  We had a wonderful stay. The unit was clean and well kept. Had a view of the water and in the distance could view the windmills. Accessible to various attractions by way of a short drive. I would recommend this unit and location to friends and family.

  We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay in this condo. The unit was very clean upon arrival. Some things noted in other recent reviews were addressed, new curtains, new refrigerator, new dining set. The kitchen came well equipped for preparing meals. The roof top deck was very nice, something unique compared to other Kihei condost. It made for a spectacular place to watch the sunset, spot whales, and we cooked many dinners on the grills. These grills were clean and worked great. We also enjoyed sitting out on the lanai with views of the ocean and West Maui mountains. Spotting whales from the lanai every day was a real treat. A great way to relax after a day of snorkeling, hiking, windsurfing. A downside, though, was some street noise since this is an end unit. But overall staying here was a great experience. It made for very enjoyable Maui vacation.

• Good value condo with a view

  To be honest, we were quite concerned before our arrival after reading the newly posted reviews for this condo. We reached out to Susie and she assured us that the issues identified by previous tenants were all addressed or in the process of being addressed. When we arrived we were happy to confirm that this is indeed the case. There was a new table with the chairs, a set of new pots/pans, the window curtains were replaced, as well as the comforters, and the carpet was freshly cleaned. The refrigerator was due to be replaced after our departure - the old one was not that old as refrigerators go, I think made in 2001, and was working just fine, only with the cosmetic problems on the exterior, but in great shape inside. So the condo was clean and functional, even if showing some signs of age. As beachfront condos with a view go on Maui, this one was clearly a good value, and met our expectations. The location is very good, with beaches just to the North and South. We went out paddle boarding every morning, one day we got to spend 20 min with a whale mother with a calf just a few hundred yards off shore! The condo is facing NW - you can see gorgeous sunsets, but only from the lanai. The unit is closest to the street, and at night you do hear some street noise - there is not much traffic at night, but you do hear the cars passing by. It helps when the windows are closed - for some reason much of the noise in the master bedroom comes in from the bathroom window, so closing that window, and the bathroom/bedroom doors cut the noise a lot. We stayed there in the winter, so sleeping with windows closed was not an issue, but in the summer that could be a problem, I don't think the unit has A/C. The windows themselves were in good shape opening/closing and sealing. In many Maui condos/hotels the windows don't seal well and can be howling/whistling in the wind - we had no such issues, even when the winds were 20-30 mph a couple of nights (you still hear the wind outside, but at least it's not made worse by the windows). So I would give this condo 5 stars because of the overall value it provides, and because of the attention that the manager is giving it. If you stay there, and anything is not right for you, work with Susie and she will take care of it.

  With the ocean and sunrise, this is the best option to choose. Everything you need is included. Plenty of space, very clean, fresh, new furniture, TV, Internet. You will find everything you need to complete your vacation. We was VERY satisfied and will return! We recommend this apartment for everyone. You will feel like home, except waking up to the most beautiful view!

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

• DIRTY!!!

  This condo is filthy! Below are some of the highlights of our dissatisfaction. • The mattresses were old and dingy. They were terribly uncomfortable and you could feel the springs every time you moved, not to mention the stains. • The pillows were on par with the mattresses. They were flat and so disgusting we didn't dare to look at them until we left. Thankfully we didn't because they were so discolored I could only imagine what was growing on them. The bedding was just as gross. We immediately removed the bedspreads and didn't sleep anywhere near them. It appeared they hadn't been washed since they were purchased quite a long time ago. • The curtains were so old and worn they were literally falling apart, plus they were torn in places. • The carpet was stained and dirty. • The fabric on the dining room chairs and stools were also stained and disgusting. • The bathrooms are old, run down and dirty. I washed the tub when we got there because I couldn't bring myself to bathe my toddler in there without scrubbing it down. The water pressure in the shower in the second bathroom barely reached a dribble. • The pots and pans were old, gouged and scrapped. We actually bought a new frying pan to cook with. The fridge had rust all over it. The water filter for the ice and water needed to be replaced, who knows how long the indicator light has been on. In addition to the more offensive problems, there were a number of minor problems. • There was a dirty spatula in a kitchen drawer. • A cleaning rag in the garbage disposal that we had to fish out. • The table on the lanai is old and the paint is chipping. • 4 light bulbs were burned out. • The coffee table was dirty and stained from people putting their feet on it. • I should also mention that 5 people for 9 nights were left with 3 rolls of toilet paper, 2 hotel-size soap and 1 roll of paper towels. There were no sponges to clean the counters etc.., which we ended up buying. There wasn't any glass cleaner either, which is a problem when the dining room table is glass as is the coffee table. This condo is unacceptable. It was beyond disappointing to spend the time and money to get to Maui only to be staying in a squalid condo.All I can say is don't rent this property, there are better condos out there for your money. Lastly, VRBO is a reputable website. To continue to advertise and/or support a vacation rental of this dismal quality reflects very poorly on VRBO.

  I was there for 13 nights and was shocked at the stains on the carpet in the living room/dining room and second bedroom. The chairs and bar stools were so stained I didn't even want to sit on them. The curtains were black from mold and falling apart. The manager Susie was very good and had the carpets washed, curtains replaced in second bedrooom and bedspreads replaced. The layout and size of condo is nice but noisy because you are right beside the road and the Lanai never gets sun because you face north. The condo building is very nice with roof top BBQ and lovely pool and grass area.

  With the variety of resorts that I have stayed in over the years of business and pleasure travel, i must say that this unit offer numerous amenities for the affordable price. The views were outstanding, the space adequate, the location convinient, and the sunsets to die for!! I definately would recommend this vacation rental to friends and business associates.

  What an incredible bargain this was. We never thought we could afford to stay at an oceanfront condo at such an affordable rate. The views are just incredible and the unit itself was very comfortable and spacious. Our two kids enjoyed having their own bedroom and the twin beds were perfect. They loved having their own bathroom too! This complex is in a very convenient location for all the activities we were doing and the parking was free. Everybody was really friendly and the staff at the management company helped us with any request we had. We will definitely come back again just as soon as we can.
