    Thanks Vic! We had a wonderful time at your cabin in the woods. We wanted a week to unwind with our three children (10, 8, and 6) and this was the perfect get away. We spent our days hiking and/or riding bikes on the Lehigh Gorge Trail (which is right out back), at Hickory Run State Park, and in Jim Thorpe (which is a nice/close drive.) The 4 bedrooms were big, clean, and the beds were comfortable. We were spoiled with three full bathrooms as well. We love to cook, and the kitchen appliances were certainly well maintained and of good quality. We enjoyed many meals at the very large dining room table. The kids loved roasting marshmallows at the fire pit out front, and we also had a nice time in the hot tub! There was no need for ipods/ipads/laptops when we had nature right out our back door (the pool table and air hockey table and dvd players were a good distraction too!) We ended up bringing up all of our groceries from home--not knowing if there would be a quality grocery store close by. Note to self...next time we will shop up in the town center, as there was a good sized grocery store very close by with all of the necessities! We also managed to eat out at the diner for breakfast once, and my family is still raving about the crispy bacon, and over-sized pancakes, and perfectly toasted toast, etc. One night we went to the Powerhouse and we were surprised at how good the food was (again, we are foodies!) I will absolutely come back, both with the kids and also with pals--as it will be some time before my kids can ride the full trail, so I think we may need to plan an adult only gathering in the interim.

    About 16 of us rented this house and the other one Vic rents about 50 yards away, for the weekend of the super bowl. The houses are both amazing. We could of easily fit in this one house quite comfortably, but needed seperate bedrooms, considering we were all couples. Was quite surprised with the rustic log cabin look, that you just cant get from the pictures. State park stream was about 75 yards downhill for a nice hike . The Powerhouse restaurant down the road was perfect. Great food at a decent price. Vic was very helpful, throughout the whole process of renting . All 16 of us decided we would definitly do this again, so Vic be expecting a phone call.

    We rented this cabin for a ski getaway on a long weekend with about 10 people (late 20's and 30 year olds) and it was the perfect size. New/clean house with plenty of room for everyone to sleep, 4 bedrooms and at least 4 couches in the house. Had everything we needed for the kitchen, bedding, and a few ipod speakers thoughout the house. Great deck and clean hot tub, nice fireplace, fairly close to Big Boulder ski area, and a grocery store only a few miles away. Vic was easy to deal with and answered all our questions. I would definitely recommend this as a family or friends getaway!

    What a perfect time we had at the cabin. The property is secluded in the woods and it felt like you were the only people there. Even know it is secluded, it is still close to all the major interstates and attractions. We were a group of 9 friends that go away every November to the Poconos. This was our first stay at this cabin but it won't be our last. It was very clean and everything was in working order. Most cabins have a gas fireplace, it was nice to have a wood fireplace instead. The sound from the Leigh river was very relaxing and what a great view. I highly recommend taking a walk down by the river (if you can hike) to check out the crystal clear water and scenery. The game room on the lower level kept everyone busy. We all had a blast playing air hockey, pool and darts. All the rooms were a nice size so no one had to draw straws to see who got what room. There was enough furniture for everyone and it was very comfortable. All 9 of us were able to enjoy meals together at the large table in the dining area. The hot tub was always nice for a morning or late night dip. Vic was easy to work with and answered all my phone calls and questions. Can't wait to come back next year!

    This was our second year coming to this cabin in the fall. It is in a great spot: quiet, peaceful, and you can hear the sound of the river from the cabin. The cabin is beautiful and fit all 12 of us very comfortably. The fire pit was fun, and all of the games in the basement added a lot to our weekend. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone who is considering a Poconos getaway. We will definitely be coming back again. On top of all of this, Vic was very easy to deal with, and the transactions were seamless.

