Our cabin was built in May of 2008 and is located in a gated community on 1 1/4 acres of property that backs up against the National Forest.
The cabin has wooden floors with the exception of the bedrooms. High cathedral ceilings throughout the cabin and the chalet windows offer a breath taking view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Oversized kitchen has a double oven with all amenities. Sit on the wrap around porch with the vaulted ceilings and enjoy the mountains and wildlife. The cabin is beautifully decorated with many antiques and country crafts.
Come enjoy the changing of the seasons inside a beautiful cabin in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
The cabin is located between Blairsville and Young Harris Georgia and is about 15 minutes from Murphy, North Carolina and Hiwassee Georgia. 30 minutes from Vogel State Park where you can enjoy hiking and beautiful waterfalls.

This home and the views ARE heaven! We spent a long weekend here in Aug.2012 and would highly recommend this property. The house is spacious yet still feels cozy; very clean and well equipped with a large kitchen and very roomy master suite upstairs. The wrap-around deck is as big as the view and we took advantage of the picnic table and enjoyed dinners out on the deck each night. Thank you to the owners Jeff & Bobbie for their generosity and kindness. We hope to come back again!Recommended for: Girls getaway, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, families with teenagers.

If you are looking for a place to relax and enjoy awesome views, this is the place. When we walked in the door we were blown away by this beautiful home - tastefully decorated and neat as a pin. We enjoyed hanging out, playing games/cards and visiting our favorite restaurants - The Sawmill for breakfast and Cooks for their famous hamburgers. This home was much more than we ever expected. We had a terrific time and hope to return in the future. Thanks, Jeff and Bobbie, for sharing your home with us.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We spent 1 week in this cabin and enjoyed every second of it. This place is a true masterpiece and we felt lucky to get to stay here. My kids loved the house and still talk about it 6 weeks later. We adore this cabin and hope we get to stay again sometime in the future. It has dreamy accents and is the perfect rustic cabin that is comfortable, roomy, and so so luxurious. We can truly tell you that you will be blessed to get to stay here. The views were incredible, and it is secluded enough that we felt all to ourselves, yet nice enough that we felt like we were staying in a rustic resort. If you want a North Georgia Mountain retreat with all the amenities, this is the place for you.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children.

The owners are right on target calling their home "Almost Heaven" Their home is just beautiful! And the mountain views are the best. In all honesty, their cabin is so homey we felt as though we were staying in the house of good friends. Clean and neat as a pin, tastefully decorated, a balcony to die for, a kitchen that is so great I could stay in their for hours, kind and helpful owners--we really, really hated to leave.Recommended for: Age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
