Close to the pool and beach, this nicely furnished six-bedroom home makes a wonderful vacation getaway.
With more than 2,400 square feet of living space and beds for up to 12 people, it’s plenty big enough for a large family or gathering of friends. And that figure doesn’t include the spacious screened porch off the living area or the private sundeck off the master bedroom. Go ahead. Expand the guest list. There’s room.
The home’s layout is pretty straightforward. The first floor, accessible by a stairway, includes all the common areas and two bedrooms. The master and remaining bedrooms are all upstairs
Hardwood floors, light-yellow walls and blue accents combine for a nautical décor on the main floor, and that theme is continued throughout the house with the interspacing of various model ships and sailboat paintings. You’ll want to take a nap on the plush, blue-and-white-striped sofa in the living area.
At mealtime, there’s room for everybody at an eight-seat dining room table. Or you can grab a stool at the kitchen counter or move out to the wide screened porch, which has a small table and chairs. An updated kitchen and two bedrooms, each with a private bath, complete the first floor. One bedroom has two twin beds, while the other has a queen bed.
Upstairs you’ll find four additional bedrooms. The master has a king bed and resort views off the balcony. The suite’s bathroom has dual vanities, a jetted tub and a separate shower.
