Jeff and Judy, you two have the most wonder guest cabin we have ever stayed at.If VRBO had a "Top Pick" your place would be at the top !!! It had everything you described and then some. Beds were very comfy and the girls all complimented you on the sheets..(and all the little extras that the women like) From the fishing on the lake for walleye and SM Bass to the fantastic back yard for family croquet to the swimming with some sand bottom that could rival some of the Caribbean beaches we have been to. Golf at Fiddle Sticks was great,we paid $45 for unlimited golf/cart and that included a $10 food voucher.. Stories around the fire pit at night were memories we will have for life. It is amazing the amount of stars that are visible when you get away from the city lights..There is no way one could ever get thru all the movies you have in your collection. Thank you from all of us, we look forward to coming back again next year , Dave and Debbie Koonce Allie and Josh Appel Malorie, Ross and ZoeRecommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Thanks Jeff and Judy for such a great week! Our "Guys Fishing Trip" was awesome. You cabin is just perfect. Clean, well stocked, and a great location on the lake. Jeff was there to help out and checked in throughout the week, to see if we needed anything. We had easy boat access, via the private ramp and a dock for two boats was just what we needed. Couldn't ask for anything better. We'll be back for sure.Recommended for: Adventure seekers.

This cabin was everything we had hoped it would be and more. The owners were very friendly and great to deal with. The boat launch, harbor and dock were great. The cabin itself was immaculate as was the yard and surrounding grounds. We had two couples, the guys went out fishing and the wives stayed back at the cabin and scrapbooked. It worked out perfect. We ate diner one night at Flagship (Jeff's recommendation) and the food was great. We look forward to return visits in the years to come.Recommended for: Girls getaway, romantic getaway, age 55+.

First off, the cabin is nearly new. It's really hard to describe it as a cabin because it is a home. Upon walking in, it was spotlessly cleaned and smelled fresh. We went from room to room and not only was it furnished beautifully, but it came stocked with many of the essentials that we brought with us from home. It really has all the comforts of home. The beds were comfortable with exceptional bedding, especially in the master bedroom. The towels were plush. We hosted a get together for our extended family one afternoon and the cabin had everything we needed to prepare and serve the food. The owners' cabin is nearby so they were easily accessible if we needed them for anything. We enjoyed s'mores around the fire pit. They had the fire wood all ready for us. We can highly recommend this cabin if you are planning a stay on Mille Lacs Lake. 5*++++ cabin! The owners were easy to communicate with, very friendly, and showed a genuine interest in us having a great stay at their cabin. We WILL be repeat customers!!!!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Hi, We just got back from a week at the cabin. The facilites at the cabin were first rate and the convenience of the boat dock was excellent. Highly recommended !! I launched my 20' LUND at the ramp near the cabin and spent a week fishing big Mille Lacs. We caught many walleyes over 25" and one over 28".Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers.

This was our second stay at the cabin and it is just the best cabin ever. So well furnished and so very cozy and comfortable. Judy even supplied some kitchen stuff we requested. We cooked all of our meals there in the well stocked kitchen. We hiked at Mille Lacs Kathio State Park and at Father Hennepin State Park. We took the drive around Mille Lacs stopping in Garrison at the old CCC lookout. We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin and want to thank Jeff and Judy for building this wonderful cabin and making it available on VRBO. We love your cabin and we will be back again!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We were lucky enough to call this cabin "home" for a long fishing weekend and it had everything a person could need. We got to chat with the owner and he was so helpful with fishing tips and just made us feel so welcome! The was very clean, well maintained and the furnishings were very comfortable. There were 3 couples in our group and we all said we would stay here again! Thanks for a great weekend!Recommended for: People with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

This cabin was by far the best VRBO place we have ever stayed at. It was clean, well maintained, and all of the furnishings and appliances were top quality. We loved the knotty pine walls and ceilings and the kitchen was absolutely the best. We cooked all of our meals in that wonderful, well stocked kitchen. The beds were comfortable and the linens were best quality. It was like a dream come true to stay in this wonderful cabin. We hiked in nearby state parks--both Father Hennepin and Mille Lacs Kathio. Isle is a wonderful little town and we were able to find Internet access in a local coffee shop. Judy, the owner, was very accommodating and even gave us a second set of keys for the other couple who were staying there with us. Our three night stay was one of the best mini vacations we have ever taken. We look forward to going back and staying at this state of the art cabin again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

After a long transatlantic flight we spent the night in Minneapolis before taking the easy 2 hour drive to Mille Lacs . Having rented villas and townhouses before in the USA we were hopeful of finding a good clean , well appointed cabin .Our expectations were met and exceeded , immaculately clean , everything had been thought of . It felt like we were the first people to use the accommodation . The local residents were more than helpful with information and very welcoming . Provisions can be obtained from Isle , 10 mins away by car . A detailed folder of local amenities is provided highlighting local restaurants and beauty spots . We especially enjoyed rides out to Khaito State Park and the Indian museum .A most restful stay with glorious views of the lake . As wildlife enthusiasts we enjoyed the eagles and nightly views of our own "Mr Fox ", who lives at the back of the garage . He seems to go out hunting around 7 pm each evening . We moved on to the north shore of Lake Superior after 5 days in Mille Lacs . We would not have the slightest hesitation in recommending this cabin to everyone . Absolutely exceptional . Our thanks to Jeff and Judy for all their advice on the local landmarks and making our vacation so memorable . We will return !Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
