  We just got back from a vacation in Key West over the New Year's Holiday! We really enjoyed this townhome! It had more amenities than we expected: beach towels, washer/dryer, kitchen fully stocked with appliances, dishes/glasses/silverware, etc., lots of bath towels, pillows, super nice closets with lots of shelving..Loved the electric grill for cooking steaks outside. Best of all, this was a super clean townhome which I really appreciated! Bathroom was spotless! Dale and Joyce thank you! Also, thanks so much for the list of suggestions! We tried quite a few of the eating places, in addition, to finding a few on our own from Trip Advisor. Be sure and eat at Blue Heaven, Paseo's, and Sarabeth's. Even the Sunset Pier on Mallory Square had good drinks and food!

  D and J, Thanks for allowing us to rent your lovely townhouse. What a wonderful property. We felt right at home from the minute that we arrived. Very quiet and friendly location. A quick walk to Duval Street and all the activities of Key West. Thanks too for all the suggestions on places to visit and restaurants to dine at. Wonderful food everywhere we went. Great music too. You were right, we didn't need a car! Thanks again for a wonderful first visit to the Keys! R and B

  How great to walk out of our house with just our clothes and personal things and walk into this beautiful townhouse and not need to ask for anything for our entire stay. It was so nice not to waste a whole suitcase for beach towels like we have done at hotel stays. Very clean and beds are very comfortable. Close to everything, we walked almost everywhere. The Truman Annex is a very unique and peaceful neighborhood. Owners are really great to deal with and gave us a bunch of helpful tips for enjoying our keywest trip!!!

  A belated but very heartfelt review of our late-May stay. The owners were wonderful to work with - offering help and advice before we even committed to renting. The location was perfect - this was our first trip to Key West, so I just kind of narrowed down an area that included the Truman Annex and I would not stay anywhere else next time (and there WILL be a next time). The unit itself was everything we wished for - clean, spacious, well-appointed, and everything in working condition. We are a family of five - parents and three older teens, and everyone had plenty of room. The owners have things there you can use (beach towels, chairs) thus avoiding having to pack or buy when you get there. The Truman Annex is so clean and safe, and convenient to everything - we walked everywhere and did not have to worry about having drinks with dinner, since we were not driving. The only negative was the inconsiderate inhabitants of the units directly next to us - apparently they thought they were the only guests in the town and either didn't own or could not read clocks - loud and obnoxius until all hours of the night. But that can happen anywhere and a final fierce reminder from this petite little gal at 4:32 a.m. did shut them up!

  Owner response: I'm so sorry for the noisy neighbor,I wish you had called me during the visit, there is a 24/7 security guard in the annex (for those of you reading this even if you don't rent from me!!) they will come down and address the noise or 911 really gets there attention! guess I better put that # on my things to do list that I send with the keys,But I'm so glad you had a good time otherwise,please call again Dale and Joyce

  We recently returned from a 7 day trip to KW, and there is nothing we would change about where we stayed. Hotels in the area are VERY expensive, and they nickel and dime you for everything. This townhome was IDEAL in every way. It was a close walk to everything, it was clean, it was quiet, it was affordable, there was a pool, wi-fi, cable, and all the comforts of home. The owners were extremely helpful leading up to our stay in making recommendations on where to buy groceries, what to do, etc. When we return to KW, we will certainly rent a private home, and we'd definitely rent this one.
