My Daughter and her husband and I stayed with Bob and Anna for one week of pure heaven. There is no way they could have made it any better. Their ambassadors Jake and Leo ( the dogs ) are such gentlemen. The beds very comfortable, the apartment lovely. I must mention the linens which were so luxurious. When we did our research prior to booking and read all the positive reviews we were very, very disbelieving, no one could be that good.. Well they are. They place was clean and well maintained. Bob was out first thing every morning cleaning the pool which was for our exclusive use and positively sparkling. Everything depicted in the description and photos was accurate. I have recommended to several of my friends this property. My family lives in NYC but I am local and will certainly return.

Our First Panama Adventure

Our adventure began soon after we landed at Tocumen airport. We hopped in our rental car and started the long drive (6-7 hrs with a stop for a late lunch) to Boca Chica. If you choose this option be sure to plan it so you arrive before dark as the last leg of the drive on the local roads from the Pan Am highway can be tricky in the dark! We arrived at Bob & Ann’s place at about 8:30PM (well after dark) and were greeted by Bob with open arms (and a fully stocked refrigerator – that cold beer sure tasted great after a long drive!). The apartment came with everything that you could imagine needing during you stay. I mean everything, including our “surrogate pets” for the week Jake & Leo , their 2 wonderful dogs! Bob and Ann are wonderful hosts and have a magnificent house that sits up on the bluff and overlooks the beach/bay/ocean at Playa Hermosa. They were helpful in every aspect of our stay; from directing us to the best markets in David (1 hr away – prepare to be surprised at how inexpensive things are in the markets!) to setting up fishing trips and restaurant rez for us. The cell phone was a real helpful tool which we used quite often during our stay. Fishing with the locals was a fun trip – caught lots of fish. Also went to Las Secas for some great scuba diving! The pool at the house is absolutely stunning and not a day went by without us being in it at least three times a day! We ate in a few nights, taking advantage of the great gas grill on the patio. We also ate at two local restaurants (Lourdes and Keylins) and the food was excellent and inexpensive at both! We also ate out at Seagull Cove Inn (lunch and 2 dinners) and also at the Bocas Del Mar resort (2 dinners) and these were both good choices and still relatively inexpensive. Stop by the Gone Fishing Panama resort for an afternoon drink with Bruce (American owner) and some great conversation. We made several day trips to places such as Boquete & Las Lajas (great beach and nice resort that offers a $10 per person day pass!) as well as to some of the remote native indian villages scattered about. All in all we had great weather, wonderful hosts, a super place to stay and have just scratched the surface of all the various things to do and see in Panama! We’ll certainly be back in the near future – seems like direct flights to David from the USA are soon to become a reality so that will be our cue for our next Panamanian adventure! Didn't disappoint

After reading all the positive reviews my wife and I were excited about getting to Ann and Bob's place. Well, we weren't disappointed. There's a reason you guys are 56 for 56 for excellent ratings (now 57 for 57!). From the moment we arrived you made us feel at home....we just wish we had more time to spend at your place. As others have stated, Bob and Ann are the perfect hosts, being "Johny on the spot" when we needed anything and fading into the background when we were enjoying time alone. Here's an example. Being from Milwaukee, one of the beer drinking capitals of the world I tend to like the stuff. When we arrived in Panama on Good Friday I quickly found out that I couldn't buy beer (or any alcohol for that matter) until Monday....bad planning on my part. Well, when I mentioned this to Bob he rushed up stairs and promptly brought down a flat of Atlas Beer (that's a case for you Midwesterners) and saved the day. That's the kind of hosts Bob and Ann are, extremely thoughtful. Bob also set us up on a great fishing trip and gave us some pointers about visiting Boquete which we thoroughly enjoyed. But mostly we enjoyed walks down by the beach and sitting by the infinity pool unwinding. All in all, a great vacation in a beautiful location with wonderful hosts. Ann and Bob, thanks again so much, we will be back!

Exceeded Expectations!!!

My Husband and I found this property at Home Away.com and read all the great reviews and decided to give it a try since we had always wanted to visit Panama and are considering retirement options for our future. We are sure glad we did!! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we were so happy with the accomodations and Bob and Ann the owners of the property. A wonderful place to reconnect with your better half or spend some quality time with your family! The apartment is beautiful and stocked with everything you can imagine so no need to overpack! You will spend most of your time in the beautiful infinity pool or the Gulf. Tired of the rush rush rush of home and work,this is the perfect place to decompress and fall in love all over again! We would definately go back!!!

Incredible vacation, incredible hosts

There is no place like home, except when you travel 4000 plus miles and feel at home. What a beautiful location, home and owners! Thank you Ann and Bob, Leo and Jake. We arrived later in the evening, and had been told not to worry about groceries that we would be ok for a few days . We still stopped and shopped for basics on our way,( I love Rays Grocery Stores!) however when Bob graciously met us at the gate and welcomed us, it was more than we expected. Ann and Bob had gone above and beyond. I immediately had a chilled glass of white wine and unpacked. Lee a cold beer. The unit is immaculate, comfortable and well decorated. Lots of closet space, large laundry ( and a convenient outside clothes line) tile showers.. A well-appointed kitchen with all the necessary appliances , dishes, utensils…EVERYTHING you could need. Private patio with amazing views of the stars in the evening and the Pacific Ocean during the daylight. Not to mention the infinity pool right off the patio, perfect for hot sunny days and even relaxing on a cloudy day. Heaven knows the sun is intense. Make sure you keep your sunblock reapplied! The flat screen TV and an ample selection of great movies for winding down at the end of our adventure filled days. Even those days where all we did was walk the spacious beach, hardly saw another soul, and read for hours, blended fresh fruit drinks and fresh fish grilled to perfection….. Lee and I have been to Panama repeatedly, have friends dotted across the country and now have new friends and a home away from home. Whether you are looking for a romantic getaway, traveling with friends or family this is a great place to call home while in Panama. Leo and Jake, the dogs,( sorry boys we know you think you are human,) were well disciplined and made us feel like part of the family. They are polite , love to be petted and have small treats. I looked forward to our morning hellos and them acknowledging us coming and going. Jake and Leo are great watch dogs, never know when the holler monkeys can get to close..ha ha . Hug and kiss them for us. Ann and Bob, you are welcome at our home anytime. We are Blessed to know you , to have shared your home and we will see you again. All our love , we will cherish your hospitality and kindness

