We loved our stay in this lovely modern Cape Cod house. It was such a pleasure being in such a stylish, bright modern home in Cape Cod. It felt different than many other houses we had rented in the Cape and it was refreshing. The location was near some wonderful beaches and it was nice to be off the main road. The hosts were very easy to communicate with as well. We had two small families stay very comfortably in the house. I would agree with the other reviewer who stated that the bedrooms could use some treatments since we ended up waking quite early every morning, which wasn't always such a bad thing. But I'm sure the owners will take care of that. Great location. Clean lovely house. I would recommend to anyone with a family who wants to stay near great beaches in Brewster and DennisOwner response: Thank you Ruth! It was a pleasure having you and your family. We enjoyed our stay at this location. There are a couple of negatives I would relay regarding the lack of blinds on the windows making it a bright early awakening for everyone involved including small children. the second issue is the layout- the second smaller "area" for another family is a challenging layout with the front room/living room where there are a vast number of windows as well as patio doors, all again without shades or the ability to dim daylight. It made nap times for the little ones rather challenging. The location was great, peaceful, and close to everything we needed.Recommended for: Families with young children.
Owner response: I'm so sorry you had difficulty with the bright light situation. We always think of that as a positive element in the house (the fact that it's such a sunny home, and that we don't have any close neighbors thereby requiring blinds!), and have not considered it's potential downfall as making naptime difficult. Thank you for your comments, and we'll look into installing some sort of window treatments in the rooms where they are lacking. We do hope you'll stay with us again and we're very happy that you generally enjoyed your stay! Liz
