  Great location! Close to beach, restaurants, bars & shops. Great wrap-around porch and total livability. Everything you need and more. A classic beach cottage that provides everything needed for your getaway.

  The house was everything I'd hoped for. It was spacious and comfortable (including the beds which is often not the case in a rental). We practically lived on that wonderful porch. It was so relaxing to read in the hammock. The beach is so close we could leave our chairs and go back to the house for lunch. The only negative for some people might be that the street seems to be a favorite for parking for the bars at night and can get quite noisy between 1 and 2 AM for a bit but considering how great the house is and it's proximity to the beach I could easily overlook this and for those who don't go to bed so early they probably wouldn't even notice this. There is plenty of shopping, waterfront dining and historical tours nearby. We had a wonderful time and would highly recomend this property.

  My family had a wonderful time at your beach cottage. The super wonderful wrap porch had us enjoyting every day, especially the night of my daughters rehersal dinner. Everyone had plenty of room with all of the lovely porch chairs, rockers, etc. The accomodations were great and also the beautiful decorations in the beach house--it was so homey and we loved it. Thanks for such a fabulous place to make our wedding week a huge success. We hope to visit again some time. Larry and Larene Ray.

  OH MY! The character of this house is amazing! It is decorated perfectly for the setting and you immediately feel "at home!" However, you only need to be in the house to prepare food (oh and you have to have a big family breakfast and dinner at the large dining table!) and sleep. What the porch lends to this home cannot be described with words. Even on a rainy day, we were on the porch! The ocean sounds, the breeze and family gathered around.... again, no words can describe! You can walk to the beach in a minute! This was so nice! Watched many surfers walk to beach early morning. You could take your morning coffee and watch the sunrise! Many runners would also love this place. The loop is 'right there.' The memories from our week are forever etched in our minds! The owner was so pleasant to work with. The whole rental went without one single problem! If you are considering a week at Wrightsville Beach, you MUST consider this home! Thanks to the owners for sharing their home! I'm so "beach sick" already and haven't been home 24 hrs yet!

  The location was prime. The owner was wonderful; he answered all of my questions before arriving to Whitesville Beach. I will definitely rent this house again.

  We all thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Wrightsville Beach. We spent a week in this wonderful cottage, just a minute walk to the beach. We brought our 2 young boys, 13 and 9, and my 76 year old mother-in-law, who isn't as mobile as she used to be. The house gave me great memories of being at my grandmother's house. It boasted a sense of peace, rest, and simplicity that you don't get from a hotel. We all had our own rooms and enough space to have private time. Although we usually found ourselves gathered on the porch to enjoy our family together. This house had everything we could have wanted to feel just like home and the location to the beach and the center of town is amazing! We would all recommend this house to anyone....so glad we found it!

  This house is in the perfect location at Wrightsville Beach!! It is literally steps from the beach and restaurants. The house suited our needs perfectly! Plenty of elbow room and the front porch was a great place to sit and watch all. I hope we can stay again in the near future!! 10 Thumbs up for this one!

  Five women, who had not seen each other since high school, reunited at this wonderful house for an exceptional three day "Big Chill" weekend. This beach house was charming with the original bead board ceilings and paneled doors and yet the kitchen and bathrooms were up to date. Most of our catching up was spent outside on the large veranda containing cushioned wicker furniture and rocking chairs. The owner was a pleasure to work with and made the entire process very easy. So, we have already decided to return to that very same house soon, as it would be hard finding another beach cottage with such great ambiance, 20 steps to the beach. Thank you for the opportunity to experience it!

  This beautiful cottage was everything we hoped and expected it would be. Being very familiar with the area, we already knew it was an ideal location as you can walk within two minutes to the beach, restaurants, custard and italian ice shops, a sports bar and grocery store and well as the famed "loop". The thing the sets this property apart from so many others is the incredible traditional charm and "beach cottage" feel that you get as soon as you set foot on the big wraparound porch ( the hammock and wicker furniture were well used by our family). The rooms were very large and nicely appointed with just the right touch of items that give the rooms a great "coastal" feel. The house is well maintained and everything (appliances, TVs, Wi-fi, BBQ grill) worked great. Also, having parking for three vehicles is very helpful in an area where parking is at a premium. The owner was a pleasure to work with. He answered our questions and worked out the agreement details very professionally. Every detail regarding the property was just as listed on VRBO. I would recommend this cottage to all who want an attractive, comfortable and convenient place to stay in Wrightsville Beach. We certainly intend to take advantage this property again

  My Large family stayed here for a week. The best location ever you can walk to everything . The house is very nice make you feel right a home, the front porch is to die for as we spent 90% of our time just lounging and people watching . I couldnt have booked a better place to stay. This is a true gem at Wrightsville beach!!!!
