or fish, you will love the location of this home. Over our extended stay, we had winds from about every direction possible, and you can almost always get out in your boat. Pine Channel is kind of like a long lake that extends about 10 miles from the Atlantic to the Gulf of Mexico. If it is too rough to go out on the ocean, you have wonderful fishing and boating possibilities right in Pine channel. Key West is only 28 miles away so we did visit/shop there a couple of times. Lots of activities and some very good restaurants. Always a fun place to visit, but it was great to come back to our quiet neighborhood at the end of the day. The locals in the neighborhood are very nice, friendly, and helpful people. The owners of this home are like that as well. They bought a new freezer for me to use to keep my fishing ice, bait, chum, and other stuff in. They also let me use their live bait pen so I could keep fresh live bait at the seawall. They make sure that you are enjoying your stay and will answer any questions you have in detail. Hopefully, we will be returning to this wonderful home and location in the future.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We had a wonderful time at this Little Torch house. We found it to be very comfortable and clean. We had everything we needed, from comfy beds to a wonderfully supplied kitchen. The location was great for boating, fishing, diving, and snorkeling. A full supermarket is just a few minutes away. It truly is like staying in a friends nice home, rather than a rental. We look forward to returning soon.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

Our family and friend had a good vacation week here on Little Torch Key. This home is nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. We arrived in stormy, rainy weather, and had a scary electrical storm the first of the week, but the weather got better each day, and was really nice by the latter part of the week. The guys took a charter boat, caught a very large almacojack, a big Mahi, and some smaller Mahi. Excellent eating! We enjoyed snorkeling at Looe Reef, sunning at Bahia Honda park, walking the 7-mile bridge (beautiful sunsets!) and bridge fishing. There were several good restaurants nearby for breakfast and excellent seafood. This was our first trip to the Keys, so it was all a new experience for us. We liked the area where we stayed better than all the rest of the Keys- it was neat seeing the deer on Big Pine Key roaming through the streets at dark. We all have many good memories from our week at this nice home.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

My wife and I and our youngest (14) spent eight days here in April and found the home to be well maintained and comfortable. The description of the home and its many features is spot on; the sunsets from the west-facing upstairs deck (screened in) were ideal. We used the kayaks - easy to launch into the canal behind the house - and found our way quickly and easily into the back country. We also had use of two Wave Runners when friends came to visit which allowed us to venture far into the back country and also past Little Palm Island out into the ocean. For someone who has fished primarily on the west coast, fishing in the Keys, and in particular the back country, is surreal. And fishing in Little Torch Key is superb. (To wit: just exactly how do you land a five foot Tarpon while fishing from a Wave Runner with three aboard?) For us, the peace and quiet and comfort of this home in Little Torch Key surpassed our expectation. We like the fact that it's only twenty-five miles from Key West - easy to get there and enjoy its many fine eateries yet just far enough away to come back home to relax. And just a short drive east are the beaches of Bahia Honda State Park. The day we were there a lot of sea grass had washed ashore. But there was still plenty of sand for us to spread out our towels and then swim. The water was quite comfortable. On our next trip to the keys this home will be out first choice. Thank you for keeping it in such great shape and for sharing it.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

We had a two-week stay which was over all too quickly. The house was in a nice neighborhood, and was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The fishing was very good - we took 3 charters and did some bridge fishing as well. We cooked our catch at home either in the well-stocked kitchen or on the grill. We caught mahi-mahi, hogfish, snapper, grunts, barracuda, and even a sailfish (which we put back to catch another day!) There are many resturants depending on how far you want to travel. One of our favorites was the "Square Grouper" which is fairly close and serves gourmet food. We have eaten there many times and have always enjoyed it. "Parrotdise", which is in the same neighborhood as the house, is also a lot of fun, and you can dock your boat there for lunch if you wish. I would definitely recommend this rental to friends and relatives. We had friends stay with us for the second week and they had a wonderful time as well. We hope to be back soon!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

My husband and I and another couple had a splendid stay at this vacation home in Little Torch Key. The house was impeccably clean, very well decorated, and had plenty of room. The fishing in the Keys was awesome - our first wahoo! I have to admit that the snappers in the canal were smarter than we were though...thats why they are still there and we are back here in the cold. The neighborhood was very nice; people were friendly and helpful. Swimming in the canal was wonderful after a hot day bridge fishing; diving into the canal was easy. The hard part (and often comical to those safely on the dock) was getting out again. Being "60-something" and a little overweight made the rope exit a challenge. A good time was had by all! We can hadrdly wait til we can get away again and will certainly try to get this home again. We would definitely recommend this property to friends or relatives. There are many nice restaurants within driving distance, and we used the grill and kitchen a lot. The kitchen is well stocked with anything you might need. Sunsets on the lanai were as advertised!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

we enjoyed our long weekend in this home. we shied away when there were no pictures of the inside of the home, but found it beautifully decorated and extremely clean and charming on the inside as well! good location for boaters; my husband enjoyed snorkling right off the dock. a very nice place to stay; with one drawback (or bonus) being that it wasn't near to many things to do, other than fish and relax!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