Fantastic location, view, accomodation and hosts

We loved Bob and Ann's rental. Our group consisted of two couples and the accomodations were perfect. The apartment is spacious and has absolutely every ammenity you require. The refrigerator was completely stocked when we arrived and there was fish and fruit waiting for us. First and foremost, Bob and Ann are fantastic hosts. They provided us complete privacy and yet were available on a seconds notice if we needed any help. It is like being at your own personal resort. They helped us with some day trip arrangements (tours, shopping, restaurants, etc) and provided valuable information to make our stay effortless. I recommend reading their information packet in the house - it is the most comprehensive and well prepared book I have ever seen in a rental and has everything you need to decide what you would like to do in Panama. The view and pool are fantastic - a great set up to relax and enjoy the day and night. Star gazing at night by the pool is amazing. The weather was perfect - sunshine and light breeze - we couldn't have asked for better. We swam in the ocean and hiked when the tide went out. If you are active, we ventured across some of the peninsulas and come out on other huge, beautiful deserted beaches. We took a boat trip to a deserted island and lazed on the beach and snorkeled and this was great. We spent a day in Boquette and took the coffee plantation tour at Finca Dos Fefes and I would highly recommend it. If you like to go out to a restaurant once and while there are some fantastic ones to choose from just a few minutes drive away. This is a great getaway property. Our only regret was not having a longer stay.

We Didn't Want to Leave!

This place is everything it says and more! Bob and Ann have created such a lovely haven to rest, relax and enjoy your surroundings. This was our second stay (and it won't be the last) here with Bob & Ann and we were greeted like family. The apartment is lovely and spacious. We were rarely inside except for sleeping and preparing meals. The veranda is comfortable and with two new rockers, we were able to sit and read or just enjoy the birds. Bob and Ann also have two new hammacks in the rancho which are delightful to sit and read or nap in and the floats for the pool are so wonderful we already bought some for our own use at home. This is one of the best equipped rentals we have ever had. There is EVERYTHING you could possibly need -coffee maker, toaster, blender, grill, pots/pans, dishes, glasses, washer/dryer, even a sandwich maker. Very comfortable beds, comfortable size bedrooms and nice bathrooms make for a great rental for two couples. Our hosts are always available but never intrusive. We highly recommend this lovely area for vacationing. We love it so much we've already booked for next January.

This was an absolutely fabulous place to stay with the best hosts you could ever have. The property was even more beautiful than the pictures. Bob and Ann were there for anything we needed, but were non-intrusive. The apartment was well stocked and anything we wanted was there immediately. Bob and Ann truly have the apartment stocked with EVERYTHING you could possibly need. The pool was beyond awesome, and the fresh fruit supplied and growing on the property was the best we have ever eaten. We didn't really spend much time on the beach, the walk back up to the property is pretty tough, and the sand is certainly not the sugar white sand from the Florida Gulf. The water was great, and since it is a protected cove it was gentle. Bob was an excellent resource and we caught some fabulous fish with his recommendation for a guide - and the price could not be beat! Before we caught our fish Ann directed us to a place to buy fresh fish and vegetables along the roadside where the prices were great. At Bob's suggestion we had lunch at a home restaurant (Arturo Lourdes) which was excellent and we were the only ones there. The warnings found online about driving in Panama City are all TRUE! It was terrible with a complete lack of road signs, multiple detours, and little help when asking directions. We did finally make it to our hotel the first night there, and eventually made it to the canal and then to the apartment. The canal is a must see. By the way, it will take up to 6 hours to get from Panama City to Boca Chica. It is a beautiful drive, but watch the locals - they will go all the way in the other lane to dodge pot holes, which are in good supply. It would have been worth it to fly from Panama City to David! A drive up to Bouquete for sight-seeing and shopping was a real joy. We missed our connection to tour the coffee plantation, which we hope to do next time. The change from the seaside to the mountains was an awesome sight. We ate at TGI Friday in David after a week of fresh fish every day and it was an excellent change. Go stay with Ann and Bob. You will not regret it!

Dear Bob and Ann, Words cannot describe just how wonderful our stay was at your home last month. You were gracious hosts to say the least, and we could not have asked for more. We found the views to be absolutely breathtaking...so breathtaking that we are considering a move to Panama. Anyone wanting a fabulous getaway should consider their stay with you for the view, the weather, the fishing, the private infinity pool, the beach, local area restaurants and visiting the neighboring towns. One will never feel bored here. Thanks again. Who knows, we might come again for our 1st wedding anniversary!

A piece of heaven away from home

My husband and I want to spend some days away from work, we met Ann and Bob in our business and we decided to go meet their place. We saw Ann´s Rental only in pictures. When we get there lovely Ann and Bod welcome us like we were family and they help us with our bags and show us everything, first thing I said to Ann was: "Sorry Ann but the pictures don´t make any justice to this place... It´s beautiful, a little piece of heaven on heart. You will find everything you need in there, so we don´t have to worry about anything we forgot at home, lotion, reading material, games, movies, you named, the kitchen and laundry are fully equipped. Ann and Bob welcome us with delicious fruits and fish. The view is outstanding, we have the infinity pool for ourselves, we walk to the beach the first day and in our way back we hear the monkeys... We found a lot of peace and relaxation, and lobster at Lourdes restaurant, we work out at the stairs on the way to the beach, swim in the pool or just seat and relax by the pool, doing nothing just relaxing and enjoying the view... It was the perfect weekend for us... If we could rate our weekend there we will give it 10 stars, we are looking forward to come back, its the perfect place with the perfect people for having a perfect vacation. "Thank you Ann and Bod for open the doors of your home, we had an amazing weekend, we could not believe it when it was time to go... Hope to see you soon.

Home away from home !!!!!!

We stayed at this unique place for 3 nights. The apartment is tastefully decorated and equipped with everything you might think of: plenty of towels, coolers, boogie-boards and a kitchen with all amenities. Even the fridge is filled with drinks, everything for breakfast, vegetables, fresh fish and a wonderful fruit-basket. We really enjoyed the fantastic pool, which we used alone. The view and the private beach are simply amazing. Our hosts, Ann and Bob, are very helpful people, who tried to make our stay as comfortable as possible. In the apartment they provided a more than useful folder, in which we could find many recommendations for trips or restaurants. One afternoon we got in a police-control in David ( which is about 1 hour drive away from Playa Hermosa) and unfortunately we forgot our driving-license in the apartment. Our fantastic hosts didn`t hesitate one second to bring us the driving-license, so that we were able to continue our trip !!!!!!! All in all, we can highly recommend this great place to people, who want to enjoye on one hand a remote beach-area and on the other hand a luxury apartment with more than pleasant hosts. Thank you Ann and Bob for these unforgettable days.

