  We found this location through vrbo.com, but that in turn lead us to the property manager, Boutikia. I really want to give them a positive review... They were so helpful in ensuring that the location we chose was perfect for our needs. They were so responsive - when there were a few minor issues, they were right on top of it. They responded immediately and helpfully. The property is older, so it is a little worn but it was clean and neat and perfectly located. We took great advantage of the kitchen facilities and the washer/dryer. We highly recommend Saha and The Big 4, two fantastic restaurants in the neighbourhood. Also, half a block away was a very friendly variety store (wine and beer and chips!) but also Trader Joe's about two blocks away. It was overall a super experience. Would definitely go back.

  We had a wonderful stay at Nob Hill apartment. The location is perfect, you can walk to Union Square and shops there. We rented a car and booked a nearby garage via Boutikia which worked out really good. The carage was conveniently located at California St. If your have a larger vehicle, drive down to lever 3 or 4 - more space down there. The apartement is nice and spacious and has three good size bedrooms. There is a fourth bedroom also, quite small, but ok. The apartment is on a very steep hill and you have to climb quite a few stairs to get to the apartment. Didn't disturb us, but good to know when you make the booking if you have trouble climbing. We're glad we made the booking through Boutikia, since they solved the few questions we had very quickly. Very good and quick service! It was nice to live in an apartment instead of hotel. Overall a really nice stay!

  The property was "pretty much" what I was expecting from the photos and the description on the website. The condo served it purpose well for our group. We wanted something in heart of the city, convenient to everything and it certainly was that. The condo is large, with plenty of space for our group of seven. We used the kitchen primarily for breakfast (too many good restaurants in SFO to eat dinner in) but there were plenty of kitchen utensils had we wanted to prepare a meal. The bedrooms were roomy (other than the one small bedroom shown in the photos) and the beds were comfortable. There are two full bathrooms which worked well for us in the mornings eventhough everyone was getting ready at the same time. The first morning my daughter (third one in the shower) took a cold shower but we learned quickly to wait just a few minutes and the hot water was right back. So, outside of that first morning, the shower situation for all seven of us was good. The only complaint I have was that the condo had a "tired" look to it and the stairwell had a strong musty odor. From the photos I thought the property was more updated than it really was. We had a rental car, which we parked in the garage about a block from the condo. I found this arrangement to be very convenient (when we actually needed the car) and the parking fee charged by Botikia was a bargain given what parking fees are elsewhere in this area of SFO. The first morning we were there we went to Union Square and bought a one-week muni pass. This is a must! The pass, which cost only $26, allowed us to ride the cable cars, trolleys and busses. If you have an i-phone, you can use it to easily navigate SFO's public transportation system. The i-phone will tell you your route, what bus/trolley number to catch, where to catch it and even how long till the next bus/trolley comes. We found that catching the cable car at Union Square usually took too long (too many tourist!) so we would take the trolley down Market Street to California and catch the cable car there. The cable car would drop us off 1/2 block from the condo. We did a couple of unusual things while we were there, which I really liked: (1) We took a tour of Anchor Brewery. The tour is free but you have to make a reservation. The tour was good and the samples at the end of the tour are generous and (2) the Marin Headland area is great - be sure to take the tour of the Nike missile site - it exceeded my expectations.

  Four couples had a great time at the Nob Hill Property. Everything was great position and layout of property. My brother was a bit disappointed because he ended up in the smallest bedroom but it was still a lovely stay. The location was fantastic so close to all the right places and transportation to get around. We quickly got used to the stairs and the steep hill outside but as someone said before it is San Francisco. We were disappointed the washing machine was not working but the company generously compensated us for the inconvenience. I would recommend this property without hesitation for anyone travelling to San Francisco.

