We loved staying in this adorable, cozy cottage! The home is conveniently located in Hot Springs, which made it easy to get wherever we wanted to go in a short amount of time (all while having the peaceful exclusivity you want while visiting Lake Hamilton). Noelle was very easy to work with, and even left behind candies & a bottle of wine, making for a pleasant arrival. Thanks again for your hospitality – We are more than happy to recommend to others!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

As my husband and I turned into the driveway of our favorite cottage we were pleasantly surprised when we saw the new addition to the Lake House.....A HUGE BRAND NEW OUTDOOR DECK WITH A VIEW OF THE QUIET COVE!!!! We spent a majority of our time on the deck enjoying the lake view. When we walked into the cottage we noticed a larger TV, more variety of channel selections, a TV in the Master Bedroom and fast WiFi. This cottage has become a frequent vacation destination for us. The cleaniness, coziness, and warmth of this cottage makes us feel right home. We look forward to our next visit. Thank you Noelle and Randy.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

We just checked out of this Beauty today and DID NOT want to leave!!!! The house is fully furnished and decorated better than any place we have ever stayed. Noelle, will you please come decorate my house?! IT's GORGEOUS!!!!!! They left bottles of sparkling wine, candies, plenty of local brochures of hot spots around town, biking/hiking trail maps, specific instructions about the TV, specific instructions on boat slip and launching area, a BIG basket of fun games, puzzles, books, and cards to play, plenty of linens, a comment book with TONS of remarks from past renters....loved reading through this Noelle! Thank you for leaving bath soap, toilet tissue, shampoo, dishwashing soap, and laundry soap to get us by until we were able to go to the store Saturday morning. The location of this house could not be any better. Sits right off Central Ave and is close to EVERYTHING!!! We found the house with no problem at all! The house sits in a quiet cove and you feel like you are secluded in your own little nest! WE WILL BE BACK SOONER THAN LATER!!!! Thank you for making our visit to HOT SPRINGS a visit we will ALWAYS remember. Looking forward to coming back this summer and sitting out on the beautiful deck that overlooks the lake and property!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Cute cottage, but not "water front" as indicated

The cottage/cabin was cute, clean and furnished. I was very disappointed to find that the property was not "water front" as advertised. There is a private residence directly in front of it with a long privacy fence, so you can't just walk out to the water like you would expect with a true water front property. I was really looking forward to being able to walk out to the lake, so I was very disappointed to find out that I couldn't. For that reason alone, I will not rent this unit again as I felt that it was incorrectly advertised and failed to meet my expectations. Necessities such as toilet paper, shampoo and soap are only provided for a 1 or 2 night's stay, i.e. 2 small rolls of toilet paper, 2 small shampoo/conditioner bottles and one very small bar of soap. Since we paid for a whole week, we obviously needed more supplies. The owners did go out of their way to provide a bottle of wine and chocolates for our anniversary visit, and offered to send the cleaning lady over to open the locked closet where additional supplies were kept, but I didn't want to have a stranger coming over to the house to open a closet for toilet paper after we had already checked in, so we purchased the extra supplies that we needed ourselves. The overall stay was pleasant. There was no bathtub, but there was a shower. There is no alarm clock in the bedroom, very few tv channels, and you have to pay the neighboring condo $10.00/day to launch a boat. The television was small, and seating in the living room was uncomfortable. Positives: clean and cute with recommendations for local restaurants, well furnished. This was my first vrbo rental, so next time I will know to ask more questions as the photos and description of location were deceiving.Recommended for: Romantic getaway

