Beautiful, relaxing home away from home.

When you step inside the door of Gloria's place you immediately feel at home. It is spacious and well appointed with charming decor that while it is clearly high end,it does not make you feel that you can't touch it. Gloria gave us an infomative tour of the house and yard and also left us with a great notebook loaded with all the facts we needed to run the home and it's appliances. She also had nunerous brochures from many attractions and resturants in the area in the book also. There is a TV in every room for couch potatoes and a delightful sound system with many CDs to listen to. We are a musical family and a few of us took advantage of the beautiful baby grand piano in the living room. But mostly, we spent time sitting out by the beautiful pool and watched the tide go in and out and caught glimpses of dolphins as well as many varieties of waterfowl. There was one special Blue Heron named George who came and drank from the pool every day and then had a staring contest with us until he got bored with having his picture taken and being talked to by the weird people from Michigan who never saw a Blue Heron that close before. My Daughter and Son-in-law rented a kayak from a local rental place and with only a little bit of effort got the kayak into the water by the dock ladder and paddeled around the waterway. They saw a sea cow and a sting ray over by the sand bar across the way and got up close and personal with some flying fish. The less adventurous of the group swam in the lovely pool which was nicely heated by solar heat and enjoyed the pictures they took. We did not use the hot tub which Gloria warned us was expensive to heat and did not miss it at all. You don't need a hot tub in 80 degree weather after all. Back to the amemities in the house. The kitchen is big, beautiful and if you feel inclined to cook it has just about any appliance you would need as well as a good variety of condiments, staples and spices both provided by Gloria and left by other renters. We also took advantage the the nice grill on the patio. All Gloria asked is that we replace the propane tank if we used it up, which we did, and she reimbursed us for the cost. The bedrooms and baths are comfortable and spacious and linens, towels and paper products and soaps are provided and there is a washer and dryer there for your use. I speak for all five of our group when I say we had a lovely time in this beautiful home away from home and hope to return in the future.

The house was exactly as described and more. Great location, great view, and easily accessible. We visit the Clearwater area every year for spring break and have always rented a home and this by far exceeded our expectations. This home had everything we needed for our stay. Gloria was very helpful and ensured we had everything we needed for our stay and went above and beyond to help us with accommodations for our waverunner trailer. We stayed in the bay on our waverunners most of the time and the ease of docking was by far the best. The smile on my son's face as dolphins swam along side of our waverunners and played was priceless!!! We couldn't of asked for a more relaxing and enjoyable vacation and view. We hope to return next year!!!! Thanks again for inviting us into your home.

Lovely, relaxing vacation home

Our family of five stayed here for our spring break '13. Gloria met us upon arrival and explained all the necessary details of her house. She was most accommodating to our questions and requests! The house itself is lovely and has everything you could think to need! It is located in a quiet neighborhood on the inland water way. The view is so peaceful, and the sunsets are beautiful. There are many good restaurants nearby and a grocery store and Walgreens, too. If you like the beach, Sand Key Park is nearby. As Gloria will warn you if you choose to use the gas to heat the hot tub, it is expensive. We were stunned by the actual cost of heating it one time. My advise is to heat it to a comfortable soaking temperature of 80-85 degrees. Then turn the heat off.

Exceptional home in a beautiful setting

This home was perfect for our family of five. There was more than ample space for us, and we appreciated the high quality furnishings and the kitchen that was well stocked with dishes and utensils. The sofas, chairs and beds were all comfortable and in excellent condition (including the outdoor furniture). The dishwasher was so quiet we could run it any time. The solar heat system for the pool was effective and kept the pool warm enough to swim in despite some cooler days; no additional gas heating was needed. We spent a lot of time outdoors enjoying the gorgeous view and watching the birds and dolphins. The owner, Gloria, was a pleasure to deal with, friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful vacation in your home, Gloria, and hope to return again some day.