  We were a total of seven women nearing age 50, all high school friends from a small town in Illinois. The Nob Hill location was centrally located, easy to walk to many sites, including Chinatown, Fisherman’s Wharf, and Union Square. We did rent a vehicle to travel to Sausalito, Napa Valley, Muir Woods, and the West costal location near the Cliff House. The parking was a great benefit to have and was clean, safe, spacious, near the home, and not on a hill. The home was perfect. The unique details of an older home were exquisite, especially in the atmosphere of the city of San Francisco. The wood trim, wood floors, the stain glass windows, and the view from the kitchen window were priceless. The beds, the pillows, and living room furniture were extremely comfortable. There were large bottles of shampoo and bath soap in both bathrooms which is a plus with today’s air flight regulations. Laundry facility was an added bonus. The corner shop ½ block down hill had everything we needed and at a fair price. The staff at Boutikia Home was very pleasant to work with. I asked many questions about our upcoming stay; where to go, what to see, where to eat, which beach to ‘chill’ on. (Bring a jacket or you’ll be buying one at the many shops you walk past.) The booking arrangements were great and the deposit refund was returned quickly. We arrived early and were able to keep our luggage at the home and begin our walking. We all had a great time and very glad we chose Boutikia Home in Nob Hill for our stay.

  I had originally booked another property through Boutikia when we were informed that was no longer available and would we consider this larger apartment for the same price? Although initially annoyed and disappointed, boy were we glad for the switch. This flat fit the needs of my family perfectly. It was impeccably clean, bright, and very well-equipped. It actually provided more room for us than we needed - my daughters quickly appointed the extra bedroom their "hide-and-seek" room. Have to admit the hill that you have to turn down is quite daunting, but it really gave you that "San Francisco feeling." Thanks, boutikia, for a wonderful four nights in one of our favorite towns. We will definitely be staying with you again!

  This apartment was wonderful. Very clean with even more amenities than I expected. The check-in info was easy to follow as was check out. It was a great floor plan for our family (two grandparents, my husband and myself and two children). The parking was about as close as it gets in San Fran, with the lot being open 24 hours and only one block away. The only things to consider are two of the bedrooms are in the front of the house, where it can be noisy until about 11:30 at night (cars, people calling to each other). The house is also on a particularly steep road. It was a little difficult for my parents. There is a corner store at the end of the block that sold many necessities. We were easily able to walk to a playground, pizza place, coffee stores and a nice little restaurant with a 9 and 6 year old. I would definitely rent from Boutikia again. I would however recommend that you make sure all questions are specifically answered in your emails. There was a slight miscommunication about the parking that I think could have been avoided if I had followed up on it instead of assuming they read the notes in my reservation.

  Nice flat - had nearly everything we needed - no rollaway - but we did okay without it. Thanks for having the extra shampoo/conditioners/etc. - that was helpful! Plenty toiletries and paper goods. Great location - easy access. Lots of stairs - but that is to be expected.

  When planning our family trip to San Francisco, we wanted a place where we could relax and enjoy each others company. This was the perfect decision. Being so centrally located made touring and experiencing the city easy and fun. The flat was clean and spacious. There were more than enough towels, bedding, and the like. We couldn't have enjoyed ourselves more. Since the flat was on a steep street and you needed to climb a steep set of stairs to get in, I wouldn't recommend it for anyone who has difficulty walking, but otherwise it was just great! Thank you Boutikia for a weekend full of wonderful family memories.

  We stayed at this apartment with 3 children, 3 grandparents and 2 adults. We were so pleased with the location of the apartment, half a block from the cable cars, on a very steep hotel. So staying here gives you a true San Francisco experience. The apartment was spacious, clean, very comfortable. The huge dining table was excellent for meals with everyone. The kitchen was well equipped. The bedrooms were good sizes and the beds comfortable. The car park was close and the neighbours all very friendly. There is a small market down the street for supplies and larger food supermarkets in easy walking distance (although a bit up and down, but that's part of the fun). The price of the apartment was cheaper than all of us staying in a hotel in the area and four nights for price of three a bonus. Overall we had a great experience here and would totally recommend San Francisco and this apartment.
