  We thoroughly enjoyed our 10 day stay in this condo! The complex is quiet, private and beautiful with all the lush growth in the center common area. Everything we needed for a day at the beach was there - chairs, umbrellas, ice chests, etc. The kitchen is very well stocked with utensils and appliances. Overall. just a great place to stay and Frank is excellent to work with! Thanks so much!!

  Two weeks went by too quickly. Everything we needed was availalbe at our fingertips either in the condo or beach. Working with Frank was so easy as he provided such good customer support in pre-rent, renting and during our stay. We will definately stay here again and will recommend to family and friends. Clean and well-maintained on both floors. Love the ceramic fish on the walls.. the picture does not do justice to how the condo really appears. DVR with all the stations, stereo, VCR and DVD player when needed. Nice porch to sit outside during the evening hours to listen to the birds. Across the street from Pacific Whale Foundation. The beach was not even a block walk. Easy to go back and forth to the condo for lunch and return to the beach. Excellent access to post office, grocery stores, and other needs. Thanks Frank for sharing your hospitality. We timeshare with RCI and Disney and loved the condo. MAHALO!

  The condo and grounds are beautiful. I think the photos on VBRO do not do this lovely rental justice. It's really very pretty. The owner provided everything we could possibly need from a hair dryer to beach chairs. The pool was clean and cool; the jacuzi warm and comfortable. The area is quiet and we loved hearing the birds in the evening and morning. The only disappointment was we could only stay a week. I would recommend this rental to everyone.

  The three of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this condo. It was a good Kihei location as it was not in the heart of Kihei and was a convenient location to other parts of the island. The grounds were peaceful and lush with a swimming pool and hot tub. This condo was very beautiful, comfortable, and clean. The owner was available by phone for questions or referrals for help . The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and appliances, and beddings and towels were ample. The place was beautifully decorated and furnished with Hawaiian materials and art. We stayed a week and had a great time checking out the island and relaxing at the condo.

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing.

  We stayed here on short notice for a long weekend away from the Military. The owners are the Point of Contact and were very helpful and accommodating with every need. They were very flexible and accessible (although it is not peak season right now). We arrived and everything was in order as planned, but the first thing that hit us was a bit of musty odor. I am sure it is of no fault of the owners (they had just left that day), and has everything to do with this being an older unit, with true wood cabinetry in a high humidity climate. We aired the place out for a few hours or so and were good to go. The other issue was I do not think their cleaning person does them justice, the floors were dirty and so were the towels. We swept the floor, washed a few loads of clothes and were set to enjoy our weekend. My family consists of myself, my wife, 2 1/2 year old son and 4 mo. old daughter. Despite the two bedrooms we used one since the loft upstairs seemed to be slightly more accommodating to children who were slightly older than our son. The rest of the house is kid friendly and the lanai is very tranquil, with the trees and tropical plants giving you some sun, but a lot of seclusion! The amenities were good for a short stay, but we really would have had to do some cleaning and stocking for a stay of a week or longer. The internet was very intermittent and we had to constantly reset the modem and router. this was essential since I am a pilot and flew us there on our own private aircraft. Now for the best part, the location! Kihei is AWESOME to say the least! The complex is right across the street from the beach (but due to rocky shores should only be used by adults and older children). We were a short drive to many great local restaurants (Big Wave Cafe, Sharky's [for the kids], Ono Gelato, the Farmer's Market, Pizza, Fast Food, you name it! Breathtaking sunsets on the Maui shore and great beaches within 5 miles so a rental car is a must! Overall the price was right for the value! Great for a short stay or a week or so and would definitely return due to the overall value and experience. that being said, if you are looking for luxury, updated accommodations this might not be for you! My recommendation is you check out the Marriott or Hilton and leave this for us folks of lesser means! Mahalo!

  Owner response: Thank you so much for bringing to our attention the issues during your recent stay.  We were quite surprised and have already taken the necessary steps to make sure the musty smell and unsatisfactory housekeeping is addressed.  With the recent tsunami, most of our Maui neighbors have commented on the additional water on all beach access properties which caused some wetter than normal conditions.  Happy to report things are back to normal.  We spent time discussing with our cleaning crews what our expectations, and most importantly what our guests expectations are. We take pride in our Maui homes with our ultimate goal making our guests visit to Maui filled with comfort, beauty, and much Aloha!! Thank you again for your feedback and please accept our sincere apology. Looking forward to your return

  It was the right first visit to Maui thanks Dale & Frank. Perfectly located, well kept, bright and comfortable! Owners were very helpful from the moment of booking in October 2010 till last week when they sent us a mahi-mahi recepy! Excellent location to explore everything on the island! We'll be back next year.

  Not fussy... but comfortable, clean and well-stocked with everything from a blender for margaritas, to beach towels & chairs, and about 6 different cooler sizes. The complex is quiet, and this second floor balcony overlooks a tropical garden so it's almost as if you are in a tree house. It would be great for a family, with two double beds in the townhouse upstairs.... and the master bedroom has a door. Landlords are super-responsive and provided great local referrals for affordable eating and shopping and beaching. If you are exploring all of Maui, this is pretty centrally located.

  Actually we are here now, and this place is exactly what we were looking for. Beautiful location, quiet, lovely grounds, and we walked across the street to watch the most beautiful sunsets ever. The grounds are amazing with a koi pond in the middle that adds to the ambiance of the whole exotic experience. I would come back here again and again. The accomodations include with flat screen TV, stereo, washer dryer, and the lanai (patio) is awesome. This is a must visit condo. I really don't want to leave.

  We have stayed here many times, location is great. Close to a small beach across the street where we watch the sunset and hope for the "green flash". The unit is well stocked for cooking in, BBQ is close by, and shopping convenient. We love Kihei !

  We recently went to Maui and stayed in this unit! Very quiet complex and great layout! The Beach was steps away (right across the street) and it was a fully loaded unit! We had 2 kids with us aswell and the were as welcomed as we were, plenty of beach items were in the unit for us to use and the kids loved it!
