----- Watch the video above the photo to the left. Then come stay in one of the most beautiful (yet reasonably-priced) homes in Boulder, Colorado.

This home is a modern, well-appointed 3500 foot chemical-free house located in an extremely quiet part of Boulder County, Colorado, just 4 miles northeast from the city of Boulder. The home has hundreds of acres of open space around it. An outside sauna & hot tub (in a beautiful natural setting) are just two of the many amenities & reasons why guests love it here.

Perfect for:
- anyone on a budget: rent a real country home for the price of a cramped apartment in noisy Boulder
- anyone wanting the luxuries & atmosphere of a large home
- families with kids & dogs (very kid-friendly home & large one acre fenced yard) in a very relaxed atmosphere.
- couples that want to get away from the noise & bustle & traffic
- those that love to cook
- travelers who love a large yard with a grill for outside cooking, large trees, & lots of private nature
- those that love peace & quiet.

****************
The cost of renting the entire home:
$365/night for 1-5 nights
$325/night for 5 or more nights.

These prices include all taxes. There is no additional cleaning fee.

There are 3 private bedrooms: 1 Master with a California King, and 2 bedrooms with Queens.
There are also 2 other queen beds and one single bed out in the open area downstairs. There are also a few extra pads and single mattresses that can be pulled out from the storage room downstairs.

Spaces:
The Entire Downstairs: 1300 square feet, with 9' ceilings, bathroom, a quiet queen bedroom; fireplace, & lots of space to spread out. In the larger living area, there are 2 other queens, a single, and a setting of overstuffed couches & chairs.

The Tree Room: A 14'x14' queen bedroom, located on the main floor. It has a work desk & a private bathroom (completely remodeled with glass and tile walk-in shower in August, 2011). Gorgeous views.

The Master Bedroom: this is a 700’ suite. It’s got 14’ vaulted ceilings, wooden floors, oriental rugs, a California King bed, a 60” TV with full access to a Netflix streaming video account, couch and large sitting area, a walk-in bathroom with twin sinks, a private jacuzzi tub, and heated slate floors, and HUGE picture windows that look out into the gorgeous backyard. This is a stunningly beautiful bedroom.

I supply cereals, milk, coffee, and tea. Just help yourself at any time.

-- The kitchen is a cook's delight. Whether you want to prepare large meals for your group, or just make a simple sandwich, the kitchen is all yours. Granite slab kitchen counters; deluxe appliances; gas stove, double convection oven; an outside gas grill for delicious fish and steaks, teak furniture in the dining room.

-- In-floor heating. Beautiful gas fireplaces; wood & imported stone flooring throughout; 12 oriental rugs. Business-class wifi in every room. High-thread count sheets & bedding, towels, soap, hair dryer. Free washer & dryer use (including natural soap), full access to the basics of a well-stocked pantry (oils, spices, etc).

-- There's a large outdoor sauna (8x8 feet) with both rock heat & steam, and a cold plunge; even guests who've never used a sauna before become fans. There's also a large ozone-cleaned hot tub. This is a very quiet, private area, perfect for the total spa experience.

-- This is a chemical-free, smokeless home. There are no toxic chemicals, cleaners, or artificial smells used throughout the house & no chemicals or fake fragrances used in our cleaning supplies. Even the hot tub uses a a hi-tech ultraviolet light system for crystal-clear water purification.

-- The pantry is stocked with many natural food basics; I'm a natural foods author who likes to cook a lot, so you'll find many things you need.

The beauty of the night sky here, with low light pollution, is difficult to express, and must be experienced. Sitting in the hot tub at night, or outdoor sauna, viewing the Milky Way and the occasional shooting star, is an awe-inspiring experience that you and your family will never forget.

I've gone to great lengths to have a strong business-class wireless Broadband Internet connection throughout every corner, every room. Speeds are generally over 15M down, 4M up.

Boulder is 10 minutes away. Denver International Airport (DIA) is 45 minutes. Ski areas are 1 hour.

I myself live just 15 minutes away, so I'm around if there are any questions or issues during your stay. I'm easy-going and like a wide variety of humans, cultures and lifestyles. I've done years of world travel in far away places like Micronesia, China, the Australian outback, the hill tribes of Thailand, I've sailed for months in the Indian Ocean, and lived for a year in Africa. I have lived an interesting life, and have a deep respect and love of people, kids, and animals.

Scott not only provides a comfortable home, away from the city, with plenty of sleeping spaces and bathrooms, he also offers a large selection of spices, along with coffee and French press, organic eggs, butter, milk and other food items, if you wish to use them. We had 11 adults and two children, and even though two opted to tent in the backyard, we had plenty of room for everyone. Our dog appreciated the doggy door that led to a large, fenced in area (and yes, she enjoyed chasing, but never catching, a bunny). We enjoyed grilling out both nights and the kids loved the trampoline. There is also a hot tub and sauna. The house is as depicted in the photos, is clean and well laid out. You can enjoy the serenity of being out in the country, with a short drive to either Longmont or Boulder. We all enjoyed our stay. Thanks Scott.

