The quiet family neighborhood was very peaceful and relaxing. This appears to be a newer subdivision and some street signs were not in place, but that was the only problem we had. Ozark is a very nice town and we do plan to return soon! Thanks again!

We absolutely loved everything about your home, The house is beautiful, clean, and had everything that we needed. The neighborhood was very quiet. The house is conveniently located to walmart and lamberts and to other ciities that we visited (Branson & Springfield). If we ever visit Branson or Springfield we hope to stay in your house. Our traveling speaker group had the privilege of staying in this home and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home was immaculate and well supplied. The owner was extremely easy to work with and went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay.

Home Away From Home

From the first moment we walked in, we felt comfortable and welcome. We spent two weeks in Missouri visiting family and seeing the sights and we would not have been able to do either of these if we were staying in a hotel. We are former midwesterners so enjoying the peaceful backyard, complete with cows, was an added bonus. Every thing in Wendy's lovely home was clean and well maintained and I can't wait to come back. My husband says we are spoiled now and will never be happy in a hotel room again.

This home is very well maintained and very clean. It is the perfect distance between Springfield and Branson. Even though we were only there 2 days the house provided a great living room that allowed for relaxation after 2 busy days. The neighborhood is very quiet and it was an enjoyable experience.

The Wedding Stay

This home was perfect for our stay in Missouri. My daughter's wedding was the center of our attention for our visit. It not only was great for baking and preparing foods for the Bridal Shower, but just the right size and very comfortable for my daughter and two friends from out of town, which were in the wedding. It was only eight miles from the venue in which the wedding took place. It was so nice and quiet there which made it easy to relax. My husband and I were so pleased with the home that we would love to stay there again. I would recommend this property to anyone that would like to be close to Springfield and Branson because it is between them. If you don't want all the traffic and noise of the city then this home is perfect for you. Shopping was very close by, and one of our favorite restaurants, Lamberts was less than ten minutes away.

My Summer Home

I almost don't want to write this. I don't want people to find out about this house. If it gets booked a lot, I may not get it all the time when I want it. The house is wonderful, the owners are very kind and understanding of my needs and inability to follow directions well, and the more I think about it, DON'T book this house, leave it for me !

This is a wonderful place to stay when you want to be close to Branson and Springfield. The home is a beautiful and peaceful retreat. Would definately stay there again. Quiet Retreat

This property is an excellent place to stay if you are needing access to the Springfield and Branson areas. Much better than a hotel! I was in the area for a family get together and found this the perfect spot for my alone time. It is in a quiet setting on the SE edge of Ozark Mo. The house is nicely appointed and the master suite is awesome! It has a garden tub and separate shower unit. If you have a family there are two additional bedrooms and a full bath. There is plenty of room to spread out. I enjoyed the home like setting and was well rested when I departed ! Wendy, the owner is just an email or call away if you have questions or concerns. There are great restruants near (within 10 miles). Closer if you are not too picky! I will be staying here again my next visit.

Wonderful place to stay! Has the personal touches and feel like it's actually a home and not merely a "vacation rental property" which makes all the difference. Coming from a larger city - it certainly was a new experience to listen to the cows in the mornings. Very clean, all necessary linens were in fantastic shape, and it was very nice to have use of the garage. Also appreciated the kitchen being fully equipped with cookware, spices, condiments & coffee.

Our Home Away From Home

We were able to stay in "our" home away from home for 2 weeks this year. It was wonderful!! The first week we were able to go to the Ozark Community Center (10 minutes from the house) every day. It has a terrific indoor pool with a waterslide, fun for kids. We spent our time on the basketball courts. Branson is about 30 minutes from the house. We took in Dixie Stampede, Kirby's magic show, and Silver Dollar City. All 6 of us recommend these attractions! Our favorite souvenior shop is the 5 & 10 in Branson. The house has a terrific location because Branson is so close, as is Springfield. This was our 3rd year to stay in this house and we always find new things to do in the area. There is a fun used clothing store in Ozark called "Weezies". Another favorite is the 3rd Street Used Books Store. My daughters and I could spend all day in that store. For shopping we head to Springfield to the Glenstone Mall area. There again, it is maybe a 20 minute drive, which is great! We highly recommend this house! We have 4 children and we love the fact that we can cook at "home" and relax and unwind there as well. There is enough room in the house for everyone to have their own space. This is so important! The neighborhood is very quiet and beautiful too. This house is worth every penny! We often talk about how blessed we are to be able to stay in this house and how awful it would be to have to spend one or two weeks (the 6 of us) in a hotel. It would not be pretty!! Thank you, Wendy, for opening up your home to us again this year! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Also check out James River Assembly on Sunday mornings. That has become our church home when we are in Ozark. Staying in this home makes traveling so enjoyable! Blessings on your stay!