    Wonderful cabin in a beautiful setting!! I threw my husband a surprise 30th birthday party here and received so many compliments on the house. My guests were amazed at how new, yet outdoorsy the cabin felt - not to mention there was plenty of space to entertain without feeling cramped. The house seriously had something to do for everyone (kids and grandparents included!!) Our favorite part by far was the fire pit, but the hot tub and access to the Lehigh Gorge trail were pretty close seconds. Thank you so much, Vic! Hope to be back for ski season :)

    Booked this house for a family get together and couldn't have picked a better place. Vic (the owner) was great in helping us make the rental arrangements and the house itself is truly beautiful -- even better than shown in the pictures -- and had more than enough room for the the 9 of us (5 adults and 4 children). All 4 bedrooms in the house are pretty comparable in size/furnishings so there was no need to draw straws to see who got the best bedroom. The home has an upscale-rustic feel to it -- all of the wood trim gave the feeling of being in a cabin away from it all but with furniture and finishing touches that gave all the comforts of home. Kitchen and baths were stocked with everything we needed for the week. Loved the open layout of the huge "great-room" (Kitchen, dining room and living room area) -- everyone could be in on the conversations whether prepping a snack, playing a game at the table or watching a movie. Lower level game room (especially the air-hockey table) and the hot-tub on the front deck were huge hits with everyone in the group. Per Vic's recommendation, we tried the nearby Power House Eatery for dinner one night and had an excellent meal. Overall had a great stay and made some terrific family memories. Would absolutely recommend this home to friends and other family members. Thanks, Vic, for sharing your cabin with us.

    Everything described about this cabin was exactly what it was...it was a beautiful serene setting with all the modern amenities needed to make you feel right at home. Wether we were playing pool and darts, relaxing in the hot tub or sitting on the back porch listening to the river...it was simply perfect. The property was clean and well maintained. The owner sent us a list of nearby activities and we did several of them during our stay. The Powerhouse is a MUST for going out to dinner. We look forward to making a return trip!!!

    We stayed for one week in July with 9 people and my dogs and never felt cramped. The cabin was very well maintained, spacious, new and beautiful. Everything was top notch. My grandkids had a ball. It was conveniently located between 2 casinos, Jim Thorpe town, Wilkes Barr, Mt. Pocono and Tannersville. The Power House Restaurant nearby had delicious food. The sounds of the Lehigh River lolled us to sleep at night. Vic was easy to deal with and addressed our small concerns. We definitely would recommend this cabin and we would love to come back to it someday. It was hard leaving.

    Just wanted to thank Vic for a great time at his cabin. I was a bit worried when we drove into the dirt road (which was a bit muddy at the time do to rain) but after arriving at the cabin, we were all amazed at how modern and beautiful everything was. The woodwork used in the cabin itself was gorgeous! Everything was well maintained and in working order. My party consisted of 12. The four bedrooms were very comfortable however I am uncertain if maybe I missed something because the description said sleeps 14. I was under the impression that the couches would be sofa beds.. But I could not find any way to open them. We ended up joining them together to get more space... But other than that everything was great!! Thanks again Victor!

    This was one of two cabins that a large group of friends rented for a 3 day weekend to celebrate two bachelor parties. We have about 30 guys between the two cabins and this was an ideal setting. It's isolated enough that we didn't have to worry about how loud we were. There was plenty of room and the accommodations were exceptional. Vic, the owner of both properties, was in communication through out and the process was incredibly easy. For a group of guys, there is a lot to do nearby, including golf, hiking, gun range, gentlemen's club, casino, and rafting. There are grills on site (bring your own gas), and hot tubs. We highly recommend this cabin.

    We stayed at the property to meet with family and friends for the ToughMudder Endurance race held at Pocono Manor. The house was great for the number of people. We had three couples, five singles, and a two year old. Thankfully the available couch space was great for sleeping, and very comfortable. Plenty of room for cooking big meals, and the grill was of good quality. Lost power for one night, so fired up the fireplace and had a nice time. Access to the trail and river was a big selling point, and well worth it for nice walks and bike rides. Basemen t game room was a bit overcrowded to shoot pool properly, but we made do. Darts were still busted, but air hockey and pool kept us busy. Bed room TV's could use their own individual channel tuners. I think everything was linked to the main one, but a very minor inconvenience. Owner was responsive as needed. I would highly recommend this rental and may stay again, or look into the apparently larger unit next too it.

    We had a great time. Cabin was equipped with so much to do. Weather was wonderful, fire was very nice...the hot tub was nice. We had such a wonderful time Vic. The people next to us were having a bachelor party and even invited us over there. Great atmosphere..great cell phone service...very pretty hiking areas right in the backyard. Vic provided all the details and we had no problems at all.

