Relaxation and watching the wild life. We did scenic driving and enjoyed the beautiful colors of fall. This was a perfect place for a get-away. No need to bring anything! Loved that everything we needed was already here. Weather was perfect - the cottage perfect and hate to leave! I will definitely recommend your cottage - can't wait to return! Thanks!

Why would you leave this place? WE had all the food beverages, and entertainment we needed. Having a blast out on the boat then coming back to an awesome cottage and spending the evening with our best friends! PERFECT day! The cottage was very nice. My nephews had the best time fishing! My old college friends were staying down the road, so it was perfect distance to walk to their cabin too. The weather was 100 degrees hot! But we had a really great time. Thank you!

Thank you for such an amazing place to stay. I would recommend this cottage to anyone. We are all looking forward to coming back to spend more time here. Next time, we will have to make it a longer stay. The mid 80 degree sunny weather was awesome. We fished, played soccer, enjoyed the campfire, and laughed our nights away. We didn't need anything. We had everything and stuff we didn't have this awesome place had it! Our favorite moment and special highlights were when the guys beat the girls in soccer! Every moment here had some type of special meaning.

This is our 2nd time to your cottage. We had a grea time once again. Loved having the washer & dryer this time and the firepit! Hopefully, we can us it next time. We enjoyed fishing on the dock and on the lake in our boat. Our son caught a 2lb catfish. Thank you for another relaxing time.

OMG Came here tail end of 12.5" rain - but end of week 65-70 mild weather. We enjoyed fishing and visiting with each other.We fished, ate a lot and fished more. All were safe and enjoyed another great trip to fish.

We came to the cottqage to visit with our family. The house was very comfortable and the area is beautiful! The lake would be a great adventure. We had all that we needed. The location is great for us. It is half way between our two homes. We would come and stay again and we appreciate your help and kindness. Thaks for letting us use your house!!

The Cottage was perfect. We especially liked the "extras" in the cupboards. They were a nice touch & were well received; especially when I forgot the creamer for coffee. Not much to improve upon. We were well pleased with our accomodations. They exceeded our expectations and we look forward to seein' ya'll next year.

We visited Marshall and Lincoln State Park. We shopped in Terre Haute and had a fantastic time! Watching the kids play at the State park was a favorite moment. We had a great time. The cottate was very clean, very cozy and just what we needed for a relaxing weekend away with the family. Tom and Theresa were very quick when it came to addressing our concerns. We will be coming back next year!

Cottage at the Lake - you thought of everything to make us feel at home! Thank you! We ate a lot, played games both children and adults. We hiked around, took lots of pictures, fished, BBQ'd and slept in. We cruised the beautiful Fall Harvest Countryside, and just created great memoriers.

The purpose of this trip was cruising home from a cubs game in St. Louis, MO. You have a very nice place. Took a swim in the cove and it was enjoyable. The internet can be a formula for surprises; this was a pleasant one! You have nice furnishings compared to some rental properties and it is very clean and comfortable. Loved the fact you don't have cable TV! Really!! Played cards, cooked out and just enjoyed the quiet. Thanks for having us!

The cottage is a very nice setting. We were able to go to a park for some boating and to visit a state park. This was a much needed vacation in a very peaceful environment, providing lots of open spaces. The front porch was the perfect place for a morning cup of coffee while reading a book. The back porch is a nice size for grilling for the entire group! We enjoyed walking, boating, fishing, playing sports and boardgames, playing cards, drives and BBQ. The week was perfect with the lack of cable TV. The decor in the upstairs single room was VERY nice. Thank you!

Very pleasntly surprised with daily showers that cooled weather. Rains were pure rains rather than storms. Driving through the corn fields was extremely lovely as well. Tom and Theresa had actually taken care of quite a few necessities with ammenities. Getting away from cable TV, internet and great cellphone connectivity was a blessing in disguise.The actual home itself was very "homey" and self-sufficient, confortable and cozy. Thank you for letting us have a wonderful time in a perfect setting for a grand re-union.

Lovely little cottage! Theresa and Tom were readily available and helpful to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The girls loved their first boat trip and sleepover in the bedroom they shared. We boated on the lake, cooked out, and watched fireworks in Marshall. Thank you so much for a wonderful weekend!

The stay at Cottage of the Lakes was outstanding! Very comfortable and quiet, the accommodations were great and made you feel at home! The fishing was very nice for all and the dock provides a nice shady spot to catch some bluegill, crappie, and the many other species the lake has to offer.

We rented this listing in hopes of a quiet fun weekend at the lake fishing with our 2 boys and their grandpa. We did just that. The cottage was absolutely beautiful. The owners had done a great job with the decor. We fished everyday on their dock which is located just across the street from the property. We have stayed at several rental properties in the past and this one is the best so far. Thanks to the owners for having everything so perfect for our stay. We are already planning a trip for the fall.
