  We just returned from our wedding and honeymoon in Marco Island and we couldn't be happier. Your place is nicely furnished and a great location. When they says bring nothing but your clothes...they mean it. Bikes, beach chairs, towels, umbrellas and floats for fun at the beach. The covered parking was also a bonus as it was raining the night we arrived. The days to follow were very hot and it kept the car cool. The 2 pools and 3 hot tubs on the property are very nice but we loved the natural beauty of Marco Island. We also took advantage of shopping in Naples on 5th Ave. and a day trip to Sanibel Island. Stop by the Izod shop in the Naples Outlet just off the island. Best prices on Izod I have ever seen and 5 miles from the condo. The Dolphin Tiki Bar on the property was great as well. Live music on Thursday and Sunday night with Frank Carroll was great and you can't beat the location. The burgers are FANTASTIC, the mini crab cakes are delicious and they have nightly drink specials. For the best seafood and a lot of it..go to Fort Myers to the Skip One Rest. on the Tamiami Trail. Trust me..It's worth the ride. All fresh catch and very well prepared. The place was very clean and comfortable and priced very fairly. Everything you could ask for to make your getaway memorable. Our next trip to Marco, we know where we will be staying!! Thanks again for making this vacation/wedding/honeymoon the best it could be.   What a wonderful condo this is. We had been touring for the previous three weeks and this was a superb finish to our holiday in the USA. We parked the car in the covered parking and travelled the island on the bikes, thank you so much Ray for arranging for us to use them. The condo had everythingthat we needed (even down to the sunshine). The best property we have stayed in, I'm sure it felt more comfortable than home. We would love to come back again next year.   My boyfriend Larry and I stayed at this rental property for a week. We were amazed that it was equipped with everything we needed. We absolutely loved that it made us feel like we were at home. The covered parking and bikes were a plus. The location was perfect for the island. We were in walking/biking distance to both local grocery stores, restaurants, a marina where we went fishing, local shops, convenient stores, and shopping plazas. We are thinking about planning our vacation for next year here. There was sufficient space, and the beach chairs and umbrellas came in handy we went to South Marco Beach. Thank you so much Ray & Kathleen for letting us stay at your fabulous condo!

  This June marked our second visit to Marco Island and our second stay at Ray and Kathy's place. Again, we had the best visit possible and noticed little things, like the roller blinds replacing the vertical ones, made it even nicer. I know that even since our visit in June, the TVs have been upgraded in the cabana and upstairs living room. When the owner keeps improving the property like that, you know they care about your stay as well as their own. We are already checking if we can book again for both spring break and again in the summer; we have no desire to stay anywhere but here. Thank you again, Kathy and Ray, for helping to making our vacation memories so wonderful!

  We have stayed several times at Anglers Cove; first time in this condo. What a pleasant surprise and feeling to walk into our temporary residence and feel we were at home. Did you forget something? Chances are it is in the condo! Location? Couldn't be better. Loved the covered parking! If you are teetering in your decision, go for it. You will not be disappointed!!

  This condo was the perfect place to stay for our two weeks in Marco Island Florida. My husband, son and I enjoyed every minute we were here. From our family bike rides, going to the beach, sitting by the pool and going to eat at all the restaurants. I especially liked having the downstairs so after my morning runs I could come back in the condo and do my weights without bothering my husband or son. My son espially loved having his own beach chair and the noodles for the pool. Everything that this condo says it has it does. Ray and Kathleen were nothing but accomodating. My family has been coming here for 16 years so we do know Marco Island and Anglers Cove. If we had to recommend a place for anyone to stay this would definitely be it. Ray and Kathleen we may have to contact you next year for Easter time and make it a little longer. :)

  Ray & Kathleen's property was absolutely perfect for me, my husband and 8 year old son, but we could have easily accommodated another couple as well. The unit is stocked like a house, not a rental property. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, cutting boards, spices, knives, wine bottle opener, glasses, plates, etc. Non-perishable items from previous renters were a great find and we were sure to leave things for the next renters as well. You can tell from the care of the items there that Ray & Kathleen are friendly, open people, but you will know that even sooner as soon as you email the owners regarding rental. I was pleased to find a hair dryer, several books to read, cards and board games, as well as three TVs and two bathrooms. They also have a huge variety of pool toys, coolers and beach gear, which they let renters use during their stay. The condo also has several radios in various rooms and the cabana downstairs means you can have some “get away” time from your companions if you’d want it. They also have two bikes which are available for use, and the double parking spot makes bringing things in from the car very easy. Additionally, this unit is a few steps away from a pool, spa and sunning deck and has laundry facilities just a floor up from the unit, which is accessible via elevator should you need it. Bring quarters. Anglers Cove has two beautiful, salt water pools, three hot tub/spas. The complex is very well-kept and the people we encountered, both visitors and locals, were very friendly. The Dolphin Tiki Café and Bar had reasonably priced food and drinks, with additional convenience of being able to grab a quick bite after playing in the pool. The marina next door to the condo was the starting point for the Dolphin Study Eco-Tour and Cruise, which was FABULOUS (and a spot for emergency sun block purchasing!) Above and beyond that, we just packed up the stuff in the car and drove to the beach where we spent every night for sunset. After sunset, we were very happy to come back to the condo to relax, make dinner and just be together without the pressures of “real” life. Anglers Cove is close to several stores (2 minutes driving, 5 by bike), making cooking at “home” very simple, and there is another family restaurant/bar called The Sand Bar within walking distance. We are booking again for next year…this really felt like home away from home. And a big THANK YOU to Ray & Kathleen for making it feel exactly that way.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

  I stayed in this unit for one week while attending a conference in January at the Marriott. The apartment was great for the three adults (all women). One person slept on the sofabed downstairs and the other two were in the bedroom upstairs. The bathrooms were great and the beds were comfortable. We could have used another blanket, but only because the three of us wouldn't agree on the temperature to set the thermostat. The kitchen was well stocked and had a lot of supplies left over from previous visitors (spices, oil, sugar, etc). The apartment has an attached parking area- perfect for moving all of your beach equipment in/out of the car. Not to mention the huge supply of fun beach stuff in the condo. Wish we could have stayed longer to take advantage of the toys. The condo looks just like the pictures with a nice area downstairs. The condo is located in a great area. We felt safe and the whole complex was always nice and quiet. Make sure you go to the Everglades and take lots of walks on the beach! All of the interactions with the owner were fantastic. He was efficient and did everything on time (sent the keys, refunded the deposit). I highly recommend this unit.

  We had a wonderful time on Marco. This condo worked very well for us. The location is outstanding, close to marina and many restaraunts. I would recomend this unit.