    If this home ever comes up for sale, please let me know - we had just an absolutely amazing time. Everything about this cabin is high quality. Great hot tub, big comfty beds, great family areas and a quick WALK to the river, hiking trails and waterfalls. Set back off the road, its the epitome of private and away-from-it-all --- but still only 5 mins from White Haven and their cute shops and market, and 15 mins from Big Boulder/Jack Frost and most importantly Piggy's!!! We couldn't have had a better time, and are excited to return.

    We stayed at the cabin from 2/20-2/23. Upon turning onto the dirt road, we immediately thought we were in trouble. But the house was beautiful!! It was spacious and well decorated. I loved that you could hear the river from the back deck. And that we could go hiking right in the backyard. We did have a few minor things we were not exactly happy about. One of the main reasons we booked this cabin was because it has a lower level game room with a pool table. The pool table was not functional. It was not exactly level and all the pool balls went to one side. Also, the pool sticks were broken at the tip. Then we were excited to see that were was an unadvertised dart board. But when we found the darts, they were all broken as well. Also, the main level couch has a huge hole on the one side. I have a 2.5 year old that at one point fell into the hole. Lucky he wasn't hurt. All in all, the house was extremely nice and the owner was very accommodating. We liked the area and the surrounding areas. Its a great place for peace and quiet. Just not sure if we would go back due to the minor problems we faced.

    The property is even more beautiful than the pictures show. Every room was spotless, the hot tub was a balmy 103 degrees upon arrival and the directions were spot on. Our group was 10 people and there was more than enough room for everyone. The living room has a great layout that enables a large group of people to hang out in the same room and do different things. Vic the owner is very helpful, overall the process was seamless. I'd highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking to spend a relaxing weekend in the country while having excellent proximity to NYC. This weekend is exactly what I needed

    Our group consisted of 4 couples to celebrate my boyfriends 30th birthday. Victor helped me make his birthday a memorable one. He sent us links of many activities. We appreciate all your attention and help you gave us. We went shooting at the range. It was real fun. The house is amazing. We loved how spacious it was and the wood interior. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. We loved the house so much that we decided to skip on going to the casino to enjoy it. It was a fun and romantic getaway for the girls and the boys loved grilling and the outdoor hike. We look forward to renting again in the near future.

    This Place is Amazing... We came here for My Wife's 30th Birthday 13 in all and had the time of our lifes... First of the all the 'Cabin' is beautiful set on the river on a huge lot, very secluded with amazing scenery we even got to see a Black Bear, so cool... The property is spacious, exceptionally clean, Great cooking facilities, games room, and hot tub what more could you want. The property owner Vic is really Nice and very informative he gave us information about all the activities in the area, our group went Whitewater Rafting and up to the Shooting Range which I highly recommend both. This place is awesome it definitely deserves its 5 Star Rating and our group will definitely be back as soon as we can.... Thanks so much for an excellent 30th Birthday weekend Vic, my wife had an amazing time and so did all our friends... Matt:)

    My group had a blast at this cabin. The Cabin was beautiful and very clean. We had all that we needed from the poker table, to the grill, to the fire pit for a fun guys weekend. Vic was easy to work with and we would definitely consider renting again for a reunion.

    Excellent is an understatement. This house exceeded all of our expectations and Vic was extremely helpful and a pleasure to work with. There were 9 of us who stayed and we have more than enough room and enjoyed our extended weekend in the heart of the Poconos.     This was a fantastic cabin. It met all our expectations. It was especially clean, in a private setting with a beautiful view and the perfect place for just relaxing. We had a great time! The location was great. It was a short ride to Mt. Airy casino and a quick hop in the car to the Powerhouse restaurant. We never made it to the ski area because it was so comfortable just staying indoors. I would highly recommend this for a private getaway or a small gathering of friends and family looking for that cabin atmosphere but with modern amenities. We definitely look forward to renting from Victor again!

    Just stayed at the house and must say had a wonderful time. House was gorgeous and comfortable. There were enough beds & seating. Around 15 minutes to Big Boulder ski resort. Easy to get to and enough places to go to. Definitely would stay there again! Thank you!!!