It was cozy, quiet and beautifully decorated! Everything thoughtfully provided. The welcome with the wine and the passes to the races added to this great, little house. We are not racing fans but thought it was a nice touch. It rained almost the intire time we were there so couldn't use nice deck. Even though it rained all of the time we still had a wonderful weekend because of the cute, cozy house we stayed in. Thank you so much for this wonderful house. I hope to return to this house some day.Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My husband and I stayed here while celebrating our anniversary. It was such a cute, cozy house and we loved our stay! The house was perfect for the two of us and was very comfortable. It was nicely decorated (I've even ordered the shower curtain because I loved it, lol!) and had everything we could have needed. We weren't right on the lake like we thought, but we were close enough. We also didn't expect the washer and dryer, which came in handy when we had to clean our warmer clothes because of the cold front that came in. The house wasn't too far from downtown, which was nice and was far enough away from lots of traffic that we could ride our bikes around the neighborhood. Some things to do that are nearby would be hiking mountain tower (a bit of a steep hike, but pretty views at the top), eat at The Porterhouse - fantastic food!! Also, drive to Garvin Gardens - it's only about 20 minutes away and it was beautiful! We loved our trip and will definitely be coming back to that little cottage.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My husband and I planned a quick getaway to Hot Springs for our 3 year old and we were pleasantly surprised at the location and the interior of the cottage. The owners have paid a great deal of attention to every detail which made for a comfortable stay. This place had something for each of us to enjoy :) I was able to enjoy the comfort of having a kitchen to prepare snacks for my son, while dad enjoyed cooking on the gas grill. We had a blast fishing off the dock and playing in the spacious front yard. Downtown was nearby and offered cool shops and restaurants. We will definitely be back for a longer stay next time. Thank you for a such a great retreat Noelle and Randy! Sandra Dallas, Tx Go Rangers!Recommended for: Adventure seekers