Missing this house already!

My wife and I and 3 teenage sons stayed here for a week in August. We drove up from Albrook in PC. The drive took over 6 hours, but was beautiful. Before we even arrived, Bob offered via email to have fresh fish in the fridge for us to make for dinner! Upon arrival, Bob and Ann greeted us, gave us the tour of this stunning home and property and got us settled in. Having a stocked fridge and pantry for the first day or two and a beautiful view/pool/beach was a great relief from a long day of travel. During our stay we alternated days of relaxing by the pool and beach (which we had to ourselves) with activities including a day trip to Boquete for sightseeing and ziplining, and a day boat trip to a deserted island for lunch and frolicking. Bob and Ann helped us arrange all of this. They also let us know when they were making a trip to David and asked if we wanted anything. They picked us up Sun Block (which we needed a lot of even though it is the rainy season) and some food at Costco. Other than that we bought most of our daily groceries at the local store in Horconcitos (15 min away). Bob and Ann were at our beckon call for anything we needed, from advice where to eat to lending us DVD movies to watch each night, but also kept very much to themselves to let us enjoy the beautiful pool and surroundings. We found this location so relaxing and took so many pictures, we were very disapointed that we did not spend more of our two week Panama vacation at this house. We miss the house already, and we are plotting how to get back soon, perhaps this time without kids in tow!! Thanks Bob and Ann for a wonderful vacation. Wonderful Experience, Exceptional Host and Hostess!!!

My husband and I are in our 60s, and had been talking for some time about the possibility of retiring in Central America, preferably Costa Rica or Panama. We wanted to spend a couple weeks in Panama to look for available long term rental properties, and just to see what the country was like. After finding Annsrental on VRBO, and reading the reviews, we decided it looked almost too good to be true! We booked the last 10 days of July and the first 3 days of August. Well, let me tell you, everything that was written about Annsrental and Lobster Cove was “spot on”, as Ann would say!! After getting lost twice, and arriving just about dark, we were welcomed with open arms!! The apartment is absolutely beautiful, and anything we could possibly have wanted, they had ready for us. The refrigerator was fully stocked with enough food to last us for several days. Ann and Bob were wonderful hosts. They were ready at a moments notice, to help us with anything we needed, or wanted. The next morning, Bob brought us over two large fresh fish filets, which we grilled on the balcony that evening. Those filets were some of the best I have ever tasted! Ann also cooked some fish for us a couple days later, and it was scrumptious! Two of our friends, Ike and Rhonda, joined us for the last week of our stay. My husband and I rented a car in Panama City, and drove through to Lobster cove. Ike and Rhonda, came through a week later on a bus from Panama City. Both modes of travel were enjoyable and uneventful. The information book Bob and Ann put together was very useful!! Our day trip to a nearby waterfall was unbelievable. We loved Bouquette, and our tour of a coffee plantation. I was allowed to roast some of the coffee beans myself. It was truly an experience! Looking back, I wish we had brought more of the Panamanian coffee home with us. It was totally gone way too soon!!! I hope our new friends Jake and Leo, (Ann's and Bob's german shepard and dalmation) don’t miss us too much!! They would drop by several times a day to see what treats we had for them. We had a great time swimming and lounging around the infinity pool, while looking out over the sparkling Pacific ocean, very relaxing!! We loved the experience of visiting Panama, and plan to visit again soon!! If it is available, we surely will be spending a good portion of our time at Annsrental. Breathtaking Views and Wonderful Hosts

If you plan on visiting Panama and truly want to enjoy your vacation in a relaxing, private and peaceful environment than this is your place! Located directly on the Pacific Ocean it is absolutely gorgeous. I would wake up every morning and walk down to the beach to do a little exploring. The views never disappointed. The infinity pool was perfect for relaxing day or night and was very refreshing. We went on vacation with four adults and there was plenty of space. We were able to easily book a snorkeling excursion and a white water rafting trip. Also, a restaurant that served fresh, delicious lobster was within walking distance. We visited Arturo's restaurant several times during our stay and were continually pleased with the food quality and service. Ann and Bob were amazing hosts. They literally thought of everything. We went grocery shopping before we arrived at their condo and seriously, we should have held off because the fridge was already stocked with food ranging from eggs and bacon to delicious cheese to beer, wine and OJ. Every condiment you needed was there and every gadget to cook with was already provided. Ann and Bob did not stop there. They also provided a gorgeous fruit basket that included a lovely fruit I never had the opportunity to try before called mangosteen. They even gave us some fresh fish to cook. The level of comfort they provided was exceptional. When initially booking the reservation, I was concerned about having the owners on the same property. Rest assured it was a non-issue. We had all of the privacy we needed with the comfort of having Ann and Bob nearby to spoil us and answer any questions we had. They even took time to take us to a location in the mountains with beautiful waterfalls where we were able to explore and visit an authentic Indian village. The condo was perfect, the views breathtaking and Ann and Bob were wonderful hosts. Our vacation at Ann and Bob's exceeded our expectations. Staying at their place was an absolute delight and we cannot wait to come back! Thank you Ann and Bob for everything.

Better Late Than Never

Bob & Ann: I sincerely apologize for the delinquency of this review but "stuff" happens. Mark Our collective likes: being able to walk the deserted beach. The kitchen pantry was stocked very nicely and we only had to add a little here and there to fill the gaps for our meals. The fruit was ridiculous. SOOO much. The unit is comfortably furnished to include the kitchen gadgets, furniture, towels, hair dryer, soap, etc. It is true all you need are a couple pairs of shorts, tee shirts, swim suit, flip flops and a tooth brush. The doggies made me happy. Ann and Bob spoke to us every morning to find out what we did yesterday and what are we doing or want to do today. They gave helpful hints to make our trip better. They made themselves scarce so we felt like we had the place to ourselves. If we needed anything, we could call on them for assistance. Ann and Bob escorted us to Boquete one day so that we could but some Geisha coffee at a discount and then visit a small coffee plantation. This was a truly out of the way trip for them and a wonderful experience for us. The Geisha coffee itself is in the eye of the beholder as for me it’s too floral in taste. Bob gifted us a variety of fresh fish to include some tuna steaks; all were cooked to perfection outside on the gas grill. Between the fish and fresh fruit and veggies one couldn’t ask for a better dining experience. We truly enjoyed our short visit and time spent with Bob and Ann. We intend to become repeat customers later on this year. Mark and Beth

THIS PLACE IS WAITING FOR YOU!!!

