WOW! We arrived and were just blown away by the property. The photos are wonderful, but cannot give you the feel of the tranquility you experience when you drive in the gate to the property. Our group was diverse in age as well as interests, but we all had a simply wonderful time. The view from the back lanai provided us with views of many whales and a lovely sense of serenity. The pool out front provided hours of entertainment and the opportunity to soak up the sun's rays. The access to the beach was easy to find and the privacy the cove afforded was enjoyed. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with appliances and easy to use to provide meals at 'home' for our crew so that we could continue to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. We did venture out to the Polynesian Cultural Center and had a great time seeing the sights there as well as enjoying their luau and show. We hope to be able to return to the house for future family gatherings!Recommended for: People with disabilities, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: We love being at Wavecrest Estate for all of those same reasons! We can shut the gate and shut out the world. After a day trip into Honolulu we love relaxing on the oceanside patio with the sound of the waves. Please come again.

WOW! We just kept saying WOW as we walked into the house. On the lanai we saw whales spouting, before unpacking!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 4/5

About the owner: We live a life balanced between work, adventure, and relaxation. We love our home not only for the panoramic view but also for the fun that the nearby ocean and mountains provide.
Why the Owner Chose Laie:
This property was right for us because of the nearby activities, yet the property itself acts as our private retreat. We appreciate the family oriented Christian values evident in Laie town. Our days may be filled with kite surfing, kayaking and golfing, but in the evenings we sit on the deck enjoying nature's beauty in the miles of coastline, ocean, mountains and passing clouds. In winter the humpback whales pass by while we watch from the deck.