The house is really cute and newly done. Its cozy and comfortable and decor was so cool. Myself and 2 grandsons stayed a full week and enjoyed every minute of it. The boys asked to go back next year. We fished and swam off the docks every day, usually twice a day. The cabin is convenient and stocked with everything you might need. All you bring is food. I loved having the new washer-dryer in bathroom. Noelle found out I use a crock pot and had a new one ready to use when we arrived, so after a day of play we came home to a good meal every evening. The view from the bedroom is awesome and the comfortable lounger facing that view was my favorite spot for reading with coffee early in am before boys awakened. I liked the floors and so easy to keep clean. The kitchen is a dream. All the area attractions and shopping are just a minute away. It was beautiful, peaceful and quiet and we saw deer, squirrels and a raccoon, too. I sat on porch and enjoyed a thunderstorm one evening and so it was relaxing. Couldn't ask for a better vacation and I highly recommend it !!! We met a nice family with 2 boys staying next door and the boys played together while the father gave us many fishing tips. I will be taking my hubby there for a romantic anniversary. Noelle has a favorites list of great places to dine and see. It was a super fun time !!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My husband and I rented the cottage for a short get away from the big city. Cottage was charming, cozy and very clean. Our very first time in Hot Springs and enjoyed every minute of it. We rented a boat on Lake Hamilton and jet skis on Lake Ouachita. Had dinner at great restaurants off of Central Ave. Next time we return will be with our children, we know they will enjoy it as well. Looking forward to staying at the cottage again. This was the perfect place for just the two of us. The house was actually better than the pictures online. Very clean, updated cottage with beautiful decor. We sat down by the water every evening and swam off of the swimming dock. It's within walking distance of the mall but you would never know it. It's so quiet and peaceful. I highly recommend it for a couple's weekend. It would also be good for a family with one or two small children as well.Recommended for: Families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We had such a great time. I absolutely love your little house. It was perfect. We did a little bit of running around and saw the sights. We did the Quapaw Bath House. It was great. Checked out Oaklawn on Saturday. We did rent a boat for a couple of hours Saturday just to see the lake better. It's beautiful! We plan on returning. My husband has been joking ever since we left that we need to find jobs over there and move! Thanks again! Sherri PS: Also thanks so much for the bottle of peach bubbly! This was the first time my family and I have rented from VRBO. Noelle kept in touch with me during the reservation process and called us on our arrival to make sure everything was okay. I was thoroughly impressed that the pictures online matched what I saw in person, meeting my expectations wonderfully! Upon arriving, my husband noticed little things around the kitchen that he was eager for and my son found a chest of board games! During a rainy day we watched cable or a movie and the chair and futon were very nice to seat on. My two favorite parts were the lounge in the bedroom facing the massive windows (it was sooo comfortable!), and in the mornings before my husband and son got out of bed, I would go out on the back porch overlooking the lake with a cup of coffee and a book. It was sooo serene! My son also loved the pier on the cove and fed bread to the ducks, geese, and fish. This was one of our best vacations ever and the cabin made it comfortable, peaceful, and stressfree! Thank you, Noelle, for everything!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We just returned from a great trip at this cabin, and it truly was as advertised plus much much more. Everything in the cabin was identical to the photos. We especially enjoyed the kitchen because we stayed in and cooked our meals. It had everything we needed. This cabin was located close to everything, yet far enough away that there wasn’t a ton of noise. We were able to experience an outstanding duck tour (ask for captain crunch), a nice spa day, and a day at the races thanks to Noelle and Randy who provided us with race passes. This truly was a remarkable experience and I suggest that anyone traveling to Hot Springs stay in this great cabin. I know that we can’t wait to return!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My husband& I decided to go through VRBO this trip to visit family, as opposed to staying in a hotel. After a long flight from Park City,Utah and a hour drive to Hot Springs we were pleasantly surprised at the beauty of this cottage and its surroundings on the lake. Everything inside was immaculate and well appointed just like the photos depicted. It felt very cozy and the bed was the most comfortable I have slept in as far as rentals go. Our son slept on the futon couch provided and loved having his own space. Great job in the kitchen, it has everything! We really enjoyed sitting out in back on the deck at sunset with a glass of wine. We had no idea Hot Springs had sunsets that spectacular! Also within walking distance to a great coffee bistro, shopping and a gym. I have never worked with a better owner on vrbo, Noelle was right on it with a question about getting internet! My husband and I loved it and can't wait to go back the next time we are in Arkansas.Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We really enjoyed our stay in Hot Springs. We had reserved a couples spa package at one of the bath houses which was just lovely. We really enjoyed the horse races, too. (Didn't win any money though) The house was very cute and very clean. It was nicely decorated. The kitchen was well stocked. We loved the big bed with the great view of the lake from the bedroom. We were a little disappointed with a few things. We were looking forward to enjoying a fire in the fireplace but it didn't work. The description talked about a brand new rock fireplace. It was one of the reasons we selected this house. Also we could never get the internet to work. We could never locate the wireless connection. The bathroom didn't have any counter space so you had to put everything on the floor. Plus I had to turn off the light above the sink and the floor heater to dry my hair or the electrical circuit would go out but that is expected in older homes. When we arrived the front door was unlocked and the closet in the bedroom was wide open. We finally assumed the cleaning lady left it that way since that is where the cleaning supplies were stored. Although the futon couch in the living room was probably very functional as an extra bed, it was very uncomfortable to sit on to watch TV. We have stayed in several VRBO homes. This is the first one for which I have ever written anything slightly negative.Owner response: We sure do appreciate it when our guests do write reviews. Overall, it does sound like this renter did have a good stay, with just a few minor issues that can certainly be explained. Just recently we remodeled the fireplace with rock and re-painted the mantel. The fireplace is NOT "wood burning" or "gas" due to liability reasons with our rental policy. We do not advertise a working fireplace. Another thing we do not advertise is WIFI at the house. Our neighbor next door has a WIFI router that she has given the "OK" for our guest to use; however, sometimes the signal is low or high. When I send out confirmation email to finalize the quests stay, I do send the "Network ID" and "Key Code" if they would like to try to use the internet. It just depends on certain times of the day whether the signal is high or low. We are looking into getting our own router at the house ASAP, so we can advertise that option. As far as the space heater in the bathroom, we were able to move the heater to the laundry space, which opens up to the bathroom and warms up the bathroom within minutes! Now the light above the vanity and electrical sockets will work at the same time. It is clear that we have a single vanity sink in the pictures we display on our website. The vanity does have a great deal of room underneath the sink to store all your cosmetics. In fact, the weekend before this guest stayed, we had a group of ladies that stayed at the house, for a girl’s weekend retreat. They had a blast and never had any complaints about the electrical sockets not working. In fact, you can read the review they posted below. They were even so kind to write in our review book we keep at the house. The house WAS unlocked when this guest arrived. My husband was next door helping our neighbor, and he came over to the house to get a few supplies earlier that morning. At Noon he went back over to the house to lock things up and the guest had already arrived. I usually do not have a problem with Early Check In, as long as it is discussed prior to the stay. We were not aware that the guest would be arriving early. Check In is 2PM. We always let our guest know they can call us anytime they have a problem, no matter what time it is; we are just a few minutes away. Our goal is to make sure all our guests have a relaxing memorable stay. We do realize we can not make everyone happy, but we try our BEST to make sure we do our BEST for each guest!

