Over 2400 square feet, The McDow Log Home is beautifully appointed with three bedrooms, two baths, as well as huge "windows to the woods" in the great room and living room. The two living areas provie plenty of space for larger families. In winter roasting marshmellows in the cozy wood stove in the family room while you watch the snow falling is wintertime treat. The living room offers another sofa/relaxing area and game table. The kids will be delighted that there is a small hill and plenty of room to make snowmen or do a little sleding in winter. The large dining area ensure all can be seated for family dinners.
Summers are magical on the large wrap around decks. BBQ fresh fish that you catch at beautiful Electra Lake (5 minute drive and no fishing license is required!) and enjoy dining with views of the mountains. By the way, Electra Lake offers a lovely rustic resturant in an old boathouse where you can take your own bottle of wine and dine over the lake with views of the near 14,000 ft Engineer Peak. Dusk and dawn on the decks provide deer/elk viewing opportunties!! Since the home is on an acre but the two adjoining acres are not built upon, The McDow Log Home offers a wooded summer and winter peacefullness that can't be beat.
A king bed in the master bedroom adjoins the spacious master bath with oversized jacuzzi tub, stall shower, double sinks, and walk-in closet. The second bedroom with a queen bed and third bedroom with a double bed share a full bath with tub/shower facilities.
A seperate laundry room with washer and dryer leds to the attached garage.
