Had a wonderful time even tho it rained part of the time. The wood buring fireplace made it cozy. The view was FABULOUS, the veiw from the shower was great. The teens had fun down stairs in their own space playing pool, pingpong and watching tv. We enjoyed the great upstairs to ourselfs. It had everything but the "food" you need. Very clean and safe. Can not wait to get back.

Recommended for:Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

WOW! What a place to spend a week's vacation. We relaxed on the deck, watched pelicans fly by, walked down the path and climbed down the rock trail to the beach. We flew kites and played in the surf. A great place for all the kids: ages 3 - 13 (and they loved the pool room). We celebrated Grandpa's 75th birthday......played lots and ate lots! Thanks for all you did to make our stay great.

What a wonderful way to celebrte our 50th wedding anniversary with our family in your home! We had great weather - made for perfect walks on the beach and fires at night on the deck. The view was wonderful. The grandkids loved your play room. It was a blessing in every way.

We stayed end of July. Great house, nothing broken, everything works. Nice quiet well kept neighborhood. The house has huge sleeping capacity, with hideabeds everywhere, and spacious rooms that could sleep a few more on the floor if needed. Much more then we actually needed, but always nice to have more space. However the problem I would foresee in a larger group would be the parking situation. The garage is large and could hold two cars if needed, but the driveway is pretty much single wide. If you had more then 2 cars, there would be a lot of shuffling since you cannot park on the road. Monster size deck on the front. Nice deck on the back to shelter you on windy days. Great to have a barbecue there too. The roads are all gravel and steep, so leave the bikes at home. HUGE view of the ocean, but you can barely see the beach. I would call this home “ocean view” as opposed to “beach view”. Really fun rocks to climb on once you get down to the beach. If you need rock climbing activities for ages teen and up, book this house! Its so awesome climbing rocks on the beach.

Owner response:Yes...the beach "goes away" when the tide is in. I always say "just look out the window instead of the tide chart"; if you can SEE the sand/beach - you're good to go! We've tried to make the house fun for all... we're so glad you enjoyed your stay.

Just wanted to drop you a line to let you know how much the six of us enjoyed the house/home at Neskowin! It is so well appointed that other than food, we didn't want for a thing. We didn't do a lot of coastal exploring, but just enjoyed the gorgeous view, sounds of the ocean, card game playing and one anothers company and the chance to have a good visit. Thank you so much for accomodating all of the above.

WHAT A VIEW.... Our family had an AWESOME time. You just can't describe how peaceful and serene the house and neighborhood are. Even with a large group, there was plenty of room to roam about. The house was very clean and well equipped too. We've found our reunion house to return to.