We are a family of 4 with kids ages 9 and 11. We are from Panama and live in the U.S. since 2006. My kids love Chiriqui, that is where my family is from and so we go there every year. We chose this place because it was near to David and because of the reviews...we had to see it to believe it! My kids told me they would just spend the day and go back to David to my mom´s house to sleep. Ha-ha, they had so much fun that stayed with us the whole 3 nights! I agree with one of the reviews when they wrote "you only need your toothbrush"...this place has everything (yes, it is true what others say about the fridge and pantry) and Bod and Ann are the greatest. As a panamanian, it makes me so proud that people like them come to retire in my beautiful country. They have an amazing house that feels like home...I got what a was looking for...to relax and enjoy our family. Thanks Bob and Ann, hope to see you again soon :)

Beautiful, relaxing vacation

We arrived as a family of 3 adults to this serene, beautiful property and found the photos did not do justice to the lovely property and stunning views. Our expectations were profoundly exceeded by what we encountered. The personal attention and true interest expressed in our comfort and safety were amazing to us. The home was beautifully furnished. We were provided a map on how to arrive which was detailed. We were oriented to the home and property, the local resources, fishing, restaurants, sight-seeing and felt so welcome. A cell phone with local access was provided. Our calls for help were welcome! The kitchen was fully stocked with plentiful delicious fresh fruit, drinks, cheese, condiments, eggs, breakfast foods, pasta and every utensil you could possibly need. Pool towels, coolers, toys, floaters were al lincluded. the lights did go out briefly --- but powerful flashlights were available and we were safe. What a beach! Enchanting and Peaceful

My daughter and I stayed at Ann and Bob's beautiful home in April. They are a great host and hostess, very helpful with everything. The apartment is spacious and decorated for your comfort. Ann furnished the kitchen with things necessary for you to cook any meal you wanted. There was more fruit than we could eat and arranged beautifully on the bar. We took side trips to Boquete, a must. Mi Jardin Su Jardin is a must see in Boquete. It is so beautiful. We saw the howler monkeys which was very interesting. We also went to Las Lajas Beach Resort. It was beautiful and we had the beach to ourselves. We are already planning a trip back to this lovely apartment. Thank you Ann and Bob for making our vacation perfect.

Paradise Found

How does one describe perfection? That morning rainbow glowing behind the pool? A fridge stocked with all our favorite foods? Ann and Bob as hosts, there when you need to ask a question or unobtrusive otherwise? A deserted beach to stroll on at sunrise and sunset? Floating on our backs in the infinity pool after dark, being reminded that there is a Milky Way? All of these and more, I think. We rejuvenated, relaxed, walked, explored and fell in love with it all. Thank you Ann and Bob (and pups Jake, Leo and Cleo) SO much for your gracious hospitality. If you have time and feel adventurous, do go up to the howler monkey rescue. Definitely worth the trip. Not too far past this entrance on the same side of the street there is a fairly substantial fruit stand that is definitely worth the stop. We bought enormous papaya and watermelon so luscious and inexpensive, and ice cold coconut, popped open for us to drink on the spot (a whopping 20 cents a piece!) Thank you so much for helping us have a perfect vacation! .

Chillen out in Boca Chica

I was going to write this review before I left, but we were having too much fun! My husband and I just spent 16 nights in paradise. Following a long day of travel, we arrived late in the evening to welcoming hosts. Bob and Ann made us feel right at home immediately. Bob, let me call my Mom in the States and then handed me the cell phone to use for the rest of our stay. When I opened the fridge, I about fainted! It was so well stocked with all sorts of goodies and a huge tray of fresh fruit. Top that off with a bottle of rum, we headed straight for the pool. Not before checking out our beautiful villa. It was so so pretty and immaculate. Beautifully done and furnished with comfy white leather sectional in living area. Bathrooms were lovely, large rain showers that we enjoyed. I bathed with the parrots flying by my window every morning. It is true the pictures in really can't describe what stunning views you will see. Loved the large terrace, where we spent every morning with fresh goodies and coffee. We grilled out most evenings, on very easy to use, state of the art, gas BBQ. Our favorite were Lobster Tails, skewered (so the tails don't curl) and dipped in butter n garlic, YUMMM. They have tons of pineapples growing, in addition to others fruits growing on the property. The palm trees are much bigger now than the pics indicate. We lived in that pool. It is beautiful. I swam laps everyday to beautiful music and birds coming in for a sip of water. Did I mention, lots of birds to see. Our favorites were the parrots they looked like flying emeralds. Probably one of the highlights of our trip, was the day trip out to Isla Bolanos! As close as you are going to get to Tahiti! Fabulous day, and snorkeling was a huge success. Day trip to Boquette a must, we toured the Tuesday market and then to "Rocks" for lunch, fabulous meal, by the river. We met very welcoming people all around and some ex-pats in and around Boca Chica. So we already have friends to see, when we come back. And we will be back! I would recommend this charming location to everyone. We just couldn't have asked for a better vacation. Or for that matter better host's than Bob and Ann! I miss their doggies too. Fabulous Vacation in Panama

We planned this vacation for almost a year and it certainly exceeded our expectations. We spent four weeks here and couldn't be more pleased. Bob and Ann were wonderful hosts. When we arrived they were eager to show us the apartment. It is clean, so white, and comfortable. We were delighted with the full bowl of fruit that awaited us in the kitchen and pleased to find the refrigerator fully stocked --- more than enough for the first days there. Bob and Ann live on the property and, yet, we felt we totally had our privacy at all times. The pictures do accurately reflect the rental's appearance and amenities. The pool was beautiful and the view from the balcony was breathtaking every single day. The stairs to the beach are very well made and make the trip to the beach easy. Finding sand dollars on the beach every day was one of the highlights of the trip!! The beach also is scattered with beautiful colored rocks and pebbles. And what sunsets! We made it a habit to see the sun set each day and the sunsets were amazing. One of the special things that Bob and Ann have for their guests is a book that lists all the activities to do in the area. This was most helpful as we planned a few "road trips" to see more of the country. We traveled weekly into David (about fifty minutes) to get groceries. Bob and Ann usually went to David once a week as well and always asked us if we would like them to pick up something for us. The restaurant that they recommended between Boca Chica and Panama City is beautiful. I would recommend that guests would fly into David. The drive from David to Boca Chica is easy and allows for more time spent at the location. We travelled also to Boguete --- a great day drive I would highly recommend --- and be sure to stop at the locally owned book store along the way. The beach at Las Lajas is another place to visit--Only a short drive from the house, great restaurant (fish and chips are wonderful). Bob and Ann describe the beach as long enough to land a 747 and it's true. The apartment has a great library of movies, books, games, and music. This area is famous for its backpacking if that is an interest of yours. If you are looking for a place to really "get away from it all" this is the place. We would highly recommend this property. Hospitality--excellent. Property -- excellent. Would we go back? Absolutely, we are already looking at the calendar to re-book for next year!

