This is a Luxurious Houseboat on the Erie Canal. The boat is 15' wide by 67' long. The interior has a full living room, full kitchen, 4 bedrooms, 2 full baths, all heated and air conditioned.
There are decks at the stern and bow for cooking on the gas grill, sightseeing, lounging, and enjoying the wildlife. The boat includes an upper deck that is 15' wide by 50' long which includes a service bar, hot tub, and slide. This is an ideal location for sunbathing or relaxing.
A typical week’s adventure includes the following itinerary; On Monday at 8 am shopping for the week’s amenities, Pick up of the boat at 10 am at Stivers Seneca Marine, The move-in and a 6 hour orientation will begin immediately while someone is checking in, the voyage will begin heading toward Seneca Falls on the Erie Canal. Tuesday begins with a trip heading south down Cayuga Lake, you could also stop at Goose Watch Winery on the west side of Cayuga and end up in Ithaca for the night.
On Wednesday you will begin heading north on Cayuga Lake's east side and stay in Clyde for the night. On Thursday you will begin a canal trip to Fairport where you will dock for the night. Friday will bring the voyage from Fairport to Lyons. Saturday’s trip will entail a trip from Lyons back to Seneca Falls. Sunday's trip will be Seneca Falls back to Stivers Seneca Marine by noon.
The reasoning for this is because the boat traffic will be much greater after noon and will make it difficult for docking. Day trips are available outside of the itinerary. There will be a series of locks that will raise and lower your elevation throughout the trip giving you the experience of a lifetime.
This luxurious home could also remain tied at the dock and be your vacation home on the water. It would truly be on the water and you would not have any concern of navigating the waters and still engage in the experience of the Erie Canal and the Finger Lakes. You could slide from the hot tub on the top deck into our clean fresh waters for a refreshment from the sun.

A one week rental is $4550/week plus applicable taxes. This does not include fuel, pump outs, electric, propane, and dockage. The majority of stops do not charge for transient dockage. Weekly rentals are from Monday morning at 10am until Sunday at noon.

About the owner: We are Donna and Bob Stivers and have been renting house boats for 10 years, we have operated Stivers Seneca Marine for 14 years, we have lived on the lakes for our entire life. Our knowledge and experience has created a sense of security for our customers for their vacation on the Erie Canal.
Why the Owner Chose Geneva:
We chose this type of rental to give visitors the type of experience that we have had throughout our lives. Living on the water is a vacation in itself.