I was in Hot Springs visiting with my husband in Dec 2011. We stayed at this Lovely Romantic Lake House over the Christmas Holiday. The house was decorated so beautifully for the Holiday, it made me feel right at home with a Christmas Tree and all sorts of rustic cabin holiday attire. Noelle and Randy have spent a great deal of time and passion on this house to make it feel like you are truely on a splurged vacation. I just recently decided to come back and visit by myself for a weekend getaway. When I returned this January to stay at the house, the Christmas Decor was all put away, and the house was even more than I remembered it being. Beautiful Horse picture and they had all sorts of reading lamps and beautiful decor to make the house so warm and cozy. Every morning I woke up and raised up out of bed to look out an entire wall of windows that had a beautiful lake view. Thank you for all the special treats you left at the house and also having a fully furnished house!!! Made things so easy to just pull my car up to the house and unload my suitcase and get settled right in!!! So nice to know everything was right at my fingertips and all my favorite shops were just minutes away!!!! Just what I was needing for my weekend getaway retreat. Thank you Noelle and Randy for the lovely stay. We spent a few days at this cottage and enjoyed it immensely. Perfect size, easy access inside the property and a great view of the lake plus sleeping with the windows up and the breeze off the water was divine. Price was great as we were there during the Racing Festival of the South and very modest in nightly renatl price. Very close to the main drag of the city, shopping, entertainment, eateries and the track. You will not be disappointed. My Husband and I spent last weekend at this house and it could not have been more perfect! The location to everything in Hot Springs was perfect.Only 5 mins from Grocery, Mall, Walmart and multiple restaurants. We chose to simply relax and hang out at the cottage though because it was so tranquil and comfortable. The house is updated with all new everything it appears. I dont think we have ever stayed where the rental was as clean as this house was. The entire wall of windows facing the lake in view while in bed was so romantic and to be able to step out bedroom door to enjoy a morning cup of coffee looking at the lake was fantastic. The landscape stones as pathway to waters edge were great and we loved that it was so close we could view our baited fishing poles from the house. We felt is was the best location of the surrounding cottages because we had no one right there by us if we wanted privacy while sitting on porch or deck but when we wanted to be on the water or dock, it was only bout 15-20 steps so we got the choice of being with others or alone. The cove is so very peaceful and actually had alot of fish in it. The owner could not have been sweeter or more helpful. I was thankful that she, unlike alot of owners we have encountered didnt make any demands of us prior to departure. In fact, I asked her if we should strip the bed and start dishwasher like we always had to do in Florida, but she said, ABSOLUTELY NOT! That is what the cleaning fee is for. So we truly got to enjoy ourselves right up to driving away. In true honesty, if we owned this home, it would be really hard to trust renters to take care of such nice decor but she makes you feel that it is truly your home while you are there. The air unit was awesome and cooled the home in a matter of minutes which was great when you came inside to cool off. I am a total bug hater and was shocked being in a lake home and did not see one single bug inside this home. MY KIND OF PLACE! We definately will return many times to this home. When you get lucky to find such a personable owner who really wants you to have the best and realizes it is truly your time and provides everything to make that possible and then a home with its perfect location to activity or quiet lake time. you leave there plotting how soon you can return. Kids would love this place with plenty of room and activities to entertain them for hours. Thank you Owners for sharing your home with us, we really were bummed to have to leave.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