My Family and I really enjoyed this home. The view of the pool, spa, dock and water was just beautiful. It was so nice to sit with coffee on the dock in the morning and even watch dolphins swim by! Great location, beautifully set up, nice and quiet, and Gloria the Owner was a pleasure to deal with. We hope to come back one day soon!

We're finishing up a week's stay in Gloria's beautiful house and my only complaint is that we aren't staying longer.. The house is beautifully decorated, the kitchen is well stocked and the bed sleeps great. Gloria was a pleasure to work with and I look forward to coming back in the summer so we can enjoy the pool everyday.

Beautiful Home in Largo, Fl

What a beautiful home and location to have a wonderful relaxing enjoyable vacation at. From the moment you walk in you are welcomed to an open floor plan with a exceptional view of the pool and the bay. We enjoyed the house and all the wonderful amenities it came with, exceptional directions on how to run, turn on or off the heated spa and pool. Gloria is very wonderful to work with and she soon feels like family. We rented a boat and went sightseeing to see all the beautiful homes along the waterways, and also found good places to eat as well. We enjoyed coming back to the house every evening and getting into the pool and watching the sunsets. It had all you could want and more, will be coming back for sure:)

We loved your house. We spent most of the time by the pool or on the dock. We met George the heron that stops by for a leisurely visit. We really enjoyed watching him walk around the pool like he owned the place! Your house was very elegant yet very comfortable. It met all our needs. We can't wait to come back.

I would highly recommend this property for a holiday. It was spotlessly clean with everything you could need for a wonderful holiday. The location was wonderful, we were able to eat on the jetty watching dolphins swim by. The owner was most helpful and the whole family adults and children were very sad to leave.

My husband and I stayed in Gloria's home with our son and another couple. This place is one of the most peaceful vacation homes I've ever stayed in. I didn't want to leave the pool area, it's gorgeous! We caught fish from the dock, had coffee with the dolphins every morning and we seen manatee also. The house has everything you need plus more and Gloria was very helpful. I would recommend this house to anyone. If we ever go back to the Clearwater area I will stay again! Thank you Gloria!

Best Place Ever

We had a wonderful stay at Glorias house. The pictures do not do it justice. The floor plan is so open & roomy. Theres room to have dinner & sit a very large family. The bedrooms are super comfortable. The view/ backyard is excellent. My kids fully enjoyed the beautiful pool & hot tub. And we fished off the back dock. We saw Dolphins & manatees off the dock. The house had all the amenities you can think of. We had cookouts & enjoyed lots of family time there. Gloria is very organized & theres a book at the house detailing everything you'd need to know about the house & the area. Gloria had great attention to detail & was a wonderful person to deal with. My family & I would 100% rent from her again.

Gloria, THANK YOU SO MUCH for allowing my wife and I the honor of renting your house for a vacation. The pictures and description doesn't do justice nor even come close to actually seeing your place. From the minute we walked in to the minute we left, we felt AT HOME. Your attention to every detail was noticed in this house. While planning our trip we had decided on places to see and eat, but once we arrived, those plans were replaced to staying by the pool or sitting on the dock. And what a relief to know all we had to purchase were our food...everything else was supplied. And when we did venture out, we didn't have to travel far to sight see!! Hopefully, the next time we come down, AND THERE WILL BE A NEXT TIME, very soon, we will also get the opportunity to meet you as well. (Hope your vacation was half as good as ours was there!!) Great escape

This is truly a beautiful home in a quiet relaxing location. We spent the week watching the wildlife (dolphins, manatee, many different species of birds and fish) from the dock and pool area. We caught a number of different types of fish from the dock using lures and bait. There are boats that pass by for those interested. The backyard/pool area is just amazing. The pool itself is larger than expected. No pictures can do this rental justice. We enjoyed every minute of our time and Gloria was wonderful to deal with. There were specific instructions for everything we needed at the house as well as detailed directions to local dining/shopping. I highly recommend this rental to those looking for a relaxing get away.

