Keywords: Log cabin
Whether you're looking for a get-away weekend or a vacation, the Lazy Log Inn has that rustic cabin-in-the-mountains feel that will bring you back year after year. Our 1700 square foot, full log home is furnished as our family home, not a rental. You'll appreciate the difference. Big bedrooms with queen beds, large open kitchen, and knotty pine ceilings with skylights. And there's plenty of firewood to keep you warm on those cool evenings.
From the large rear deck surrounded by tall pines and a large open meadow you can watch the birds and squirrels play. Enjoy a game of horseshoes or take a hike on National Forest land only a five minute walk away. If golf's your game, Pinetop is your place to be in the summer and fall. Silver Creek Golf Club and Pinetop Lakes Country Club are both outstanding mountain courses open to the public at very reasonable rates. And other great courses are nearby to add some variety.
The winter playland of Sunrise Park Resort, with superb downhill and cross country skiing, is only minutes away. For non-skiers, there are tubing hills, sleigh rides, and snowmobiling. Stop by Hondah Casino on your way back to try your luck or enjoy the entertainment! The summer offers a special beauty with wildflowers abloom, high mountain scenery, lake and stream fishing, mountain biking, and more.

We arrived to cool temps from the heat in Phx. The cabin was exactly what we had hoped for and portrayed in the pictures online. A beautiful treed lot on quite road. We enjoyed local resturants and entertainment and picnics in the forest. We saw alot of wild life on these trips into the forest. We actually had a great time at the local bowlling alley and enjoyed the Red Devil and La Casita resturants. This was a great experience and hope to do it again. We would recomend to all that want to excape the crowds and the heat in the valley.

We had a great family vacation at Jenny's cabin. She couldn't have been more accomadating. I had a few days of depression when having to come back to the triple digit temperatures. Even the drive up there and back are totally scenic which is very different from the boring drive to California. The rain in the afternoon was nice and cozy. Having all of the appliances you need was so nice. Thanks again Jenny!

We all had a perfect Thanksgiving at the Lazy Log Inn. We had hot chocolate and marshmallows awaiting us in a gift bag, split logs ready to warm us, bedding ready to comfort us and an atmosphere of woodsy, cabiny, upscale coziness. Though life's ammenities were always close at hand - including shopping, the Lazy Log Inn is truly nestled in a small pine "thicket". Board games for indoors and horseshoe outside - made for a truly family oriented fun gathering. Jenny did a fine job making a home away from home for perfect strangers! It was a holiday to remember :) Very much recommended by all of 5 us! (comfortably sleeps more)

We recently stayed at the Lazy Log Inn during the weekend of August 8th and had a wonderful time. From the time we booked and coordinated our stay with Jenny, she made us feel that we are truly special guest. The cabin was cozy and truly made us feel at home. It was so convenient to a number of lakes which we enjoyed fishing boating and hiking around which made our entire family and friends truly happy. The boating and four wheeling was great. We can't wait to come back before the winter is here. Again, thank you to Jenny and to Lazy Log Inn for sharing your place.

We stayed over the July 4th holidays and had a wonderful time. The cabin is cozy and was perfect with our 3 kids. Having wireless internet access was also a bonus! It was great getting out of the Tucson heat. We will be back!

We had a wonderful stay in late July, 2008 at the Lazy Log Inn. The owner was easy to contact via email and was quick to answer all of our questions. The cabin was large enough for our family and the two bathrooms were great to have. The kitchen was large and cozy and had everything we needed to make it a home away from home. The washer and dryer were a welcome site after a day of fishing on the White Mountain Apache Indian reservation! We enjoyed the game table and the younger kids were glad to see a television. Adults and kids especially enjoyed endless games of horseshoes behind the cabin. The deck was a hit for relaxation and evening conversation. We would recommend the Lazy Log Inn!
