Keyless entry and garage door opener so that family can just pull directly into the 2 car garage with ease with direct access without fumbling for keys after a long day of vacationing.!! ...Beautiful newer home in quiet subdivision. 3 bedroom, 2 bathrooms..large jacuzzi in master, 2 car garage, home backs up to farm land, cows can be heard mooing, an occasional rooster crowing, and in Spring you may hear the geese honking as they land on the pond below.Song birds abound.....as music to ones ears. 1800 square feet with comfort for the whole family. Large Master bedroom with pillow top bed. Beautiful master bathroom with jacuzzi. Gas fireplace in the livingroom on those chilly nights to snuggle up on the couch with a good book. All the comforts of home available at the same price as a single hotel room. Come and share our home with us, I know you will love this cozy home!!
Master bedroom has a King size bed with memory foam topper. The other two bedrooms have a queen size bed with a feather bed topper for extra luxury and sleeping comfort. There are also two camping cots and two sleeping bags for those who have a wee one that may want to sleep close to Mom and Dad. OR, for someone extra that may decide to sleep on the couch. In that case home could sleep more, but sleeps 6 comfortably.
Kitchen has been stocked with the basics that you would need to prepare a meal. This is our vacation home and we believe that we have everything needed for large and small meals. We want to make this feel like YOUR home away from home....so that you can truly enjoy your time, like we do when we are there.
Hair dryer, Curling Iron, Steamer for your clothes (instead of an iron) (both located in master bathroom drawer for your use). There are several books for those who enjoy long stays. You may utilize any of the products that are in the home for your own personal use......bubble bath, shower gels, lotions. Feel pampered, while supplies last. There are two camp chairs and 3 lawn chairs that can be used for enjoying the back patio that backs onto farm land. There are also 4 folding chairs and folding card table in closet for more elbow room for dining or playing board games or cards (cards are in the secretary in living room.). Marble game in the master closet. There is also a table and chair in the master closet for private computer work, as needed.
PET CRATE PROVIDED for those with pets. Please bring your own pet bedding though and thoroughly clean any mistakes made in the crate.
Due to our size and limited occupancy, we can not welcome everyone. Our occupancy is limited to 6 guests + 2 extra visiting day only guests. We do not host events or other stays; we do not provide a venue for parties, ceremonies, workshops, social gatherings or business meetings. Holiday gatherings are only allowed with prior approval of number of guests in writing by owner. Thank you for your kind understanding.
Please pray for our troops! My youngest son and his wife have returned to the US from his tour in Kuwait/and from his station in German. He has also served a tour in Iraq. My son-in-law has served four tours in Iraq, and is now in Afghanistan. Please just take a moment and pray for all the troops and their families. Thank you......from a Mom who loves her soldiers! home was very nicely decorated with lots of good books, kitchen was well equipped lots of pans etc for use. very quiet neighborhood we spent most mornings and evenings at home just relaxing, reading or watching tv. Because of the quiet neighborhood we were able to get outside and walk a great deal. overall a very good time, very comfortable home and we would recommend this location to anyone looking for a very nice, well equipped and comfortable place to stay. google and map quest did show one of the streets in the wrong place and gave us a challenge to find it the first time.Recommended for: Age 55+.

We found this house to be perfect for a family gathering place during a vacation near Springfield. The cost was very reasonable considering the square footage offered and compared with a motel/hotel. We are 55, and our adult chidren (with two babies), were going ziplining in Reeds Springs. We babysat the two grandchildren while they went to "ride the wires" through the Ozark mountains. The house is in a quiet, newer subdivision, sitting atop a hill, with no development behind it. It has a very large unfenced backyard for yard games. The rooms inside were clean, spacious and beautfully decorated. The beds were large and comfortable-this is always a highlight for me. The two smaller bedrooms share a bath, each has a large closet (large enough for a portable crib to fit in). The master bedroom and bath are enormous and complimented by a large walk-in closet (more like a hidden room than a closet. A full kitchen is available; as is Cable TV and DVR; and a fireplace in the winter. This locattion is between Springfield and Branson and is a perfect base for a family vacation in the Springfield Branson area. Much more economical and cleaner than several motel rooms. Various restaurants and stores are 5-15 minutes away in Ozark, Mo. and the main highway is 15 minutes away. I highly recommend this rental house for any visit to the Springfield/Branson areaRecommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

The quiet family neighborhood was very peaceful and relaxing. This appears to be a newer subdivision and some street signs were not in place, but that was the only problem we had. We absolutely loved everything about your home, The house is beautiful, clean, and had everything that we needed. The neighborhood was very quiet. The house is conveniently located to walmart and lamberts and to other ciities that we visited (Branson & Springfield). If we ever visit Branson or Springfield we hope to stay in your house. Our traveling speaker group had the privilege of staying in this home and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home was immaculate and well supplied. From the first moment we walked in, we felt comfortable and welcome. We spent two weeks in Missouri visiting family and seeing the sights and we would not have been able to do either of these if we were staying in a hotel. We are former midwesterners so enjoying the peaceful backyard, complete with cows, was an added bonus. Every thing in Wendy's lovely home was clean and well maintained and I can't wait to come back. My husband says we are spoiled now and will never be happy in a hotel room again.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This home is very well maintained and very clean. It is the perfect distance between Springfield and Branson. Even though we were only there 2 days the house provided a great living room that allowed for relaxation after 2 busy days. The neighborhood is very quiet and it was an enjoyable experience.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This home was perfect for our stay in Missouri. My daughter's wedding was the center of our attention for our visit. It not only was great for baking and preparing foods for the Bridal Shower, but just the right size and very comfortable for my daughter and two friends from out of town, which were in the wedding. It was only eight miles from the venue in which the wedding took place. It was so nice and quiet there which made it easy to relax. My husband and I were so pleased with the home that we would love to stay there again. I would recommend this property to anyone that would like to be close to Springfield and Branson because it is between them. If you don't want all the traffic and noise of the city then this home is perfect for you. Shopping was very close by, and one of our favorite restaurants, Lamberts was less than ten minutes away.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

I almost don't want to write this. I don't want people to find out about this house. If it gets booked a lot, I may not get it all the time when I want it. The house is wonderful, the owners are very kind and understanding of my needs and inability to follow directions well, and the more I think about it, DON'T book this house, leave it for me !Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

About the owner: I am a retired mortgage lender wanting to find something to do. While looking for a vacation home, it occurred to us that others would enjoy this home as much as we will. While we are not looking for substantial profits, we are excited to reap the rewards of sharing our home with others. Come and enjoy with us and enjoy the wonders that Missouri has to offer!

This is not just an income property but truly our get-away. We know that you will love your stay here as much as we do. It is close to Springfield and Branson without being right downtown. The neighbors here are quiet and considerate, but friendly and helpful. You couldn't ask for better. They are the reason that I made the decision to purchase this home in this neighborhood.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
This home was built in 2006 and so has lots of updated features..........hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings, open floor plan, large master bathroom, with jetted tub, extremely cozy, comfortable and relaxing. Not too fancy, but gives you the ahhhhhhhhhhhh factor that you look for while on vacation. Every year we add a little something to this home to make it even more comfortable. Come back often to see the additions.
There is a grocery store and a 24 hour walmart within 4 miles of home...close to everything, but quiet like in the Country.
