  My wife and I decided to take a vacation to Roche Harbor and it was the best vacation I have been on. The place is truly the most beautiful spot I have ever been to. You can go whale watching, kayaking, hiking or just sit out on the deck of this condo that is very warm and comfortable. I definitely want to come back soon.

  I was lucky enough to rent this condo recently. I had a wonderful time. The walk to the hotel and boats is very short. I found the unit very comfortable for 4 of us. I was able to book a boat trip and kayak trip for all of us through the resort. The food at the resort was fine. My only suggestion would be to bring more of my own food. The kitchen at the condo really has everything. We hopefully can schedule this for the same time next year. It is a great find. The Nelson's

  I took my whole family to Roche Harbor for vacation and had the best vacation that I have ever had. Roche Harbor is the most beautiful place to go. It has wildllife, orcas, fox, fishing, hiking and peacefulness. The condo is light and bright and has a great view and the view from the deck is the best. We will definately come back.

  I had the pleasure of working with the owners of this condo during our week long vacation this summer. I found the owners very easy to communicate and a pleasure to deal with. The Island is charming, the view Beautiful and the condo to offer reasonable, clean accommodations. I would definitely rent again next summer when we make a return visit to the San Juan Islands. Thank you for allowing us to rent your condo and helping make our visit memorable!

  First let me say that this is a good location to stay when in Roche Harbor. The condo has a beautiful view of the harbor/lagoon. From the deck we spotted wildlife including deer, an eagle and seals. The unfortunate issue involving our visit was that there was an error in the booking of our dates which overlapped with another traveler's stay. This issue resulted in our trying to find last minute accommodations elsewhere on the island for the evening (not an easy nor cheap task during peak season). The owner was apologetic and ultimately was able to mitigate a resolution. As for the description of the condo on VRBO, "2 Bedrooms + Loft + Office, 2 Baths" this isn't correct. There is a bedroom which is the master that has a master bath attached. There is then the kitchen/breakfast nook, the second bathroom leading off of a living room and a spiral staircase to a loft. I guess the loft is what is considered the second bedroom though it is open to the living room below. I have no idea where the office in the description would be located in this condo. The fireplace mentioned in the description had a sign attached stating it was not to be used. With the existing description one might expect this condo to actually contain 2 bedrooms + a loft with additional bedding. It is my mistake in making this assumption. Ultimately, the two nights we stayed out of the three booked were very pleasant. There is much to do when exploring San Juan Island and its natural beauty and history. Just be sure to have all your ducks in a row when booking your travel.

  Owner response: My response to the above customer is as follows: There are some people that no matter what you do you cannot please them. This was an honest mistake and when it happened I spent at least 30 minutes rebooking this young gentlemen so he would have a place to stay on a very busy and 100% booked weekend. He did stay in my condo for the balance of weekend and I did not hear from him until he got home and decided he should have a one half refund. I gave him the refund he wanted and cancelled the cleaning deposit which he had complained about from the beggining of his booking so I am sure he was determined to get most of his money back and again I did everything I could to make him happy but again you cannot please everyone.

  Had a wonderful time at beautiful Roche Harbor and enjoyed our stay at this condo. Owner is very nice and easy to work with. Three adults, a teenager and younger one our group. Bedroom with its own bath is very nice. Three of us slept in the loft area. Four could sleep there very comfortably. Beds all had really good comfortable mattresses and pillows. Nice deck facing harbor with table and chairs. Would recommend for couple, family or group up to 6.

  We love this condo, clean, lots of light, comfortable, great location-walk to everything, nice deck and most of all it is very quiet and peaceful. The owner is very nice. We will be back, the perfect place to stay at Roche Harbor !!
