This 3,000 sq ft, two-story home includes 3 bedrooms (TWO King Bedrooms, plus One Queen Bedroom)(plus 3 sleepers), 3 baths and is located in a quiet neighborhood near Neskowin, Oregon (between Lincoln City and Pacific City). Lincoln City is only 10 minutes away. The house has a beautiful FULL ocean view (north central Oregon coast) with beach access just 100 steps away. You can literally watch (& hear) the waves crashing in while you're showering in the master suite. We've recently updated and remodeled our home (new carpet and furniture) to comfortably accomodate a family of eleven (plus additional space for the little ones). If you're looking for beach access, stunning sunsets and a quiet getaway ... look no further. You'll enjoy every moment of your stay.
Views are incredible from inside and out. The main floor features an ocean view deck that spans the full length of the house and a second, more secluded deck, in the back yard where children can play while you relax or prepare a BBQ meal to enjoy on the large picnic table. This back deck also has a fire pit (and benches) for use in the evenings after the sun goes down.
The main floor has a fully equipped kitchen, including an icemaker in the refrigerator. There's double sliding doors to the deck so you can watch (and hear) the waves crashing in even while doing the dishes! There's a four-person kitchen table (dining room has 10 chairs) and a small television within the coffee bar area too. You' may want to bring your own coffee. There's ample tea and hot cocoa, but there are too many coffee choices; we'd never be able to satisfy everyone's taste! There should be some 'generic' pre-ground, but... there's a coffee bean grinder available for us 'coffee snobs' (two of our daughters own coffee shops)!!!
Also on the main floor is the huge living room with a flat-screen TV, large wood-burning rock fireplace (wood included) and two up-graded sectional sleepers. This floor also hosts the King master suite (including a gel fuel fireplace, sliding door onto the deck and a private bath with double sinks). In addition, you'll find the Queen bedroom, main bath (with double sinks) and laundry room. There is a wet bar next to the formal dining room (seating for 10) and plenty of wine glasses, blenders, etc.
The downstairs features a large recreation room with a flat-screen TV , large sectional sleeper, an additional sofa across the room, plus a pool (+ping pong) table. The third bedroom (King bed) also has a microwave, mini-fridge and coffee pot (plus a crib). The third bathroom and the garage are also on the lower level. There is a game and puzzle cupboard here, as well as toys and a table with four chairs.
Each bedroom is equiped with its own cable TV. There are binoculars throughout the house and a telescope in the living room to spot fishing boats, whales, seals, etc.
Wireless internet service is available, at no extra charge. Depending on the weather, signal strength (and/or your server) laptop USB modems may also function.
All three bathrooms have shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion dispensers for your convenience.
The beach access/path is just across the street from our driveway. If anyone in your group needs assistance, there's a rope type ('handrail') to assist their steps down to the huge 'endless' sandy and very private beach. Most people walk right down, but the rope is there for extra security. Alternatively, you can drive to an easier access just 1/2 mile south of our driveway. Once on the beach, walk a few minutes north to find an awesome cave, then walk 10 minutes further north to explore the mouth of the Nestucca River (and the large family of huge seals).
Deer sightings are a very common occurence. They've allowed us to be part of their world; i.e. they're not threatened by your presence, but please watch them from a distance (especially in the early Summer months when their babies are so young). We also have a neighborhood rabbit and occasional raccoons, but we prefer you don't feed them; they wreak havoc on garbage day!
You'll not want to leave this house; be sure to spend enough days to really wind down and rejuvenate yourselves. Stay six nights and your seventh night is FREE! Do ENJOY your stay.