Scott, I had a great time at your home. Your place more than suited out needs. The kids were happy, the dog was happy and therefore I was happy. We felt right at home in your beautiful space. Loved going on walks and bike rides right outside your door, sitting in your yard and watching my dog chase the rabbits. I would recommend your place to someone that wanted to be away from the city but close enough to go in for a bite to eat or to see the city sights. Thank you for your hospitality. Look for me on TV!

What a great place to stay. The house was lovely and the master bedroom where we stayed was a large space with a huge TV. It had nice wood floors and the large bath had a great rock tile floor. There were also large skylights. The best part, however was meeting the two wonderful families that stayed in other areas of the house while we were there. One of the families even invited us to share their breakfast and dinner. We felt very at ease leaving our dogs in the house because there was a doggy door for their use. We were in the area for a high school graduation and parties after. We never worried about our dogs being safe or happy while we were gone for long periods of time. There was always someone around to love on them and they could come out and go in house at will. The house is near Boulder but still in the front range where there are lots of mountain views, horses roaming through the pastures and beauty no matter where one turns. Will visit again!!! Property was clean and well maintained. Lots of activities available or just hang out. As an artist I found the space quiet and inspiring.

I booked Scott's home for my family to stay while we attended a graduation at UC Boulder. It was a fantastic option for us, as you have to book graduation lodging so far in advance and we weren't sure how many attendees there would be. Originally we were expecting about 9, so we booked the whole house, but only 3 of us were able to attend in the end. Even split only 3 ways, the price was beyond fair for the amount of nights we booked and what we got for it, and everyone had a way better time than if we'd been in a hotel. We took advantage of a number of the amenities. His kitchen, as promised, was fabulous. We only used it to make breakfast, but if we'd had more time, I would've loved to use that double oven! Only piece of advice is know how to use a French press for coffee. If Scott has an electric coffee maker, my uncle couldn't find it, so he spent a few hours sitting in the kitchen working before I came along and used YouTube to look it up for him. The hot tub was great too--coming from a city, it's a great place to relax and watch the stars at night. And while I couldn't convince my family to use the trampoline, I sure enjoyed it! Scott was great to deal with as well. He wasn't there during our stay, but made sure everything was in order. He has everything labeled, which was fantastic, and he provides ample documentation regarding how to use things, where to find thing, and the expectations of being a guest. He was even flexible with agreeing to let me stay an extra night at a reduced rate when I found out I had to be in Denver for business for a few days at the end of the trip. Unfortunately, I ended up needing to move to a chain hotel closer to work, which was nowhere near as nice. I would HIGHLY recommend Scott's home for just about any vacation. Gorgeous home, fabulous location in the middle of horse (and llama!) country, and a great time all around. Thanks, Scott!

The host was MORE than accomadating. What started out as a small family reunion, expanded to include more than whatever Scott was expecting! He was so gracious and made sure that everyone had a place to sleep. The atmosphere was relaxing and the hot tub and trampoline kept the younger set occupied. Of course, the views were awesome, Scott had a local map available. I can hardly wait for my sister to return from the Peace Corps next September when we can do this again!

My girlfriend and I stayed in the Tree Room for one night, and we had a really great experience. The room was very clean and comfortable, with a beautiful view of the mountains. More importantly, the rest of the house remained very open to us. Although we were there for only one night, we did have the opportunities to bask in the private hot tub and make a wonderful breakfast, using Scott's appliances and good, organic food. Throughout our stay, Scott did a good job of remaining in the shadows when it seemed appropriate. He seems to be running a really interesting bed & breakfast on the outskirts of Boulder. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for something both modern and rustic. It was so much better than a hotel.

Our family spent a wonderful Thanksgiving together at Scott's great home. It was in a quiet, picturesque country setting, yet only a 5 minute or so drive into Boulder. My 9 year old niece loved having the big trampoline on bounce on! Several us enjoyed the spa, and my wife and I, along with our son and daughter-in-law, enjoyed the outdoor sauna! The kitchen was great for preparing our Thanksgiving meal. We're all glad we selected Scott's home for our get-together! Bob M

We used Scott's house as a meeting place for our family vacation. Scott and his office manager were more than hospitable. We enjoyed the amenities in the house and utilized the kitchen on more than one occasion. The location was a good fit for us being 10 minutes from Boulder and Longmont. Also only 45 minutes from Denver. We brought one dog on the trip and he had a great time because of the fenced in back yard which he explored regularly. We were also able to take him on walks around the area as there aren't many high traffic roads nearby. We were thankful that Scott watched him when the family was out on a couple occasions. Our dog was sad to leave I'm sure (as were we)! We would recommend this property to anyone and can hopefully make it back for a return visit.

                  Year Purchased: 1999

About the owner: My name is Scott. I'm the owner of an organic functional beverage company, as well as a network marketer of organic medicinal mushrooms. I'm the author of a few books on natural health and natural cooking. I am easy-going & like a wide variety of humans. I've done years of world travel in far away places like Micronesia, the Australian outback, sailed for months in the Indian Ocean, & lived for a year in Africa. I have lived an interesting life, & have a deep respect and love for people, kids, & animals. My MO is curiosity and kindness. I only speak English, but I once knew enough French to get my way around Africa and places like Isle de Reunion and Mauritius. My home was built to be shared with other good-hearted people.