After driving 1350 miles in two days, and preparing for our son's wedding, this was a wonderful home to stay in. So much better than a hotel room and much, much more comfortable and relaxing. Well maintained and had everything we needed while there. Not in a busy or high traffic area, yet close to any shopping needs you may have. I would highly recommend this home to anyone who is planning to stay in the Springfield or Branson area. Wendy was terrific to work with, making sure we had all the information we needed and checked in via email to make sure everything was OK. Looking forward to another trip to Missouri and hoping to stay here again.

Great to Stay for the Holiday!

This home would be wonderful to rent anytime of the year but it really made our Christmas vacation to visit with family even better. It felt nice to have somewhere to sit by the fire and watch movies after long but wonderful days spent with family members and friends. It was also nice to have a few of our family members stop by and be able to visit, just can't do that kind of thing in a motel/hotel. It even had cute Christmas decorations, very nice touch by the way. We really enjoyed all the amenities that this beautiful house provided. It was more than enough space for my husband and I to feel very comfortable. We won't hesitate in trying to get this house when we want to come back for another visit. Holiday Getaway

My husband decided to add in just "one more marathon" for the year, so I started checking out options for lodging in the Springfield area. Wendy was terrific and so accomodating when my husband's work schedule changed at the last minute. The home was beautiful with so many extra touches. We instantly felt right at home, with lots of room for everyone to spread out. The later check out allowed us to relax Sunday morning before heading out for the afternoon start for Run for the Ranch Marathon. My husband set a PR and I took 3rd in my age group. All in all, a terrific weekend and a great way to start the holidays with our son and his girlfriend. We will definitely stay at Wendy's home again the next time we are in the Springfield/Branson area!

My husband and a friend of ours stayed at this home while we were visiting in Springfield. The house is just gorgeous - looks like a model home. The oversize jacuzzi tub in the master bathroom was so relaxing. My husband is 6' 3'' and had no trouble stretching out. We really loved the peace and quiet of the location and the surrounding woods were just so beautiful. The owner was very thorough in explaining exactly was provided to us and also what was expected of us. The photos of the house are exactly what it looks like. Even though our destination was Springfield, we were pleased to find that the house is very close to Branson also - we will be staying here again and would highly recommend to our friends and relatives.

We always try to explore the option of a VRBO when we travel. In this case, it was just a week-end getaway 2 hours from home. This house was very clean, spacious, and "homey". We felt very comfortable staying there and really sensed a feeling of friends letting us use their home for the week-end. The price was very affordable. Not only would I recommend it to a friend, I'm thinking of renting it for our pasor and his wife for a "week-end" getaway to honor them during pasor appreciation month.

This home is beautiful, very warm and inviting! The pictures on the VRBO listing are very accurate in portraying the appearance of the home. It is well maintained, clean and in a very quiet neighborhood. The owner was very helpful in answering all our questions and concerns. We would highly recommend this home to friends and family! We spent a day in nearby Springfield which was very informative but the highlight was going to Branson which is approximately 23 miles from the home for the wonderful shows.

Ozark home

This was a comfortable, quiet, and clean home. Our elderly parents stayed with us and felt at home in the surroundings (all one level with enough room to move around comfortably). We had one problem with the internet connection, which was resolved by the owner and supplier of the service without an inconvenience to us. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with baking untensils and pans, as well as towels and hotpads, etc. The location was only a few miles off the main highway to Branson, yet was out in the country (the backyard was open to the hills and pastureland). We have stayed in several VRBO properties - this home is why we keep coming back.

Out time spent in this house was absolutely wonderful. It was so nice to have a place to come "home". I spent my childhood in Springfiled and this was perfectly located between Springfield and Branson. I appreciated the fact that we had an atmosphere where the kids could be kids. I vacationed with my three grandchildren and the home was perfect for them. The house was the best we have ever stayed in (and we have stayed in several VRBO or similar). The furnishings were great and the house was awesome. To us, it was especially nice that we didn't have to go an purchase every single little thing we needed for cooking and eating.The refrigerator was stocked with condiments and the cabinets contained the basic necissities and some extras! I loved the sharing of small conveniences that were left by previous renters and the ability to be able to contribute some conveniences for future vacationers. Most importantly, Wendy was a dream to work with and extremely helpful in getting things arranged. She was a godsend. I would highly recommend this property to anyone!