The most incredible place for an even more incredible vacation!

We just returned from a weeklong vacation in Panama, staying with Bob and Ann. It was so fantastic, we have already booked our vacation for next year. I'm not sure I can add anything more to what has already been said but each and every review on this site it totally correct. Seriously, all you need is a toothbrush. We laughed as we repacked our suitcases yesterday, seeing all the clothes we never wore. We lived in bathing suits and flip flops. A couple bathing suits, a few tops and shorts are all you need. Flip flops are a must around the pool as the tile does get a bit warm. But everything else is there....pool floats, swim/beach towels, coolers, kitchen necessities, spices, everything. But what is most incredible is the warmth and hospitality of Bob and Ann. Due to some travel challenges, we arrived a day late. Bob kept in constant contact with us to make sure we were ok. Upon arrival, we were greeted with big hugs, quickly helping us unload our bags and then offering us some fresh fish caught by Bob (tuna and dorado) for us to cook that night. Their kindness and concern was greatly appreciated. The kitchen was stocked with some "get started" supplies for breakfast which lasted most of the week for us. And make sure you visit Lourdes for dinner. Each morning, we would watch Arturo walk out to his boat for his day on the water. We had dinner there several times, enjoying the pescado and langostas with pataconis. We had grand plans to travel around a bit to see more of Panama, but we were so enthralled with Bob and Ann's, we never left! That means we have some excursions to look forward to! Here are a couple of other items.....beds - very comfortable! WIFI - excellent and great speed. The water is excellent. Exceptionally clean. Beach - lots of it and practically deserted...we walked it one morning and we were the only people on it. Each night has an incredible sunset. And the star gazing is awesome. All in all, this place is magnificent. Thank you Bob and Ann. We can't wait to see you next year.

The Trip of a Lifetime

We have just had the wonderful, good fortune of spending over 2 weeks with Ann and Bob at their beautiful ‘get-a-way’ on Playa Hermosa. I found their web-site the prior June when I was searching for a place to stay while in Panama. We actually flew to Panama City and rented a car, so had a chance to see the countryside of Panama on our way there. When I saw how beautiful their property was, I was ‘hooked’ and just had to go see for ourselves. And believe me: “the pictures do not do it justice” as it is even lovelier than it appears. Every word you read in people’s reviews is not in the least exaggerated; in fact everything is exactly as described, only better. The one thing that is more beautiful than the property itself, are the owners themselves! They are truly sincere, caring, thoughtful and loving folks. Not only do they offer up their home to use as your own, they make you feel that ‘it is your own’. There is everything and more than you would have in your own home, and all for your own use. It makes that huge difference that is unlike any hotel or villa that we’ve ever stayed in. There should be more than a five star rating for accommodations such as yours M&M Summerfield! But above all, I believe it is the people themselves that put their rating ‘over the top’ for us. There is so much to do and see from this location too, as others have stated. We found the locals to be very friendly and helpful, and we did do a lot of driving around to view the different areas. The mountain drives were awesome; we were amazed by the different terrains in all the areas. Even the ocean boat trips were so amazingly different than what we have seen before. All just so lovely! Not only did we see all of this, but we were able to see Howler monkeys in their own free habitat, the Miraflores Locks in the Panama Canal, and, on one ocean trip, dolphins frolicking playfully. And having a marvelous huge pool and rancho all to yourselves…………who could wish for more! But there is more…….lots more! Peace and quiet and tranquility ………..whatever you wish for----it can be found here. I really am at a loss for words to properly describe this ‘totally all around wonderful place and experience. ‘ We are surely going back for at least a month next time………any less would be just too short, as these 2 weeks fairly flew by. Our most heartfelt Thanks Ann & Bob for this Big Piece of Heaven on Earth. And Thanks to God for having let me find it! Cheers!

My wife and I decided to do a 10 day/9 night stay with Ann and Bob in December, to take a little break from the cold in the upper midwest. Our stay was nothing short of amazing. You cannot ask for a better host than Ann and Bob - truly accommodating to any of our needs. They also give you the amount of privacy you need. For anyone deciding to take a trip, here are a few notes/updates that might not be reflected on this site or annsrental.com: 1. They do have wireless internet access, which was very nice. 2. If you take the 4-hour trip to a deserted island with Arturo, for some reason our trip he did not actually bring or cook lunch on the island - we boated back first, then went to his restaurant and had lunch. Not sure if we misunderstood or what happened. Still, it was a great day trip!! 3. The pictures do not do this place justice. It is amazingly beautiful, and private. Great to not deal with other tourists or large families (a la a hotel or resort). We cannot stress how amazing this place is. Thanks Ann and Bob - we will definitely plan another trip!

