Cyprina Beach 6 is a charming, comfortable, updated condo and perfect for this vacation and the future! Relax by the pool or on your lanai, walk and shell on the beach, watch for dolphins, or bike to "Old Sanibel" at the East End of Sanibel and the Sanibel Lighthouse for special memories to take home.
Sanibel is a barrier island connected to the mainland by a 3-mile-long causeway that stretches from the southern reaches of Fort Myers out across Pine Island Sound, where the Caloosahatchee River empties into the Gulf of Mexico.
Created by nature to protect the mainland, the palm- and pine-tree lined islands are famous for their beaches and the incredible variety of shells on their shores. And also for their reluctance to allow too many intrusions of the modern world: there are no stoplights on either island, and buildings on Sanibel are “no taller than the tallest palm tree."
Sanibel has been used variously as stopovers for Spanish explorers and resorts for the rich and famous, including one very special cartoonist, Jay Norwood Darling who helped create the more than 6,400-acre national wildlife refuge that bears his name.
Visitors to the island enjoy not only the natural, ungroomed beaches, but also the languid pace of island life, great restaurants, theater, small museums.

There are numerous direct flights from many cities in the US to Ft. Myers International Airport (RSW). From the airport it is only a 30 minutes drive to Sanibel Island.

We totally enjoyed our stay at Cyprina Beach! Your vacation home was everything the pictures and description stated. We loved sitting out on the Lanai and watching the Osprey, Pelicans, and the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. Our favorite thing is the morning walks to the lighthouse, collecting shells and hoping to see the dolphins playing in the water. This is the first time since coming to Sanibel that we have had an entire complex all to ourselves. We truly enjoyed this experience as it was peaceful and quiet, something we both really needed. We have been coming to Sanibel Island since 2000. Every year we talk about going to another place but the lure of the island keeps calling us back. We enjoying spending time bike riding, playing miniature golf and shopping at Periwinkle Place. This year we tried a new restaurant on the Island called George and Wendy's Bar and Grill and the atmosphere and food was great. Of course we frequented our favorites, Lazy Flamingo for the best peel and eat shrimp, The Hungry Heron, Sanibel Cafe, Pinocchio's for the best Italian ice cream and of course the famous Bubble Room on Captiva. We were disappointed this year that Grandma Dots was closed and we missed the best Key Lime Pie on the Island. Another recommendation would be to take the Key West Express on Ft. Myers Beach for spending a day in Key West. It was awesome! Klaus and Sigi, thank you for sharing your beautiful vacation home with us. We enjoyed conversing with you in planning our stay and one day hope to meet the both of you. We definitely will recommend your property to others and will return for future vacations.Recommended for: Families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Just wanted to take a minute and let you know that we are enjoying your place very much! The weather has been 85 degress or higher. Alittle rain today. The company you have hired to manage yor property is doing a good job. We found it to be very clean and things being taken care of quite well. Thanks for leeting us share your place. Has been great! We had a wonderful week at this condo. The air flow thruogh the rooms was lovely and we had no need of air conditioning. The view from the screened in pourch was beautiful, and the bedrooms were comfortable. The beach was very clean this year as compared to other years. We enjoyed wlaking to the lighthouse and Cafe at the East end of the Island. We really enjoy breakfost at the Lighthouse Cafe. We also rented bikes and did a bit of riding. the trails are wonderful. We love riding to the library.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

10 - 18 mar, 2010 Our first trip to Sanibel ~ ( our first vacation to Florida ! ) . Cyprina Beach 6 was bright, open and airy, as expected. Lunch on the lanai, views of the pool + beach, shelling, walks to the lighthouse, biking to Ding Darling and tennis kept us very busy. The island is beautiful and the location worked very well. We felt very welcomed at your home and supported by the staff. After spending weeks and weeks to choose just the right place, we feel we have found it. over all an ok experience. not really beach front as described but clean and had enough room. with layout was hard to adjust heat in home as the control was upstairs. but nice property and clean which is a big plus.Recommended for: Age 55+.