Lovely, comfortable home, well stocked and maintained. Every thing one needs for a lovely, restful vacation was available. Our stay at this house was basically perfect. The house slept all of our people comfortably - lots of pull out beds, but that was totally fine. We had everything we needed, in terms of household supplies. And the walk to the beach (although at the bottom it was a little steep, and challenging for some of our older members) was AMAZING - like "The Hobbit" on the way down (according to our 8-year old), and breathtaking once you got down on the beach. Incredible waves, waterfall, cave, and great climbing rocks. Amazing fireplace, plenty of bathrooms. . . as I said, basically PERFECT!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We had a group of 6 for a girls get away weekend. This is a nice home with great accomodations and a spectacular view of the ocean. We would definately stay here again and would recommend for a small group like ours or a much larger group.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Three good friends were looking for a place to spend the night together visiting, cooking, eating and doing crafts and we certainly found a perfect place. Loved the views of the ocean and saw lots of brown pelicans flying just over the tops of the waves. The house was really huge but still felt warm and cozy. We may even bring the guys back some time :) to join in our fun!!!Recommended for: Families with young children, girls getaway.

We had a wonderful family reunion with my 3 siblings and spouses. The home accommodated 8 adults very comfortably. I am the youngest, at 60+, and we played like 12 year olds! Romping on the beach, playing games of all sorts, cooking and eating, staying up late and laughing 'til we cried! This home has a warm charm and is very well represented on the website. We loved the quiet little community away from busy Lincoln City! And it's very close to Pacific City, which is a charming little town with a good market and fresh seafood. Judy (owner) is very responsive and answered all my questions to help assure we would enjoy our stay, Thank you for sharing your beach home with us.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We stayed at your beach home for a brief family reunion and will have lifetime memories of our fun time together at the Oregon coast. We spent hours on the beach, collected lots of whole sand dollars, observed through the telescope an American Eagle perched on a neighbor's roof, played pool and ping pong, watched the Olympics' opening ceremonies, roasted marshmallows over the patio fire pit, and the list goes on. The view from your home is spectacular - even the young children commented on it. All the accommodations were clean and comfortable. As advertised, everything we needed (linens, towels, soap, etc) was provided; we only had to bring food - how convenient! The path to the beach, though steep in places, was manageable for all of us (ages 4-79), and even at high tide there was dry beach on which to play and explore. Oh, and we lucked out with perfect weather! We couldn't have scripted a better family reunion experience.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

The house was wonderful. We were two families (4 adults and 6 teenagers) and everyone was comfortable. Kids really enjoy the games, and playing pool. Weather was not the best while we were there but we made the most of it and still had a great time. Some of us were not quited prepared for the walk down the rocks holding onto the rope, but was still lots of fun being so close to the beach. We didn't get to see any sea lions or whales but collected many shells. I would definitely reccommend this place to anyone looking for a getaway with their family. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

This house is setup for all ages to enjoy from young to old, and everything in between! We spent 2 fabulous weeks at this house with our children and grandchildren. Everything was supplied crib, highchair, bath toys and a whole closet full of games for the older ones, the downstairs lends itself to be perfect for the kids. The walk to the beach was such an adventure, our 5 yr old grandson was sure it was decorated by "pirates"! The secluded side of the beach where the river flows in was perfect for sea shells, sand dollars everywhere, types I have never seen before on the Oregon shores. My son found several Japanese buoys and a glass globe. It was a vacation I will treasure forever!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

Hi Judy! We had a great time at the beach, even though it rained a lot. Terry and his friends managed to get in two rounds of golf on the Marsh Course on Tue/Wed which is where they played as kids. Terry and our son also play nine holes on Friday. We shopped in Lincoln City, went to the Aquarium in Newport, walked on the beach,etc. Thank you so much for adding the sports package to the TV schedule. We were counting on watching the WSU-UCLA game. It is a great house for families and very well equipped. Thank you again for sharing your home with us.Did you find this review helpful? About the owner: Since my husband and I bought the house, it has quickly become a place of refuge and our favorite spot to celebrate the family birthdays. My husband is a podiatric physician & surgeon (foot specialist), I'm a housewife and we have four grown children who have blessed us with grandchildren. We have a St.Bernard and one cat who both prefer to stay home when we go to the beach. We live on a small farm in Dundee.

We chose to buy this home because of it's beautiful, peaceful location. Even when it's stormy and raining, just watching and listening to the waves 24/7 is enough to keep us content and relaxed.