A "G.R.E.A.T." place to stay!! (Gorgeous, Restful, Excellent, Affordable, Too good to be true)

We love staying at this house! The neighborhood is so quiet it is like living in the country. The house is beautiful and has a very homey feel to it. The back patio has a nice privacy fence which makes it a welcome spot to sit and enjoy the sunshine. It's location is between Springfield and Branson. It is a 30 minute drive to Branson so we spent an evening there. We have two favorite gift shops there. One is the Five and Dime, which is in the old part of 'the strip' and the other is a white barn (I don't remember the name of it) It is next to a western shop. The Dixieland Stampede is well worth the money as the food is wonderful and the show is very entertaining. We highly recommend it! Ozark is the city where the house is. We recommend eating at Lambert's (home of the throwed rolls) but be sure to get there at 10:30 am as the wait isn't very long at that time of day. The food is great and so is the atmosphere. The Third Avenue Bookstore is a treasure. This used book store has every kind of book you could think of and at very good prices. Bargains are fun! It is a charming store only minutes from the house. The Ozark Community Center is also minutes from the house. It offers an indoor walking/jogging track, basketball courts, a pool, and a small rock climbing wall. It is a beautiful place. We enjoy taking our kids there so we can all get some exercise. James River Assembly is the church we love to worship in. (allow 15-20 minutes to get to church due to traffic, this is a large church) The people are so very friendly and welcoming. Pastor John Liddell has excellent Bible-based messages that are easy to follow. Check them out online. The Bass Pro-Shop in Springfield is another fun spot to check out. Not only is it a sporting goods store, but it also has live wetland animals too. It is a large store with much to see. If you want to take your very young children to a zoo and don't want to deal with the heat and humidity, check this out. It is all inside and air-conditioned! I am only mentioning some favorites here. There is so much to do in this area, we come here yearly and thoroughly enjoy it every time. Staying at the house is the icing on the cake because it is so nice to have a home away from home! You will not regret staying here.

I'd like to thank the owners for providing us with a real home from home vacation. The house was exactly as the images and was perfect in everyway. It was immaculate. It was also very comfortable and homely. The owner was very helpful with our plans. I'd definitely recommend the house to anyone and hoping we'll be back for the summer.

My family of three boys and their families came to the Ozark area for my Dads funeral. On the way there, we got in contact with this owner. She was able to let us rent this cute home. It was such a relief to have something so last minute. I know it was meant to be, because those were the only dates available in December. God was watching after us. It was so nice and clean for our crawling grandbaby. A nice place to come home to, after long days. The owner even had a small Christmas tree in the living area. I especially liked the encouraging words posted by this patriotic family God bless our troops and God Bless America!

We found our stay to be very enjoyable, the home was warm and inviting, more than we expected. It is in an ideal location, as we traveled to Branson and Springfield. I would highly recommend this property to family and friends. The owners were very helpful with instructions and directions, and displayed concerns with any question we had involving our stay.We celebrated our anniversary while there and plan to return sometime in the future.

We walked in and immediately felt like home! We were able to have breakfast every morning before stepping foot out the door, and dinner with family in evenings after a day of exploring! Our 2 year daughter especially loved taking a bath in the big tub! We loved the access to a washer and drier with a toddler! The pictures don't do this home it's justice! Wendy was incredible and so helpful! We hope to be able to stay here in our future!

We had a great time being at this home for a week. We had considered staying at a hotel, but this was so much better. Our young children were able to run around outside. We were able to cook meals in the kitchen. The accommodations were beautiful and the value was excellent. We definitely recommend this home as a great place to stay.

We loved having ALL the comforts of home and then some while staying here. What a thrill to hear sounds of the country right in the back yard including songbirds and a distant mooing of cows each morning! The home is very spacious and beautiful; we would return in a heartbeat!