Gloria is a wonderful person with a beautiful home. The pictures do not do justice of how immaculate the property is. From our time spent on the dock fishing and watching for dolphins, to swimming in the larger than expected pool, to the comforts and convenience of the home, we couldn’t have been more delighted. Gloria’s attention to detail, such as the ironed linens, well stocked kitchen, and upgraded appliances, made us feel welcomed and pampered! The floor plan gave us as parents the space to escape, while still feeling connected with our young children. We would highly recommend this home for anyone ready to sink into comfort and luxury!

Gloria Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with us during our stay of January 2012. Within minutes of our arrival we were referring to it as "home" as in what do you want to do after dinner?...Let's stay home! My sister, two Aunts and I spent hours watching the birds out over the water, reading on the patio and visiting in the sunroom...not to mention the fabulous spa by the pool. We were impressed by your top of the line appliances, furniture and setting. We tried several of the restaurants you recommended and enjoyed them all. I highly recommend this gorgeous home to anyone visiting in the Largo area and plan on returning!

My brother and I recently returned from a week in this home and were amazed at the balance of luxury and practicality. The pictures on the site, while a good introduction, can't replicate the feeling of being there and the enjoyment of simply sitting watching the intercoastal, the birds, the fish jumping and the sense of serenity. Truly a treat for anyone who stays there. Our hosts provided a "house book" that let us know how everything worked, where to find everything in the area and anything else an out-of-country visitor might want to know. We thank them and would love to come back if time and health permit. 2 happy Canadians

We rented this stunning home for Labor Day weekend and were absolutely enchanted by Gloria, the house, the pool, the area, etc. We came for a 3 day weekend expecting to hit the beach and sightsee but ended up leaving the house only to get groceries! Immaculate, very tastefully appointed and full to the brim with amenities. Bedrooms are super comfortable with luxury touches and the saltwater pool and hot tub are the place to spend the day and night. If the opportunity presents itself, we will be back in a heartbeat. My family had a great time visiting Gloria's home. The pictures do not do the house justice! It really was a home away from home! We loved the outdoor area and the boys enjoyed fishing off the dock. The view is amazing! We enjoyed Indian Rocks Beach which was just a few minutes away and also traveled the St. Pete and Clearwater...but found First Street to be our favorite spot! The house is nicely situated with plenty of great local eateries! Highly recommend this vacation home!

Perfect Family Vacation

Our family vacation included myself, my husband, two seventeen year old boys, and my mother. The home was perfect for all ages. My husband and boys fished off the boat dock and we rented a jet ski for the week, the owner, Gloria, who was fabulous, very accommodating, had no problem with us using the boat slip. My mother and I enjoyed sitting down at the dock while the guys fished. A manatee come and visited us twice while sitting out on the dock, which was an amazing experience. Each morning, while having your coffee, dolphins swam past the dock just feet away. A Great way to start your day! The house is beautiful, very clean, and well stocked. The outside patio with the pool and spa was enjoyed by everyone after along day of jet skiing, site seeing, and coming back from one of the many beaches the house is near. The area has everything, shopping, restaurants, beaches, and site seeing. This was voted by my whole family that it was one of our best vacation.

My family rented this beautiful house for the first week of April, 2011. I have rented many vacation homes in the past and am always prepared to accept that the property probably isn't going to be as wonderful as I hope or as the pictures protray it to be. Well... this home surpassed all my expectations! Not only was it beautifully furnished and meticulously cared for, it was situated in the perfect location.The lovely backyard boasts a beautiful garden to accent the pool and water view- I was happy to just sit and gaze out at all of it! The owner was so gracious and accomodating- we couldn't ask for anything more. One morning we had a bit of a problem with the alarm system- we called the owner and she was right on it! Another point, my mother uses a walker and wheelchair. It's often a challenge finding a property that can easily accomodate her. This house had only one small stop to the outside so it worked out very well. I hope we can come back again next year- can't be a better recommendation than that, can there?!!!

