  This was our first trip to north Topsail. The view is ABSOLUTELY breathtaking! Off of the deck into the sand! The kids stayed in the ocean or on the beach all day. Love, Love, Love.. The living area had plenty of room for us all, as well as the bedrooms. We have no complaints with this rental, it had everything we needed. Thank you for sharing your home with us Meghan and Andy!

  Beautiful home; clean and comfortable with fabulous views of ocean from 3 of the bedrooms as well as from the deck and main living area. Incredibly easy access to the beach. We had one of the best vacations ever. We were there with our adult children and 2 grandchildren; everyone agreed that there was something for all of us to do from playing in the surf, to walking the beach, to enjoying quiet moments on the deck. We never felt the need to leave the premises except one afternoon's visit to the sea turtle rescue hospital which was well worth the visit. tip to the uninitiated, this is a popular attraction and there can be a wait..bring water!! Our week at Dolphin Daze was peaceful, quiet and lovely. The owners are responsive and helpful. I would heartily recommend this family oriented vacation rental.

  Our week was splendid at Dolphin Daze. The weather was perfect for ocean play and walking the beach. We were fascinated by the turtle nests dotting the sandy shores. The turtle patrol ladies were informative and pleasant to visit with. We were very comfortable in the house. Very clean and accommodating for our family! Our evenings were enhanced by a full moon -- picturesque from the upper decks. The maintenance man came promptly for a small repair we inquired about. Hope we can stay here again in the years to come!

  We had a glorious week in topsail. Three generations gathered together and were comfortable in this beautiful beach house. The beach was perfect for a small Hoby catamaran, and the grand kids ages 8 & 4, & a golden retriever. We found a great seafood market near the bridge in Surf City and cooked all meals in. We were a little nervous that the house wouldnt be as nice as the pictures, but it was! We'd love to go back.......tomorrow!

  The beauty of this house is that it is steps to the sand and perfect for families with children. My grandchildren just ran and ran on the wonderful beach and in the surf. The sand is perfect for making sand castles! The view of the water from the deck and three of the bedrooms is spectacular. The house is very easy with a well appointed and equipped kitchen. We had six adults and two children and there was plenty of room. Thanks Megan for all your help with our booking, we would definitely stay here again.

  Words can't capture the beauty of Topsail Island, NC. Dolphin daze will always have a special place my families heart. We couldn't have asked for a better vacation. The place was amazing. The house easily accomodated all 16 of us. With all the amenities provided, all we needed for the week was our groceries which we picked up just down the street. Don't plan on sleeping in or you'll miss one of the best sunsets you'll ever see, while listening to the sounds of the ocean while sipping your morning cofee on the beach taste that much better. Dolphin daze provided the type of vacation that leaves a memory so vivid everytime you close your eyes it takes you right back to that special place. The fishing was awesome. The golf courses were top notch. Most of the time we chose to eat in because our family enjoys to cook. In fact we'll rival any restaurant anywhere we go. Even though we did go out for lunch a couple times, and went out for dinner twice. The NYC deli in Surf City was a good place to go for lunch and very authentic. Be careful at the shark gift shop. They tried to overcharge for things we didn't buy. It happened to us twice so check your receipt and pay attention when cashing out. We plan to make dolphin daze an annual vacation and have already talked with the owners about booking the property for next year. I can't give this place enough praise. I'm torn because I'd love for this place to stay as a secret gem, however the owners are first rate and deserve nothing but the best. Don't missing out on a vacation of a lifetime. Book Dolphindaze, you won't regret it.

  Wow - we had a great week. The weather and water were beautiful. As a matter a fact we are still here enjoying our last day and watching the dolphins swim by. The house was great and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a week of sand, sun and relaxtion. The house is very nice and well equipped but we were not aware it was a duplex! A bit of a shock upon arriving but it all worked out well and there is alot of space. I love the 3 ocean front bedrooms. We didn't leave the beach house often but I think thats a good thing since the island seems to be mostly residential. We enjoyed our stay and would say it was a successful vacation. Definately bring your sand chairs and shade umbrellas - the sun is hot and its only June...

  Owner response: Our house is a two unit home, as are the majority of properties on North Topsail. Our friend Mary owns the other side which is similar to ours, in layout, feel and decore. There are privacy walls separating the decks on each of the three floors, Separate outdoor showers, separate grills, separate sun chairs. The only thing shared is the walkway to the beach. Our unit is about 2600 square feet making it a spacious five bedroom home. There is also the option of renting both sides for a large family gathering. Our family stayed in both sides for Thanksgiving two years ago and we had a blast. Two big kitchens, two big living areas, ten bedrooms to spread out in, and all the convenience of being together. It was wonderful. If you would be interested in both sides, please let me know and I will get you in touch with Mary.

  We love that the house is close to the water and we can watch the kids from the deck or even from inside. Lots of bedroom space. Homey touch by leaving cookies and drinks for when we arrived at the house. Megan was very helpful in answering questions before arrival. We come to Topsail each year for our kid's spring break and we can't wait to come back. The only negative was the very firm mattress in the master bedroom.

All taxes fees and cleaning fee are included in cost. The only additional cost is a fully refundable security deposit of $350.00. It is returned in full, assuming the house is left in good condition.
