Our Poplar Ridge home can be rented in it's entirety, or split to a size that fits your needs. Located in Lutsen Minnesota, just 4 hours from the Twin Cities, our 1 to 5 bedroom home sits at the base of Moose Mountain, in Minnesota's largest ski in ski out luxury resorts. Not just a winter wonderland of skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, and any other winter activity you can imagine, fall brings a blaze of color up the mountain, and all along the shore.
Come in the spring and summer to enjoy miles of biking, and hiking trails, or the 27 hole Superior National Golf Course, just next door, offers spectacular views of Lake Superior. You may want to fish inland lakes, or charter a boat for fishing Lake Superior. And of course, hunt agates along the shores of 'The Big Lake' Not to be forgotten is the famous Alpine Slide, and Superior Hiking Trail, just a walk up the road.
At any season, a ride to the top of Moose Mountain via the Gondola to have lunch, and view Lake Superior and the surrounding forest is a must see! Guests enjoy all the resort amenities, such as indoor/outdoor pool, 3 whirlpools, 2 sauna's, restaurant & lounge, guided canoeing, bonfire with s'mores, kids camp, and much more.
The area offers many unique shops, art galleries, antique dealers, and restaurant's from fine dinning to the casual family style pizza pallor. Or spend the day at one of the several State Parks or Forest, hiking the Superior Hiking Trail, or strolling the shore's of Lake Superior.
All three units have private entrances, with locking ski lockers. adjoining doors to open to the full capacity, sleeping 14. The 2 Bedroom unit sleeps 6, and boasts a two story stone wood burning fire place, full kitchen, 2 bath, balcony w/patio furniture and gas grill and great view of Moose Mountain and Gondola. Master bedroom has a queen bed, private bath w/shower. The guest room has 1 queen bed and 2 twin beds. The Studio One Bedroom w/whirlpool, sleeps two, with a queen size bed. The Two Bedroom (lower level) sleeps six, with two queen beds and a double pull out couch. Both of the other bedroom units can open to the two bedroom unit, both have deck, or patio(for lower level)of Moose Mountain.
Both have kitchenettes, small refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker w/filters and plates and silverware. Also blow dryers in private baths, with soap and shampoo, as well t.v. with DVD player, alarm clocks.

Very nice units, which handled our group of 12 very well. Easy ski to Moose Mt. and good coming back from Bridge Run, but a little confusing first time to decide were unit was, would be nice if they were numbered on the downhill side of units. The kitchen was very well supplied with utensils, pans etc. The basement spa/hot tub not working for legal reasons at this time, sounds like true of all units? Overall a very nice stay, we certainly recommend it to anyone thinking about staying on the hill.
Recommended for:People with disabilities, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

Our family has instituted yearly weekends that include everyone - from babies to grandparents. This was the perfect location. The bedrooms suited the diverse needs of our family. The kitchen suited the gourmet needs. The dining table sat 10 easily. The deck was safe for children. The exterior landscaping was perfect for games and family fun. The pooIs were well maintained. There was lots to do: hiking, biking, shopping, and in the winter skiing. I highly recommend this property and look forward to returning in the near future. Working with the owner was wonderful and personal.

My wife and I stayed in your one bedroom suite Jan 2009. It is lovely and the whirlpool tub and fireplace were great on a cold winter evening. we looked at the rest of the home and will be back with more people to enjoy this spectacular home in the most premium location in Lutsen.