    First and foremost, this cabin is beautiful. It has four bedrooms, including 3 bathrooms. There was 10 of us who stayed at this cabin and there was more than enough room. Second, this cabin was located at the perfect location. We didn't have to worry about keeping the noise down. The cabin was really clean!!! The first day we arrived, we had some issues getting the hot tub to work, but victor was really nice and came down the next day to help us fix it. That night, we were able to enjoy the hot tub. (wish it was a little bit bigger) The cabin is also located 5 minutes from a local supermarket that sells everything you would ever need, along with a liquor store! We had a blast at this cabin!!!! It was amazing and we will be renting from Victor in the future!!!!

    This is a gorgeous house that is perfect for a group. The main room upstairs, which is a big, modern kitchen opening up to a beautiful living room with the most comfortable leather couches, flatscreen tv (with blu-ray player and Direct TV!), and fireplace, is simply wonderful. We spent most of our time lounging there and playing games, sitting in the hot tub, and going for walks on the beautiful trail right below the house, along the river. In terms of the house, Vic is the perfect host. He answered all of my (many) questions ahead of time, and was willing to accommodate any request that I had. The cabin was in gorgeous shape when we arrived -- clean, well-equipped with kitchen items, and ready for us in every way. We would stay there again in a heartbeat, and would recommend this house highly to any type of family or group that was looking for a get together. We were 4 couples, but this place would be perfect for kids as well, since there is so much to do and plenty of space to stretch out. Thanks again, Vic!

    The property is amazing and the owner is just as great. If you are looking for a backwoods feel with all the comfort and technology of a brand new home... Look no further. The river can be heard in the background while you drive up the gravel road to this oasis in the forest.     Victor (the owner) is top notch and will answer at any time & willing to help out ! The place is very clean & well kept, even smells good. You will love the open look of it and the beautiful landscape. Large river located to the rear of the cabin along side a nature/hiking/bike trail. BBQ grill and full stocked kitchen. Outside hot tub on deck, inside jacuzzi. Heated/cooled cabin. Secluded and all private not over looking another place. When you leave, you feel as though you should have staydd longer !! Sidenote- Bring bed sheets, maybe towels.

    This cabin was just simply AMAZING. The inside is gorgeous, clean, and very spacious for a cabin. Everything you need from basic appliances to entertainment such as a pool table, poker table, and a hot tub. Victor is a great owner. Friendly, nice, and very approachable for any questions or concerns. Excellent customer service. I would def recommend this cabin to anyone who wants a relaxing or fun stay. The area is secluded and private. My group of friends did paintballing and whitewater rafting which were half an hour from the cabin but there are some activities which are only a few blocks away. There is a bike and hiking trail right behind the cabin. Would love to stay here again in the future. It's been a pleasure. Thank you, Vic. RECOMMENDED FOR EVERYONE

    We recently rented this cabin for 13 people for a bachelor party and it fit our needs perfectly. There are a ton of activities nearby and we kept busy the entire time. The cabin has everything you need for a great weekend, we really could have stayed an entire week and done something different every day. I highly recommend this place for just about anyone.     This place is great! Vic did a great job when he built this one. Spacious, clean, very nice, the furniture is comfy. So close to so many activities. Our group went whitewater rafting and biking. Both the river and the bike trail are in the back yard!

    My group of dude friends had a great weekend at this house. The owner worked with us to have a fire pit installed and that became the focal point of our mountain getaway. Great kitchen with plenty of countertops, great back deck overlooking the river. Really fantastic place, and perfect for just about any group.

    We had a great time staying here. We went whitewater rafting, which was close by, and also walked along the Lehigh Gorge Trail, which is right in front of the house. We also enjoyed the hot tub and everything in the house was clean and relatively new. Highly recommended!

    we spent easter weekend in the cabin. the views of the river are so breathtaking and relaxing. the house is near all major attractions, outlets, bushkills falls, marshals creek, indoor waterpark, and town of jim thorpe. the restaurant powerhouse was excellent for our easter dinner. i highly recommend this cabin for people looking to get away to quitness and some great shopping.. thanks cheryl
