  We rented this property to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary with our family. It met our needs completely. We had a wonderful time in the beautiful pool and with small children the lounge or baby pool was great. There were no "bad" surprises. We highly recommend this beautiful house.

  We stayed at Phil & Peggy's home at the end of June with a group of college friends and their families (all children under age 5). The house was everything we hoped it would be! Spacious and with no detail overlooked, the house is perfect for any large group gathering. The views from the back porch are not to be missed at sunset. Even when we encountered an issue or two with the house, Phil and Peggy resolved it immediately and beyond our expectation. I can't say enough good things about this beautiful home in Wimberley. We'll be back!

  Didn't want to leave, we had so much fun on Memorial weekend 2012. 6 professional couples spending 3 nights together all in our late 20's-30's. The parents left the kids at home for this weekend but the house is great for families too. The house is set up great. It sits on a very private multi acerage lot with views of the hills. Lots of room for everyone to have their space with the 6 bedrooms. All of the rooms are comfortable. Their are essentially two master bedrooms, I stayed in the second master with my wife after the group had a lottery for room choices. Our room had a comfortable king bed with clean, expensive bedding. I slept great. We had a private bathroom also. The Master is great too. The other bedrooms had queens and shared bathrooms. The kitchen was a great space to cook in. Plenty of silverware, pots, pans, etc. We cooked here for breakfest and dinners, meals for 12 were a piece of cake. The outdoor kitchen and gazebo area was equally awesome. I grilled 3 times and it was easy. Bring your own propane. Big grill. Great area to hang out. Their are two large friges and a small ice maker in the house. The living room is open with great views and comfy couches, big tv. Their are two tables so 12 people can eat in the dining area inside. Outdoor facilities are better than inside. The porch is so awesome. They have 12 man sized rocking chairs and a couple tables. Surround sound everywhere. Our group spent the most time just hanging out on the back patio. The view is so calming and I really felt at ease. So relaxing and a welcomed release from the hussle of corporate america. The pool was our daily hangout, lots of lounge chairs and a shallow pool for relaxing. The pool is securely gated so it would be safe for little kids. Pool was cleaned twice upon me calling requesting it to be cleaned due to a pump backing up. They responded immediately, couldn't ask for more. The jacuzzi was clean. The fire pit is great, bring your own wood. I used the sauna and it worked well. Just finding the starter under the heater was tricky. Simply a great house. Our entire group of picky, well traveled couples all agreed that they would come back. That's a miracle. It is worth the money. 4 Star accomodations. Lots of good food and wine equals fine time. You won't leave the house! Finally, I would like to express my thanks to the Collins for being such responsive, helpful and friendly owners. This is the best rental in the area. I hope to come back.

  Phil & Peggy, What a magnificent home. We loved the openess and views. Nothing like sitting on the back porch in the early AM looking over the valley or by the pool in the evening star gazing. So quiet and peaceful. A perfect getaway. Thanks a million.

  We had a fabulous time in your beautiful house. We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary. The grandkids loved the pool and the pool table. The game table worked great for a round of Mexican dominoes, but the highlight of the time was rocking on the back porch and watching the pigs, deer, hummingbirds and assorted birds. It is a beautiful vista and we appreciated the peacefulness. The Wimberley family.

  We're from Allen (Tx), and needed a 'home base' for us & visiting family from Canada during the week of our daughter's wedding in Kyle (Jan. 7th,'11). Rim Rock Lodge was THE PERFECT place for us to be together! Phil & Peggy have thought of everything! When we arrived, the house was immaculate! Plenty of kitchen supplies, towels, and of course, ambiance here and the view was spectacular! Although we didn't have a chance to take advantage of the sauna, hot tub or pools, we all thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the back porch during the unseasonably 'warm' evenings. Beds were SO comfortable, unlike some hotels where we've stayed! Thank you Peggy and Phil, for such a memorable week. We'd definitely love to come back some time soon!

  My husbands 8 siblings and his parents flew in from all over the US to surprise him for his 60th birthday. What an amazing place for all 12 of us to stay and party for 3 nights. A photographer came out and took great shots of all 11 of us with the gorgeous hill country in the background. This was the experience of a lifetime. Thank you for providing everything that we could imagine.