Honest Hospitality=Exceeding Expectations-Family of Four, Fisherman EXTREMELY Pleased

Mr. Bob and Mrs. Ann are fabulous folks! She is well qualified to teach a class on Southern Hospitality and I asked her to give our two children lessons in etiquette, hoping her British accent would stick with them! In preparation for our week-long stay, I made a list of supplies and specific food items that Ann purchased for us at PriceSmart/Costco, including Huggies Diapers & Gilette Shaving Gel. Our children, ages 2 & 5 yrs old, were so excited to find ice cream in the freezer, juice boxes and Goldfish crackers. The Summerfields welcomed our children with special gifts, DVD's and toys. Our daughter couldn't wait to see them and their dogs each morning--it was like spending the night with grandparents! There were plenty of sand toys & pool floats, beach towels & umbrellas, various cooler sizes for picnics at the beach or small snacks to take on the road. My husband went fishing with Bob a few times and caught plenty of Wahoo & Dorado, which we grilled ourselves (on a fabulous gas grill) or carried to Arturo to prepare. Ann provided a variety of seasonings, herbs, spices and sauces. The children enjoyed playing on the beach and finding thousands of live sand dollars every day! We made it home with a few of the dried ones (bubble wrap compliments of Bob). ANYTHING we needed or mentioned we would like to have was provided by the Summerfields, usually within 30 seconds of the request (batteries, nail polish, chocolate ice cream). Bob & Ann were always available but never intruded. Ann chauffered me & the children one day into the city for some shopping at the Super Rey, PriceSmart, & Department Store. We really enjoyed spending time at the nearby MONKEY LODGE. It's rainforest and natural habitat for the wildlife & botanical gardens we observed were wonderful experiences for us but especially our children (even though a monkey did bite me on the arm!). We can't wait for the direct flight service from U.S.A. into David to begin! My husband and Bob are already planning their next fishing adventure & scoping out real estate deals! We were also pleased with the quality (+ low prices) of produce and fresh fish available on the sides of the road on the PanAmerican Highway at produce stands and "fish stools" ($3 US Dollars bought us fresh pineapples, bananas, oranges, limes, bell peppers, papayas & some other produce we tried). yes, three dollars. The Summerfields made us feel very much at home and we will treasure their friendship and our memories made @ ANNSRENTAL

All have been said and I have never write an review before but now I make an exception. Bob and Ann are truly the best host we have ever had. They make you feel so welcome we have never seen a kitchen so fill up with all kind of foods and drinks. There was even ice-cream! If you were lucky enough to come across the rental opportunity DO NOT PASS IT UP! Jane and Scott's TOP TEN REASONS to stay at this EXTRAORDINARY property. (July 30 thru Aug 8th,2011) 1. The description is not one bit exagerated. 2. The rest of the reviews are spot on. 3. The apartment is comfortable, clean, well designed including a book of "everything you need to know" about the rental and things to do during your stay, not to mention a prepaid phone. 4. Unexpected pleasant surprise to find a generously stocked kitchen, if you like to cook this was the best vaction kitchen we ever stayed at. 5. The infinity pool was our afternoon guilty pleasure. A tray of cocktails and a panoramic view...priceless. 6. Rainy season....not at their house. 7. Did we mention, accommodating, accommodating, accommodating! 8. After our morning adventures we could not wait to get back to homebase where we would prepare for our afternoon of lounging in the pool, cocktails, hors d'oeuvre and friendly banter with Bob and Ann. 9. Privacy, tranquillity and remote. 10. We travel quit a bit and never had HOSTS (Ann & Bob) as kind, HONEST, accommodating and English as the Summerfields. We truley feel luckly to meet such wonderful strangers that turned out to be one of the highlights of our travel stories. We had a wonderful time and would not hesitate to recommend this rental to anyone. We are pretty particular about the places we chose to stay at when we are on vacation and this one comes highly recommended! Thanks Ann and Bob!

My husband and I stayed 3 nights in June 2011, had a wonderful & relaxing time at Ann and Bob's beautiful home. It was a perfect ending to our vacation in Panama. The apartment was absolutely wonderful, equipped with everything we needed. Ann made sure there was lots of goodies in the fridge and also a beautiful fruit basket that we enjoyed. The view from the apartment is spectacular. We really enjoyed sitting on the Patio for morning coffee and our 5 O'Clock happy hour. Ann & Bob welcomed us like we were old friends, they were great hosts, they were always available to help us with information and arrangements. The day we were leaving I noticed our rental car had a flat Tire, Bob was right there to help put the spare tire on. We highly recommend this beautiful place in paradise and we are looking forwarded to returning to Ann and Bobs in the future. Thanks Ann & Bob for making our stay very enjoyable.

My wife and I and our 5 year old daughter spent 2 weeks in June 2011 at Ann`s Rental. We enjoy travel and have stayed at all kinds of places over the years but I can truely say that our stay at Ann`s was one of the most enjoyable. My vocation is high stress, but our time at Ann`s was so peaceful, we wanted to never leave. The place is not only clean and nice and has everything one needs but their set up is so unique in that, while Ann and Bob reside on this large property, they are "invisible" in terms of one`s privacy, yet are so very accommodating when you need anything. This is what makes this place so special. Yes, the sound of the ocean, the views of the distant islands, the breezes, the birds and the monkeys all lend itself to a peaceful setting, but it is the hosts that make this place extra special. Thank-you Ann and Bob for a wonderful vacation!

My wife and I just spent 4 nights and loved every second. The guesthouse, the location, the amenities and the owners with their lovely dogs were all exceptional. We could not have asked for more. Everything in the guest house was of the highest standards. The beach and pool were wonderful and the owners were most gracious and went out of their way to make us comfortable. Highly recommend.

We recently spent 4 days at Bob & Ann's beautiful apartment. What a treat and great way to end our trip to Panama. We were able to relax while enjoying walks on the beach and exploring the local area. Bob and Ann are wonderful hosts and were there to meet your every need. The apartment is beautifully decorated and has every amenity you can think of including a full laundry room, which came in very handy after 2 weeks of traveling. We would definately recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing spot in paradise.

amazing place, amazing people

To describe this place and Bob and Ann are not humanly possible. As I write this I am staying at their lovely two bedroom apartment that is beyond words. When they tell you everything you need is here, it truly is, you will want for nothing. From the moment we arrived Bob and Ann made us feel like family and went to great lengths to make sure we were comfortable and had our every need met. That's just the owners. The place is to die for. From the moment you walk in the furnishings are wonderful, both bedrooms good sized, just steps to the pool, and the most dramatic sunsets anywhere. There is even a lovely BBQ on the patio that is great for cooking. Bob and Ann had wonderful suggestions as to what to do, where to go, and where to eat. I have totally fallen in love with this place and will definitely be back! In fact I am trying t make arrangements now to come back this year. You will not be disappointed!!!!

Comfort and Privacy with your own pool, your own beach and your own cove - No Tourists!