We had a wonderful time at Gloria's home in Largo. The view of the bay was fantastic, the pool and hot tub were wonderful. We saw a dolphin swim by the dock on our last day! The home was lovely, as well. We enjoyed the many-headed shower and the ironed sheets, spent hours in the comfortable lounge chairs by the pool, and made good used of the well-appointed kitchen for at-home meals. Gloria was able to answer our questions quickly and made us feel at home. Thank you, Gloria!

fantastic vacation home

This is a very very nice home, spacious, well furnished, beautifully decorated and maintained. The property and landscaping are just as lovely and well kept. A fantastic home on its own. But its location is the best thing about this house. What a hidden gem! The view of the inter coastal waterway is amazing. We were entertained by dolphins and all manner of birds. We watched boats from little dinghies to big yachts go by. The sun shone on the pool area the entire time, great for the sun deprived northerners! The salt pool was wonderful. Even without a boat, we enjoyed the dock and the seating area there. The neighbourhood is very quiet, safe and friendly with no through traffic whatsoever. And yet, restaurants, shopping, groceries and the beaches are just minutes away. This is an amazing location. Gloria gave us a very welcoming tour on our arrival and helped us settle in to her fantastic home. We will most certainly recommend this property to family and friends.

FABULOUS!!!

Fantastic! Upon arrival, we quickly noticed that the home was even better than the pictures!!! The interior was meticulously clean, and we were thrilled to find nearly everything we needed was available at the home. We cooked most of our meals at home....eating outside at the table and overlooking the water beat any restaurant we could have gone to! =) Outside, the exceptional landscaping, the pool, and the relaxing view of the water, created our own little paradise--right in the back yard! We seldom wanted to leave! The back yard is also fenced in, so that made it VERY convenient with our dogs! Gloria was super-nice and readily made herself available to us for any questions that might arise during our stay. Thank you, Gloria, for your amazing vacation home! I would HIGHLY recommend this home to anyone, and I hope we can come back again sometime in the future! =)

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC - JUST WANTED TO STAY ON FOREVER....

I don't even know where to start because everything about this house is so PERFECT AND WONDERFUL. The minute you walk in you feel so at home since it's not a sterile normal rental.... And immediately you're totally captivated by the incredible view. The owner, lovely and gracious, kept trying to show us the house and all we could do is ohhhh and ahhh over the view, the pool, the hot tub, the lush landscaping and yes, finally the house, equally as stunning. At night just sitting on the porch we were delighted when all the lights turned on automatically bathing the outside in beautiful soft lights starting with each palm tree and finishing with the pool and the hot tub. There's a great Nordictrack treadmill in the master with TV in it that got good use after all the great dinners we had outside at the super comfortable outdoor dining area. Our pooches were so happy since the back yard is all fenced in so they could always be outside running and playing around with us. My husband brought his boat and the lift which lowered via remote control from the boat was a great added bonus. Sitting at the dining table and turning on the hot tub via the remote control for an after dinner dip felt soooo luxurious!!! Again, our family of four with the two pooches is definitely coming back next year.... Thank you Gloria for making your wonderful home available to us.

Lovely Space in Largo

This home has spacious, comfortable rooms and lots of windows. Located right on Clearwater Harbor with a private dock and a pool with hot tub, this is an ideal place to relax and unwind. Groceries and errands are just a few minutes away, with decent golf, shopping and dining within 15 minutes. The host/owner is very accommodating and easy to work with. We enjoyed the house and recommend it for any quiet getaway.

WOW JUST AMAZING !!!!!!!

From the moment we entered the front door until the day we had to leave we felt we were in paradise. The house was beautiful, modern, spacious, very clean. The pool area combined with the dock and the endless view and of course meeting the owner Gloria, completed the entire package. We had plans to travel to the beach, go to disney and more but from the moment we arrived all those plans were gone. If you are looking for a family vacation, relaxing and enjoying the views and sunset i highly recommend this home. All amenties, beaches, boatinig are within five minutes by car from the house. We had an wonderfull time and continue to talk about our stay with friends, we will be returning soon. Gloria, we cannot thank-you enough for this unforgetable vacation.

