  My wife and I arranged a mini reunion with our son and daughter and their significant others at this beautiful home in Pebble Beach.The location is central to activities in Monterey, Carmel and Big Sur and is surrounded by the Del Monte forest with well marked trails and Pebble Beach golf courses. We had an enjoyable stay, and I have recommended this property to our friends.

  My wife and I, both retired seniors, stayed in the house for ten days. We have rented houses for our vacations and travels for many years, in the U.S., Canada and Europe. We found this house to be one of the best places we have found. There are nice art works on the wall, big windows for brightness, clean, comfortable furniture, very well equipped kitchen (although the owners could help more if they would supply spices, cooking oil etc), an energetic whirlpool bath, good temperature controls, on the deck a row of orchids with spectacular flowers, and at the back of the house deck, terrace and a large pretty garden. We both like to take strolls. During our stay every day we walked a different trail, from two to five miles, all within an hour of drive, mostly by the sea and for variety also some in the wooded hills or across meadows. Since in the past we have visited the area frequently, we are not new to these trails -- but they are trails that we never get tired of. The ten days we spent in the house and in the countryside are truly uplifting.

  A thoroughly enjoyable stay at this lovely sea view house. The property was spotlessly clean and well maintained and the description accurate regarding the location. Owners replies were prompt and informative. Would certainly recommend this property to any friend or relative.

  Very much enjoyed our stay. The weather was gorgeous, the area and neighborhood delightful! Living in the NW it was exactly what we were looking for. The house was clean and well-maintained, the owner available if we needed something. We had easy access to the entire Monterey penninsula and would stay there again.

  Several of my friends and I needed lodging for a wedding in the area, and this house suited us perfectly! It is spacious, and the master bedroom is on the other side of the house to give a couple extra privacy. I see that many older couples have found the space ideal. We are a young crew, and we loved it, too! We'll definitely consider this house if we are in need of lodging in the Pebble Beach area again.

  We stayed in this house for 4 nights and wished we could stayed longer. The house is exactly what was described in the listing and more. It is inside the 17 mile drive and in a very safe and quiet neighborhood. It is very spacious, clean and comfortable with room for all 6 of us (4 adults, 2 teenagers). The beds were very comfortable. We all slept very well and slept a lot more than at home. It is inside the Del Monte forest so it is very peaceful and quiet. It has nice views of the ocean from the living room and bedrooms. The kitchen is well equipped with all that one needs to cook a nice meal. In the mornings we enjoyed eating breakfast and watching lots of different birds in the back yard. The beach/coast area is just a short drive away. There is certainly no lack of places to go and see in Monterey. For golf, we played once at Poppy Hills which is just down the street(Or should I say the house is on the golf course? Just off the 15th green). It's a very nice course. I heard it used to be the third course for the Crosby. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back to stay here if we visit Monterey again.

  The Ocean Forest home is spectacular in every way. It's located on a quiet street, perched on a hill with a view to the west. The home is beautifully furnished, with a huge kitchen, elegant formal dining room, and two living rooms. The master bedroom suite is separated from the other bedrooms and is very private. The home is indeed in a forest, and we very much enjoyed walking on the many trails that wind through the woods. We also enjoyed walking down to the ocean. We definitely would recommend this property to our friends and relatives - and we hope to visit again soon.

  We stayed 3 nights at this beautiful house during our multi stop vacation in California. The house was almost too pretty for us. We were nervous about the white carpet. We just tried to be good about taking shoes off at the door. Overall it was a great experience and Joan was very nice to deal with.

  We really enjoyed our stay in this house. The location is perfect and the house is really spacious and comfortable. Also, the communication to arrange our visit was very good and efficient - which meant we arrived stress-free! The area offers lots to see and do, with scenery that's hard to beat. We will definitely be back some day!

  The property proved to be a perfect alternative to the somewhat mediocre & overpriced hotels available in Carmel and Monterey. If your'e considering a stay in the area that involves playing golf, I would highly recommend the property as it is located adjacent to of all of the courses within the forest. Despite only having 2.5 bathrooms, the house is large enough that all guests had their own space & privacy. The house is well equipped with all the amenities that one requires from a rental property. Needless to say, I will definitely be staying at this property in the future.