My husband and I, who are both in our 60's, spent the month of February at Bob and Ann's beautiful home. The apartment is very nice and comfortable with a wonderful porch overlooking the pool and cove where we ate all our meals. The porch has a nice table and 4 chairs, but Bob brought down two wicker rockers for us. They were always doing nice things like helping us get our car repaired (don't rent a car that is low to the ground due to numerous potholes in Panama), buying me a walking stick, a panamanian mumu, special body wash, a raft for the beach, shrimp from Boca Chica, groceries, mangos, or just anything they could think of to make our stay more comfortable. At the end of our month, we even had several dinners together and played Rummicube and Sequence. We saw Bob and their two dogs each morning as he cleaned the pool and then again whenever we left to go somewhere. They never intruded on our privacy, but were always available to assist us. Panama is a pretty rugged country and if you don't speak the language, it can be a real adventure. We had alot of fun traveling into the mountains to Boquette and Vulcan Baru,a coffee plantation, Cerra Punta for strawberries and cream, and a monkey reserve which we loved. We traveled by water taxi to nearby Boca Brava for lunch and to the beach resorts at Las Olas and Las Lejas (my favorite). We even took a 3 day trip up to Bocas Del Toro. We always felt very safe and if we had language problems with the locals, Bob and Ann were there to help. We usually took a day trip every other day (about 1-1/2 hours away) and returned before dark. Nearby, we had a delicious dinner at Sea Gull Cove and a so-so dinner at Gone Fishing. Both places have incredible views as do most places in Panama. Loved the lunch buffet at the Grand National in David. Panama is very different from the United States and we thoroughly enjoyed observing the ways of another culture such as herding cows down the middle of the street. We also learned to really appreciate our own country for all of its creature comforts. The Summerfield's apartment is very comparable to any of our timeshare/condo rentals in the U.S. You will not be disappointed! One more thing - it is very hot in Panama so bring only summer clothes and lots of bathing suits if you like the pool/beach. The beach is 60 steps below and has nice smooth sand where you can walk and explore around the cove in very shallow water - perfect for young children.

January at Ann's Rental

My husband and I had the good fortune to spend the month of January at Ann’s Rental on Playa Hermosa. It was a first class experience. What a treat! The apartment…more a guest house…is beautifully appointed. The online photos don’t begin to do it justice. Anything one might need was thoughtfully provided. In addition, the Summerfields stocked the kitchen with food to keep us going for days. Bob and Ann were great hosts, ever ready to provide whatever was appropriate, but always respecting our privacy. We could not have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended.

Fantastic Vacation spot

We stayed with Ann and Bob over Christmas and New Year 2010. It was a wonderful vacation my only complaint was that it wasn't long enough! The appartment was beautiful, equipped with everything that we needed and exceptionally comfortable. Bob and Ann made us feel so welcome from the moment that we drove up and went out of their way to allow us our privacy while helping us with any arrangements that we wanted to make and welcoming us like old friends into their home. The location was second to none - whether the beach, pool, birding, hiking, fishing or exploring are your thing, you can do a little of everyhing from Anns rental. I loved just sitting in the Ranchero watching the sum set on 2010 - so peaceful and beautiful. We have already told lots of friends about our find and can not wait until we can go back to see our friends Ann and Bob and to explore more of Panama - what a great country and easy to travel in. Thanks to Bob and Ann for giving us a wonderful end to 2010 and peaceful start to 2011.

Ann and Bob were excellent hosts for our downtime here in Boca Chica. We could not have asked for any better place just to chill out and enjoy nature. We used Arturo to take us on a boat ride around the islands and he put us on a beach that looked like a post card. It was nice having a stocked kitchen with snacks and breakfast items too. The fruit basket was absolutely incredible. We enjoyed Arturos restaurant and his fresh cooked fish too. Lobster dinner for $8.00, you can't beat that!

After reading all the other glowing reviews of this wonderful place I really can't add anything that wouldn't be redundant. Ann and Bob are very conscientous inn keepers and go out of their way to make sure your stay is enjoyable. And...they are very nice people. Highly recommended.

A fantastic rental! Well constructed, well maintained, well appointed. Comfortable beds, quality linens, electrical appliances, cookware, books, games, dvds. The cupboards and refrigerator are stocked with food, including spices and condiments. The pool is beautiful, the view spectacular. Ann and Bob couldn't be more helpful. Ann provided a bed for our 10 month old grandson and a birthday card and candles for my husband. There is a detailed book providing information on the apartment and surroundings. (Take a look at this before you start the oven) Everything really is even better than described on the web site. My daughter , her husband and baby came from Minnesota to visit during a very heavy rainy season . The weather at the beach was lovely with only occasional rain. I would definitely recommend this rental (and already have ).

My husband and I spend 3 days of our 12 day honeymoon at Bob & Ann's, and we wish we'd had much more time there. It was by far the highlight of our trip. Bob & Ann are a lovely couple and were wonderful hosts. Very accomodating and friendly, but also provided us plenty of privacy. The house and grounds are breathtaking, and the surrounding activities were wonderful. A "must-do" while in teh area is a visit to the Lourdes Lobster Restaurant. The ambiance is a bit rustic, but well worth it! We ate there (or ordered out) all 3 days. We also arranged for Arturo to take us to a deserted island for an afternoon (with lunch in tow). It was an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend a stay here-- you will not be disapointed!!

Great Friends and Great Times

Me and my wife along with another couple spent 4 nights at Ann's Rental and had a lovely time. There place is just as advertised with no surprises whatsoever!! Bob and Ann personally greeted us and from every moment made sure we were taken care of. They honestly do have every appliance and kitchen item you could think of and Ann even got a shaker for our Rum drinks which we enjoyed thoroughly with our days catch that we had from our fishing trip earlier in one of the days. We cooked on the outdoor grill for many of our meals and enjoyed relaxing in the lovely pool overlooking the cove with spectacular views. I honestly can't think of one thing that i can mention that is negative, but then again i have that kind of attitude!! Saludos, to Bob and Ann on a lovely time and i would totally stay with them again and soon as i can get more time from work to go play!! Great Folks and great times. Jaime & Jenny Brad & April

Rolled out the red carpet

We recently got back from staying at Bob and Ann's place in Panama. We loved it. We brought our two little girls and Bob and Ann rolled out the red carpet for us. They made sure that they had treats for the kids, got extra toys and movies for the kids to use while we were there, and even got a fun raft for the kids to use in the pool. Before our trip we were told that all we needed to bring was our toothbrush and they were right. We arrived to a kitchen full of food, soaps, toiletries, laundry facilities, and beach towels. The house is amazing. Very well kept with unbelievable views. Overall we had a great trip and Bob and Ann's house was a great home base for our activities.

