  Love to comb the beach and this one was one of the best. At low tide we could walk forever. This was by far the best "on the beach" stay we have had in all our travels. The unit was just as described, clean, comfortable and stocked as expected. One of the best features of our stay was meeting Silvard and Barbara. They were very helpful in making suggestions for dinner and sightseeing. They were also perfect hosts - there when you need/want them and less visible if you want privacy. WE wish them all the best with their future plans to enhance the experience with additional outside amenities.

  My wife and I spent two weeks here and I can only second my friend Andrew's review of our stay here. Everything was excellent and our hosts outstanding people. The sea breezes make air conditioning mostly unecessary. Very quiet and peacful with all necessities a short distance away. Thank you Silvard and Barb.

  First class, new, beach-front accommodation, centrally located for day-trip exploration of west-central Panama - beaches, mountains, canal zone, Panama City, potential residential areas. Cleanest, best-maintained place we have ever stayed. On-site host and hostess with excellent knowledge of local attractions, local shopping, best restaurants, etc. Highlights were the Saturday morning tidal-pool walk & biology class, and Saturday evening piano concert. We highly recommend this property to couples looking for quiet relaxation, or couples looking for a comfortable base from which to explore different Panamanian residential opportunities.

  This was one of the highlights of our trip. Silvard played a concert for us and his wife was charming. The rental was clean, comfortable and had all the kitchen essentials. We loved the secluded beach. Looking forward to returning in a year.

  It must be Paradise! But no, it is Silvard, his piano, and his magical home above the surf. I will definitely be back. Being picked up at the airport in Panama City by Silvard is a big plus and my hosts could not have been more cordial...from trips to the grocery store to information about the flora and fauna and sealife found in that beautiful environment. My suite was lovely and charming with lucious views of sand and waves. I used the AC only once during my stay since the ocean breezes were more than adequate. Five stars for accommodations and surrounding sea with appropriately breathtaking sunrises and sunsets viewed from the balcony not to mention the afternoon flights of pelicans winging their way back and forth in search of breakfast or supper. Just a fantastic place to stay and experience Panama´s Pacific Coast. And convenient for touring the hills and on to Coiba National Park, etc. and points north.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

  What a vacation! Far exceeded our expectations. The beach is quiet, pristine, natural and perfect for both exploring, walking, and relaxing. The property is beautiful and I can't wait for the pool to be completed. Barbara and Silvard were warm, inviting and helpful. They helped to arrange tours, recommended great restaurants, and invited us to local activities in the area. We can't wait to go back.

  We rented for a week in February of 2011 for our first trip to Panama. The place is great and will only improve as the owner realizes his vision. Here are the bullet points: Location - Excellent. Literally right on the beach. Not too far from Panama City (a little over an hour depending upon traffic). Good neighborhood overall. Other tourist stuff within a reasonable drive. Two groceries within 10ish minutes' drive that met all day-to-day shopping needs. Good restaurants nearby. Photos - Very representative of the location. Condition - The interior is in excellent shape and very tastefully decorated. The kitchen is adequately equipped for our cooking needs (cheaper/easier to cook a nice breakfast than going to a restaurant) but access to a grill would have been nice. On the exterior, the sea wall had collapsed the day we arrived. The owner had a crew working on it immediately. Owner - He was on-site full-time and couldn't have been nicer during what I'm sure were very trying times for him. In fact, one evening he played a little piano concert for us. There were no hassles with payments. Comfort - The bed was good. The sitting room was comfortable. The bath is very nice with a walk-in shower. The patio is heavenly and even has a ceiling fan. Highly recommended!

  I'm a 26 years old married Panamanian woman. I love nature and peaceful gateways and I will definitely recommend people to visit these suites. My husband and I stayed in the middle room (Studio) for one night. We were impressed with how well equipped and nicely furnished it was. Thanks to the kitchen we were able to prepare hot chocolate and our own breakfast the next morning. The place is very quiet and peaceful and the portion of the beach in front the rooms remains almost empty. A public access to the beach is near the property, but, people tend to gather in the widest section of the beach which is considerably far away, and there is another entrance there. When in low tide the beach is perfect for walking. I collected some beautiful sea shells and watched small crabs moving through the sand. The surface of the beach is very flat so you have to walk a lot into the sea to find the appropriate depth for swimming. Unfortunately the low tide exposes rocks, and you could hurt your feet while walking into the sea, so I suggest to wait until the high tide because it will be deep enough for swimming before reaching the strip of rocks. We found that recently a heavy storm made cracks on the fences facing the sea of these and nearby houses. Although, the owner still works to repair the damage it didn't keep me from having a wonderful time.

  We stayed here for our honeymoon and were very pleased with this apartment. Everything is new in the apartment; it is comfortable, nicely furnished and decorated. The owners are so kind and helpful; they treat their guests very well. We enjoyed the beach, the peaceful atmosphere, the fresh breeze, and relaxing environment. The ocean could constantly be heard even from inside the apartment. There are 2 big grocery stores and really good restaurants about 20 minutes from the apartment. It is also very close to the entrance to El Valle de Anton which is also good for a day trip. We really recommend this lovely place and hope to return again.
