Go crabbing or fishing with the kids and show them how the simple things are really what matter. Don't miss the crimson sunset over the creek from the back porch at day's end. The house is family-owned. It is simple in its decor, but comfortable....in fact, many of the same families have been renting this cottage for over 20 years! It has three bedrooms (each with a queen bed) with a full bath between the first two bedrooms and a 1/2 bath attached to the master bedroom on the oceanside.

Stayed here for the kid's fall break in October with my mom and my mother-in-law. When they say beach front, they mean it! We wanted to just enjoy the beach without anything touristy and this was perfect. The house is very comfortable and I didn't have to worry about the kids ruining anything. The owners are super responsive if you have any issues. This place is simply fantastic.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We were very happy with the location of the house, its condition and the unique character of Pawley's Island itself. The creek was intriguing to our kids who enjoyed catching Blue Crabs and digging up clams. The beach itself is very walkable and was good for shelling and finding starfish. There are easily accessible stores off the highway, but once you cross the causeways to the island you feel like you are leaving the city behind. The owners have maintaned the house well and it was perfect for a getaway weekRecommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Best vacation ever. On a scale of 1-10, we give it an 11! Owners are quick to respond to questions/needs. Listing and pics are accurate. Accommodations were very clean and maintained. Right on ocean (almost in ocean at high tide!) We thoroughly enjoyed this house and plan on returning. Owner was extremely friendly very helpful with information. A pleasure to rent from.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.
