Perfect in Palm Springs

Everythings that you could want for the perfect Palm Springs vacation - even held a couple of business meetings around the pool. Easy parking, large garage, clean, comfortable, pool and spa just amazing. Only downside was having to leave.

We stayed at George House for a week in April, and we couldn't have had a better idea when we picked this house among the hundreds that were available. The house is in a perfect location in a cul-de-sac, in a very quiet neighborhood at all times day and night. We loved the mid-century modern design in this bright and airy home, the perfectly arranged outdoor space, the many amenities and little touches here and there to enhance your stay. Not to mention the beautiful mountain views. No doubt we'll stay there again as soon as we possibly can, the overall value is outstanding. Nous avons réservé cette maison pour un séjour d'une semaine en Avril 2011, et de toutes celles que nous avions déjà eues à Palm Springs, c'est la plus sympa ! Environnement super calme mais à 5 minutes du Downtown à peine, maison magnifiquement rénovée de style années 50 de Palm Springs, lignes épurées, luminosité, beaux volumes de vie, superbe jardin avec vue incroyable sur les montagnes, cuisine équipée au top, lits de grand confort, atmosphère minimaliste zen super reposante. Un vrai bonheur, et nous y reviendrons à la première occasion. Merci Carol !

Almost Perfect

My girlfriends and I stayed at George House in mid December for a birthday celebration. The house is very close to shopping centers which was quite convenient. It's also great for entertaining. There were six of us staying there and it was plenty of space. The living and dining rooms have a nice open floor plan and the back yard is AMAZING! The floor plan is wonderful and the back yard seems like an extension of the living room. On top of all that, the owner was really nice and very helpful. My only suggestion would be that they turn on the pool heater prior to guest arrival so that it has sufficient time to heat up. Although we paid for the pool to be heated, we could not use it because it did not heat up enough (we were only there for a short weekend). We did however use the jacuzzi and enjoyed every minute of it! I will definitely stay again! Thanks for letting us rent your beautiful house.

Perfect Mid-Century Getaway

Our family stayed at George House in late July and enjoyed every moment of the 116 degree heat wave in this perfect Mid-century home. The home is just as pictured, uncluttered with beautiful decor, clean and comfortable linens, furniture, appliances, and fully equipped kitchen. We'd planned many activities but opted instead to relax in the outdoor lounge, swim in the pool and cook most of our own meals. The neighborhood was quiet, and close to all that kept us comfortable: RedBox, Trader Joes, Starbuck's, Cardenas Market, awesome mid-century vintage shopping, and central Palm Springs. We also enjoyed use of the home's WiFi. Communication with the owner was excellent before, during, and after our trip. We travel often, and this home was the central point for one of our best family trips yet. We wholeheartedly recommend this property for a jaunt to Palm Springs, and can't wait to return.

This is a little jewel, particularly distinguished by the exterior living space (in Palm Springs, what matters more?). The patio/pool/hot tub are absolutely magical at night - great landscape design and lighting...heaven for entertaining. The house itself is chic and comfortable and well-equipped. If you appreciate the mid-century aesthetic, George House provides great value and a wonderful desert lifestyle experience.