LOVED our vacation!! LOVED this house!! I knew it was going to be an AMAZING vacation even before we arrived!! Noelle was quick to respond -- almost immediately -- to all of my questions. And with a tween along on the trip, there were plenty of questionns. ALL the recommendations & suggestions were GREATLY appreciated & RIGHT on target! Our daughter found all the shopping & entertainment SUPER convenient! Her comment when we first arrived was, "OMG!! I LOVE IT!! AND, Mom, LOOK HOW CLEAN IT IS!" Yes, coming from the mouth of a 12 y/o! I didn't think they noticed much of anything! The place is IMMACULATE!! BIG & ROOMY, but still yet COZY!! The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need, including the wine key!! The windows in the bedroom create a SPECTACULAR view overlooking the lake, making you want to linger a little longer over that second cup of coffee or glass of wine. The bathroom is HUGE!! And it was nice having the washer/dryer to do a load of clothes when our daughter "had nothing to wear." The cove is quiet, clean & filled with LOTS of fish!! We landed our kayaks at the dock all week with no problems or questions. The fishing is FANTASTIC, either from the dock or the boat. We had one of our BEST & MOST relaxing vacations EVER!! On the way out of town we already had the calendar out planning our next trip down!! And I wouldn't stay anywhere else but HERE!! I am EXTREMELY picky, especially about a place being clean, and I was TOTALLY BLOWN AWAY with the cleanliness, amenities, and the KINDNESS shown by the owners!! We can't wait to come back!! Thanks Again!!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We chose this place based on the prior reviews. Let me very honest about our stay: Pros: great location in city near shopping, eateries, and attractions, cute cottage with up to date decor, nice appliances and furnished kitchen, house appears very clean, spacious for kids to play onside or outside, supplied detergents to wash towels and dishes once, provided soap and hand soap, paper towels, toliet tissue Cons: disappointed by large home behind house blocking most of view where the tree line is, confused on which dock to go on, ants in bedroom, pillow shams were soiled, futon sofa is HARD, no extra blankets only one set of sheets, deck made for two people, no walkway path from the house to dock, Tired of neighbor dogs barking everytime we come out, front room heat system does not put out heatRecommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: This was quite a shock to read as property owner. Our house has had nothing but positive responses in the past as you can read. We do ALL WE can do to please each and every renter that stays at our pride and joy beautiful lake house. The house sits on a hill that overlooks a beautiful tree line that goes directly out to lakeview. The trees add a cozy feel around the house. Pictures are true on our VRBO listing site, and we do not disclose false information. From other renters reviews we have had some marvelous feedback as far as how beautiful the property is, and the main channel view is breathtaking. There is one fishing/swimming dock that is a very nice size. A picture of this is on our listing as well. The dock to the left of the fishing/swimming dock is ours, which is shown in picture. We have a monthly pest control service spray the inside/outside of house. With the house being a lake house, there will be a stray critter here and there, but our cleaning service is fabulous as far as bringing anything like that to our attention. The house has linens for ALL beds. There are specific instructions located on the refrigerator that tell where the linens are located along with WIFI information and a few other instructions are on the sheet as well. The front room heating unit DOES work. After we read this review we had a heating/AC repair man go to the house to overlook the unit, and the unit is in good working order. At any time, day or night, we are here for our renters and if a problem or issue does come up we will do all we can do to make it as comfortable and perfect as possible. Our goal at the end of the day is to hear what we have heard in the past with reviews and can certainly appreciate feedback. We realize there are just some people that will not be happy. We take pride to make a lasting impression for our renters to have a wonderful memory at the lake house.

Great place to stay. Listing and photos were truthful as far as size and amenities. Less than 100 yards from the lake. Real quiet neighborhood, about a 10 minute drive from downtown Hot Springs and the horse track. Location is excellent. Comfortable bed and living room, full kitchen was perfect. Extremely easy to find as well. Walking distance or 2-minute drive from the mall, grocery store, coffee shop, etc. Clean as a whistle. Booking and check-in process was easy using paypal. We found this online on a Thursday and were walking through the door the next day for a two-night stay. Everything was provided: sheets, blankets, towels, etc. Washer and drier if you plan to stay longer. One thing: bring childproofing gear if you have young kids. We had a 17 month old with us and we wish we had brought electrical outlet covers, fridge locks, cabinet locks, doorknob locks, etc.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

I will start by saying 2500 characters will not be enough when reviewing this house (or the owners). The house is in great condition & very comfortable (very easy to not want to leave). We literally had to force ourselves outside it was so relaxing.. Well our 3 yr old forced us outside! The master bedroom has a beautiful view (from the bed which faces a wall of windows) of the lake, amazing homes, boaters, and a spectacular firework show (its was memorial day and the show was literally right off the back deck). The appliances are top of the line & the house was stocked with everything we needed (including washer/dryer &Grill). Very spacious for a 1 bedroom house & there was plenty of rooms for kids to play.. Once again, a very comfortable home for the four of us. The property is just as nice/relaxing as the home. On a quiet street covered in trees, the house sits on a huge wooded lot. It has a large front yard and long paved driveway for the kids to play and ride bikes. The dock was a blast and was good for both swimming and fishing. The Brim are plentiful and the kids are guaranteed to reel them in all day (my oldest caught his first fish!!!!). The ducks will also come up to the dock and eat. As for the owners, they are nothing short of terrific. From the day we made the reservation to the day we checked out, they were extremenly helpful. They offered numerous tips/ideas on things to do which added even more enjoyment to our trip. Very nice people! Hot Springs itself is a neat town. A rock toss away from 4 of the most beautiful lakes, it is a boaters paradise. Tons of resteraunts and things to do. The National Park area is a must. In closing I will say when it comes to vacation my wife and I have very differnt outlooks. While I call 4 walls and a ceiling in the mountains a vacation, she prefers places such as The Sheraton on Maui, or The Hyatt Key West. Historically she has not been pleased with my destination picks and has since taken control of the vacation wheel. I was able to talk her in to letting me plan this getaway & when it was all said and done, she loved it. We are planning a trip back for later this summer. Thanks Randy and Noelle, The Thomas Family While I call vaction a 4 walls and a ceiling up in the mountains, my wife has a different outlook. She prefers the Sheraton on Maui, or the Hyatt in Key West. Owner response: Thank you for taking the time to write such a wonderful review. It puts a HUGE smile on our face to know we can make an impact on a family vacation...especially one that is so memorable! Come again!