Best Vacation Experience Ever

My husband and I stayed in the apartment under Bob and Ann from July 26th 2010 until August 6th 2010. We have already scheduled another visit in their calendar to bring our children back. I will never go to Costa Rica again. Panama itself has completely won us over, the great roads, American currency, much fewer tourists, and more English speaking residents, really helped to make our vacation so much more pleasant. When Bob told us we only needed to bring a toothbrush and few clothes we should have believed him. This place is completely set up for anything and everything, it felt like home after only a few hours. I am truly amazed by all the little details Ann sees to and will even be using them back at my own home! The fishing nearby is spectacular as we are avid fishermen living in the gulf coast of Texas. The little island/cove excursion was a one of a kind experience and cheap to boot. The pool is meticulously maintained with a large array of local fruits and flowers as landscaping. I can't wait to see what they look like upon our return. The practically private beach is filled with my very favorite, whole sand dollars. I also found conch shells on my first day there. Some days it did rain and we were treated to a varied library of DVD's, they really have thought of everything. We became fast friends with Cleo and Leo, their safety patrol (2 beautiful dogs). We didn't feel the need to lock any doors or windows, in all ways it counts we were truly able to relax. I will definitely share this treasure with my friends and family even as part of me wishes it were my secret to keep.

Playa Hermosa - Boca Chica Beach Front Rental

My wife and I along with our two boys really enjoyed our stay. The rental is outstanding and more than you can imagine. My wife is disabled and uses wheelchair. She really enjoyed her stay. The rental is wheelchair accessible and disabled friendly. The scenery is awesome. We loved the view from the apartment and pool. The beach was a pleasure too. We appreciate the kindness from the owners Bob and Ann. They really made a difference in the stay with their kindness and friendliness. We will definitely comeback.

My girlfriend and I stayed with Bob and Ann in early July. Their guest apartment is amazing and even nicer than the photos lead you to believe. Upon arrival, we were greeted by gracious hosts that provided a stocked kitchen, a cold drink, and more tropical fruit than we could have eaten in a week. A major plus of their home is the location on what is essentially a private cove. We spent hours walking the beaches, trying their recommended restaurants, and lounging by the infinty pool. In total, we spent 2 weeks in Panama. We both agree that the experience we had at this apartment was the best of the trip. I cannot recommend them enough.

Lobster Cove - Ann's Rentals

My husband and I stayed for 5 days in April, 2010. We enjoyed our stay immensely - Ann and Bob are very gracious hosts, the apartment is lovely - clean, spacious and well equipped (seriously, all you need is your toothbrush) and the setting is breathtaking. We particularly enjoyed the lightning storms across the bay, walking the beach every morning and just relaxing by the pool or in the privacy of the apartment. Also, we dined several times at the local fisherman's home/restaurant - the red snapper was our favorite. We came as strangers and left as friends - we look forward to visiting them again on our next trip to Panama.

A truly unique fine in Panama

My wife & I had the good fortune to book about eleven nights & fantastic days at Bob & Ann's apartment in Lobster Bay. From the moment we arrived to the minute we left Bob & Ann did everything & I repeat everything they could possibly do to make our stay as pleasurable & memorable as possible! I truly do not know what else they could have given us or provided us that would have made our stay more memorable! I have been fortunate to have visited over forty countries in my short life & I have stayed in every habitat from a sand floor hostel cabana on the beach to truly five star hotels in the Canadian Rockies’! No proprietor, I repeat no proprietor has ever gone the extra mile (or in Panama the kilometer) that Bob & Ann did for us. My eyes were over exposed to the sun because of being out in the ocean fishing one day with Bob & Bob gave me eye drops to smooth them. I stayed out in the sun to long one day & Ann gave me a tube of sun screen to protect me the next time I was exposed to the sun! Of course that was the next day! I could tell you how great an apartment Bob & Ann have & how good of a value it is but the other reviewers have testified to those values. What I want to convey to you is the personable values that they gave us that I have never received any other place I have stayed in the world. Ann & Bob are English born & raised & they also speak Latin American Spanish. It is always a treasure when you are in a foreign country to have access to someone who speaks your native language & the language of the country you are in. They even give you a (free) in country cell phone with their personal cell phone numbers in case you have a need or problem to contact them with! If the need should arise, you have someone who speaks the native language, priceless! I had a truly great time deep sea fishing with Bob & I caught many species of fish I have never had the opportunity to catch before at a faction of the price it would normally cost to go deep sea fishing in the states. Many thanks to Bob for the great times deep sea fishing. Is Ann & Bob’s place perfect, no, but then no place is! But it not because Bob & Ann do not put force a diligent effort every day of your stay there to make so!

We had a wonderful 2 night stay here! My wife and I are currently Peace Corps Volunteers in Panamá. We live a very simple life in our community, so for us all the modern convienences were just what we were looking for! The grill, LCD TV, DVD player, internet, hot shower, washing machine, and infinity pool all got a lot of use. Bob and Ann were always there to help us with anything and having the apartment stocked with snacks and condiments was probably more appreciated than they know. The beach isn't a stunning white sand beach, but who needs to hang out on the beach when you have an infity pool? Also when the tide is you will find tons of sand dollars scattering the beach along with many other beautiful shells. Go... enjoy... relax! We'll be going back!

My wife and I stayed for six days in early February, 2010. Ann and Bob Summerfield deliver 110% of everything their ad lists. If you seek a tranquil ocean front down time you will not be disappointed. The ocean, fishing, snorkeling and sunsets were fantastic. We were not pampered but well respected in our privacy while Bob or Ann were immediately available for little questions. You can take a daily walk up the road with the most fragrant breezes and mountain views. One note-this is the Pacific ocean. It is gorgeous. Tidal ranges are larger than the Carib but no problem if you know this in advance. There is no evident tidal current that is dangerous so that didn't appear as a problem. It certainly did not interfere with our activities. We brought OFF but never used it. Of course the time of year and the fact that we didn't go in the bush accounts for some of that(same as Texas). The second bedroom is available for more than two in your party. We are going to so rub it in to our dear friends who didn't accompany us. Although we arrived by bus from Panama City ($11.22 per person for an AC/TV 6 hour ride stopping at the road to Horcacitas, most people would like local transportation. The local taxi is available. The local Panamian people were very kind, helpful and respectful. We felt very safe and secure in our ventures during our stay. You might think, why am I discussing the setting and not the facility. The simple reason-the facility is breath taking and very well executed. Everything was first rate and worked. Would we go again? Absolutely.