We just returned from our family summer vacation to Branson/Springfield. This house is A-MAZING!!! My husband and I and two children, ages 6 and 10 months will never stay anywhere else when we come to the Branson area. We spent a day at Silver Dollar City, a day at the lake, and a day at White Water....along with shopping (of course) and other activities. It was SO nice to come to a "home away from home" rather than a small condo or hotel room! We cooked dinner every night, and the kids were able to unwind and had plenty of room to play. It was exactly the atmosphere we wanted for our vacation - RELAX AND UNWIND!!! The jacuzzi tub was just what the doctor ordered after long days in the sun (even our 6 year old loved that part!!!). If you are questioning if this is the place for you? -- it is. If you are questioning the drive? -- dont! Its easy drive anywhere you want to go!!!! AMAZING!! Oh, and Wendy is super duper easy to work with -- totally worry free vacation!!! Thanks Wendy and company!!!!

After being in a hotel room for 5 days (winning the 11A World Series...yeah), we checked into this house and immediately felt like we had come home. It eased some of the homesickness our 8yr old was feeling. The decor was very relaxing and very clean. We attended a baseball camp in Springfield and the house was an easy 20 minutes to the ball field. We enjoyed the quiet of the neighborhood, the backyard and the 'nice' hill when we went on our walk. It was great being able to cook our own food and relax after a hot day. The boys wanted to keep the house! especially the turtle floor pillow. Thank you, Wendy, for sharing your home, for all of your help; and I know that we'll be calling on you again in the future. May God bless your family and protect your son and his wife in their service.

This home was perfect for us and our friends! We traveled down to tour the area on motorcycles. The area is loaded with awesome roadways for exciting touring. It was perfect. The riding in the Ozark area was fantastic! We went all over. As far north as Osage Beach, to the west Missouri / Oklahoma border, south to Eureka Springs Arkansas (west around tablerock)and route 125 to Arkansas (east around the lake, where you can take a fairyboat across if you should choose so) was amazing! It was all good!! We were not there for the tourist areas but we were close enough to get in and out, without having to deal with the the traffic / congestion on a daily basis. We loved your home. It is a beautiful home and we enjoyed it dearly. We felt very comfortable and right at home. The Christian messages were well recieved as we enjoyed our conversations and fellowship time in the evening. The owners were honest, kind and considerate to deal with. Transactions were as easy as 1,2,3. It was a blessing! We will definitely pass on the location to family and friends and will consider another stay in the future.

My family & I felt right at home in this beautiful & well-kept property. We were perfectly situated between Branson & Springfield, two places we were visiting during our stay. Everything was spotless and cozy and there was plenty of room for all five of us, including three small children. We will definitely be back the next time we're traveling in the area. Thank you!

This home was a wonderful experience for my husband, two of our daughters and myself. Loved the keyless entry (no lost keys!), the neighborhood was so quiet and the location is great if you're visiting either Springfield or Branson! Wendy was a joy to work with too. We shared many special conversations over breakfast with our daughters and look forward to visiting this home again in the coming year.

My own family and I have just spent the last 2 months in the home. We had the most wonderful time. We played tourist in Branson, shopper in Springfield, Swam at the OCC, kids and adults loved the slide and wave pool, and just enjoyed time with family, friends and neighbors. I have added a few more things to the home for comfort. There are now 3 outdoor chairs, one in the front, two in the back with a small side table. We have added a bbq for those that want to spend more time outdoors. My wonderful husband re-stained my fence....thank you hubby! A new picture adorns the wall from my daughter for mothers day as a reminder of what our troops have done for us. All I can say is that it was very hard for us to come home as it was just a wonderful time for all. The nice thing is that now I get another Spring to enjoy here in Wyoming

What a beautiful home! Thank you so much for opening your home to us. None of us were ready to leave, even after a week of intense basketball! (our girls took 6th in girls 16 & under) We all have terrific memories of our time here. The neighborhood is so quiet, the views are beautiful and the neighbors were very welcoming and we enjoyed our visit with them one evening. As soon as we walked into your home and saw the picture of Christ over the mantel and check out the bookshelf - we knew we were in the right place and that God had directed our path and led us here. POSITIVE !! This home is peaceful and accommodating. LOVED hearing roosters from the front and moo's from curious cows in the back... Standing on the front porch of this home, I felt like a Queen, viewing land as far as the eye can see. I would reccommend this home to both folks I know, and strangers alike. It is a privy and treasure. Thank you to the owners for opening their home and peaceful ways so that my Familys' trip was a better experience. Blessings of bliss...

Our stay at this home was better than we could have ever imagined. The house was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities of home. The home was perfectly located close enough to be in Springfield in just minutes or in the heart of Branson in about 15 minutes. We would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area. I will rent this home again in the future!