I stayed in this beautiful home for the whole month of August, with my husaband and two sons, and we loved it. The owner, Gloria, met us on our first day to welcome us and we were blown away by the views. The house was everything we wanted and more! It was very clean and well laid out. Gloria thought of ever little detail. Outside there is a lovely garden and amazing swimming pool, which we all put to good use. My husband and sons enjoyed fishing off the dock, they caught a different aray of fish. We also saw dolphins and manatees swim pass. The local beaches are only a short drive away, with several other beaches along Gulf Drive all the way down to Pass a grill. It is also only and hour and forty five minuites away from Disney and the other major theme parks, so you get the best of both worlds staying in this villa, beautiful beaches and Mickey Mouse! There are several supermarkets and lots of places to eat, only a short car ride away. We cant fault the house in anyway, Gloria was so friendly and helpful, we would love to return somtime. If you are looking for a perfect holiday, I would strongly recommend this stunning home.

This home was wonderful! It was very peaceful and relaxing. The view was gorgeous. We really loved the pool area and water view. Having 2 teenagers and a young adult, it was great having a TV in all the bedrooms. We hardly left during our week stay. The owner was nice and helpful. She met us at the property and and gave us all the information we needed. We would love to go back and stay longer!

Right from the beginning Gloria made me feel welcome and at home. The house itself was clean, comfortable and had everything that was needed for a perfect vacation. The outdoor area is perfect for entertaining and relaxing by the pool. An amazing paradise-like weekend from start to finish! I would definitely recommend this home to anyone and hope to return again.

Perfect for family vacation!

My family stayed here in July 2010 and we had 6 people in our group. We never felt cramped at all as there is plenty of room in the house for a group this size. The home has everything that you could possibly want or need during your stay. While the house was beautiful inside (very nice upgrades and furnishings) we spent most of our time by the pool and on the dock. This is the perfect place for kayaking and fishing. We saw dolphins on several occasions and even saw a manatee up close as it stopped beside the dock. The drive to the beach was not a problem at all as it only took a few minutes to get to the closest beach. We tried several different beaches during our stay (clearwater, sand key, indian rocks, st. pete, fort de soto park) and all were a fairly short drive. We had a great time and can't wait to return!

I had the pleasure of staying here for a week with my wife, two young boys and my dog. I could not have had a better time. The home was very inviting and very spacious. The pictures truly don't give the house justice. The pool was magnificent and the landscaping was perfect. I can't wait to stay here again next year. I also brought my boat which made the experience of staying in a home with a dock that much better. All I had to do was step in my boat and go. There are many beaches very close by especially by boat. The owner was very accommodating and very easy to work with. If you have the opportunity to stay here I would highly recommend it without a doubt!

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful oasis for a long weekend while in town for a beach wedding close by. From the instant we walked in we were overwhelmed with the views of the ocean and the gorgeous landscaping surrounding the pool and hot tub. The spacious floor plan is extremely welcoming and the common area is great for entertaining guests while cooking in the kitchen. The furniture, artwork and layout provide the perfect atmosphere for elegant relaxation. The highlight for my husband and I was sitting out on the dock with a glass of wine and enjoying the sunset. Truly paradise realize. We look forward to returning soon!!

This home was teriffic. It was spotless, clean, refreshing, welcoming, peaceful. We couldn't have asked for more. It is in a beautiful setting and close to everything we were looking for. The amenities were great - we could be together as a group or off by oneself - the house was spacious enough. We would give it the highest ratings in every way. There were 5 of us and 2 dogs - and all of us including the pooches enjoyed this home.

I have spent many glorious vacations there and it is the best. You can see both the sunrise and sunset from the dock. There are manatees and dolphins swimming around in plain sight. Truly, I call it the "Spa House" as it is so relaxing and luxurious. Enjoy!

This place was amazing! The sunsets on the dock with a glass of wine in hand was my favorite time....not to mention the owner was so accommodating and nice to deal with. I highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a nice, leisurely time in your own vacation home! Hopefully I will get there again soon!
