The heavily wooded site adjoins Yellow Wood State Forest providing miles of hiking opportunities and 3 private ponds for your fishing enjoyment. This true Brown County log cabin is a wonderful place to gather, whether with friends or a romantic getaway. The large hot tub on the east deck provides a perfect spot for star gazing while the west deck has outdoor seating for 10 next to the charcoal grill. You will enjoy a romantic fire in the wood burning fireplace while you are nestled in Old Hickory and Marshfield furnishings. This home has WI-Fi. The lower level features a pool table, fireplace, flat panel TV, ping pong table and access to a large screened in porch. At the end of the day find the 'secret room', pour a glass of wine and view the forest. This is a premier cabin in Brown County.

I would highly recommend Loretta's Cabin. I have no complaints about our stay. I loved the screened in dining room, and the secret room, both were very relaxing. The hot tub was great, very relaxing. The large dining room table was a ncie asset.The cabin was clean and well maintained. The location is great. I have stayed with other companies in the past this Moondance is my favorite. We stayed here for 2009 to 2009 New Year's. It was a great great place. As a small group of friends, we have been trying to find a place to replace a place we've stayed for years. This almost fit the bill. We loved the locations of the rooms be separated. I loved the personal location of the back area which was set-up as a reading room off of one of the upstairs bedrooms. Personally, I think there could be someone that spends the night in there, too! On a "remote" road, very little noise...Nice kitchen...bring your knives....large dining area...great deck! The billiards area downstairs is nice...Our favorite was the large hot tub, I believe it might be an eight person...Larger than any that I've been at their competition!!!...You won't be disappointed in the tub!!! Small things depending on who you are...I believe, hot water was an issue on occasion...so spread out the showers and dishwasher...not all at the same time! The next part...it's about 3 football fields away from the "managers" and not a lot property to walk if you like hiking/land. Otherwise, I loved it for winter place to hang with friends. The ladies went down the road to the ARTIST quilter and guys loved to hang out and play billiards for the 3 days. We've stayed at other properties by this company and have never been dissatisfied with their management or upkeep! Only suggestions bring your favorite cooking items!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