I only live a short 40 min drive away and decided on a whim to treat myself for the first time to a quiet 2 night MOM RETREAT before our two teenagers were out for the summer. The owner is a true GEM and what a SWEETHEART!!! Only VRBO out of about 5 who immed responded to my request and sent info immed. She called me several times to make sure i made it there ok, needed anything, and i felt like i was talking to one of my friends. Location PERFECT, close to everything you could want, IMMACULATE cottage, OMG the shower was awesome and the bed was HEAVEN ON EARTH!! i even wrote mattress info down before i left. Decorated exactly to my taste. I think i spent every daylight hour on dock or a raft and between fishing, sunning, reading, and eating NO FOOD REQUIRING COOKING, I left there wishing for one more night and a RELAXED, CALM, AND UPLIFTED MOM ready for the never dull summer ahead of me. The den is plenty large enough for several kids to throw sleeping bag and have their own flatscreen and space while adults have best night sleep possible in that UNBELIEVABLE bed with entire wall of windows facing out to view open water. I CANT WAIT for my next visit and lucky to be so close, who knows, I just may take my sweet Hubby next time!!!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We truly loved our stay at the cottage. It was everything that we expected and what we needed. The boys had fun swimming off the dock and we enjoyed the calm atmosphere, closeness to boating and other amenities, the view from the bedroom - and the bed is GREAT! I am sure we will be back - hopefully for a more romantic theme next time ;)Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

I apologize Noelle for writing another review, BUT i got online looking for quick trip over spring break and saw Tenn review and DO NOT want potential renters to get the wrong opinion of your BEAUTIFUL place. I certainly respect the fact that we live in America where we have the right and freedom to speak our own opinion so I am not trying to discredit this reviewer that right BUT I simply cannot believe of ALL the positives this rental offers, they chose to complain about the things they did. First of all, I agree as I did in my 1st review that you seldom get an owner who gives a rats behind about your comfort once they have your money like Noelle does. She NEVER made me feel I was imposing and was QUICK to respond to my calls even caling me upon my arrival to make sure I arrived safely & everything was satisfactory. Has Tenn even looked at what smaller rentals ON THE LAKE rent for nightly??At about the same rate, You get IF YOUR LUCKY, a CROWDED Condo complex with loud drunk adults, screaming children, crying babies, and most definately barking dogs. But you get that noise inside your condo, not when walking outside. Ok, maybe there isnt a paved walkway, but GEEZ we are talking a few ft of well manicured lawn, so short of a conveyor belt taking you to the water, it doesnt get much easier. The back deck is not a huge deck but it is available to step outside and SEE the lake and marina, but WHO would really care when you have nice front porch, huge yard if you just want to sit outside OR walk a few feet and sit beside the water with plenty of room for everyone. There was extra EVERYTHING provided, you just had to LOOK and even if not, it takes one hour TOPS to wash a set of sheets. I find it INCONCEIVABLE that IF this renter notified Noelle of ants, heat, or blankets and her DISSATISFACTION that Noelle would respond in ANY OTHER WAY BUT, PROMPT attention and service. It is UNFAIR,AND JUST PLAIN DISRESPECTFUL to display remarks on a net site AFTER the fact & without some responsibility for your OWN Obvious nearly impossible expectations required to make you happy. Hopefully potential renters will see that review exactly for what it is, A differing opinion from other reviews who believes she's entitled to a 2000sq ft HOME sitting ontop of water with maid service and requiring people within 2 miles including animals to just disappear! All for a low rate. Noelle gives EXACT descript and pics and I GUARANTEE she gives her time, availability and BEST to ALL!!!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
