My husband and I just returned from Sunny Isles Florida. The apartment was beautiful, clean and the view is fantastic. The staff at Marena's are wonderful, helpful and friendly. The restaurant in the resort has great food, but the service is a little slow, but we weren't in a hurry. Overall, a great experience....thank you Steve. Patty & Gary K.

Memorable 1 week at beautiful Marenas. Fabulous apartment by Steve! Great customer service w/ many good reviews, responded quickly & clearly, answering questions & solving problems w/ help of wonderful & lovely property manager, Ms. Janet. First time vacation rental, tried others who never answered or three weeks later, or w/ short, unclear messages. Highly recommend renting w/ Steve. Assured that money & vacation will go well. Love Marenas, compared to others, just right. Not too big, or small. Marenas is a Cool and Chic boutique hotel. Terrific, quick service from front desk, valet parking, & pool/beach attendants (especially Scott & Carlos). Slow restaurant service but food was good. Great view, can eat outside at mezzanine overlooking pool & beach. Cool music playing at mezzanine & pool, great place to relax. Drinks available at pool & beach. Whirlpool too hot , 2nd one was better, hidden upstairs, outside 2 well equipped fitness center. Next to fitness is steam room & sauna (Warm up sauna in advance.) Pool had showers with cool feet sprayers to wash away sand. Accurate photos & descriptions. Beautiful & modern apartment, kitchen had what you needed including: ice maker, microwave, blender, coffee maker, quiet dishwasher. Washer/dryer was loud & needs extra time to dry. 2 TVs in living & bed rooms. Slightly lumpy sofabed but sofa was comfy. You eat on counter on 2 hi-chairs or on sofa and coffee table. Small folding table was in closet. Bedroom was beautiful (liked blue wave decor above headboard), had safe, CD/DVD player & luxuriously comfy kingsize bed. Roomy bathroom w/ hairdryer. Free in room wi-fi, internet, & internet stations at lobby. Especially loved awesome view from balcony. Miss standing/sitting there day or night, admiring turquoise color of the ocean, lovely beach, western view of Sunny Isle Beach, etc. Even hi-rise condo next door was interesting to look at. Regret leaving awesome view from balcony. Loved turquoise waterfall in front as you drive/walk in, lobby decor & the fantastic beachfront service. Great children's dugout play area w/ installed umbrellas protect families from sun. Kudos hardworking, attentive beachfront staff providing beach towels, chairs & umbrellas to guest! Only valet parking, don’t need car, frequent buses & free shuttles in front going everywhere. Walk to stores. Pharmacy, eateries, shops, & Med, clinic across street. Walk/drive south to more shopping, dining, & 2 supermarket. 5' drive to Haulover.

Staying at the marena resort was a wonderful experience! The location is great! We did not need to rent a car, as there are plenty of restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance. The condo was spacious and provided all the amenities we would need, and the view from the balcony.... I could wake up to that every day! Thank you Steven, for opening your home to us. I will definitely be returning :-)

I had a wonderful experience staying in this apartment at Marenas Resort! The apartment was very clean, and the resort is beautiful. It is conveniently located walking distance from a good grocery store and right on the beach which was perfect. The area was safe, and the resort staff was very friendly and helpful. Hola que tal!!, Queria agradecerte la oportunidad, a traves de mis primos, de haber pasado 10 dìas en tu departamento del Marenas Resort. Realmente es un paraìso, especialmente su ubicaciòn. El departamento, totalmente equipado, està ubicado en un lugar de privilegio, en el piso 18. Desde el balcon, donde soliamos sentarnos a tomar algo, veìamos el mar, que es maravilloso, y la avda Collins del otro lado, Hemos sacado varias fotos de atardeceres, ya que no nos levantàbamos temprano. Desde ahi, con el auto, nos ìbamos a recorrer Miami, que hacia aprox. 20 años que no veìamos, Asi que fue muy grata la sorpresa , se dieron dos cosas al unìsono, el lugar donde estabamos hospedados y el lugar fìsico. El personal del Resort, todos super amables, Ademas de tener la oportunidad de comunicarnos por internet, que no cualquier hotel lo tiene, siempre a disposicòn del cliente, En fin, gracias de nuevo, Sunny Isles es un lugar de primera. Resultado: Una estadìa inolvidable.

I travelled with my mother and we had a great experience. The apartment has a beautiful beach and marina view, has plenty of space and new appliances. Beach service is great as well as the staff. Location is great for spending time at the beach or going shopping.

Hello Steven. You have a wonderful property. I had an excellent stay. Your condo is quiet, very comfortable and clean. The sunrises and the ocean view from the balcony is spectacular. The close proximity to the grocery store and restaurants was also convenient. The staff at the Marenas Resort are professional and accommodating. The combination of the Resort and its’ amenities and your condo provided for a lifestyle I could very easily become accustomed too. My only motivation to return to Calgary was my family.

My mom and I stayed for aprox 8 days in this beautiful apartment. Well maintained and very nice. Lovely views from the balcony, VERY comfortable bed with white linens, big bathroom and everything working just fine. Easy access to a beautiful beach. Beach chair, clean towels and umbrella were always provided. Not crowded at all. The people at the front desk, at the beach, bellboys and valet parking were always very nice, polite and ready to help you with anything. There's a Publix and CVS Pharmacy nearby to buy whatever you need, and the Aventura Mall is just 5 minutes away by car!

My best holiday

Me and my sister were 11 days in this department and I can only really comment on positive things. It is a clean apartment, all bed linen is white. The bathroom is spotless, and the kitchen is equipped with all necessary appliances (refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher etc... ). Also the decor is nice and minimalist. It also has a terrace with a beautiful view over the beach and the sea. One can down and go to the pool or beach, which has sun loungers and beach towels. It was my first vacation without my children and husband and I believe that this department was a hit, and helped comfort could really relax. I would love to return. Steven, thank you very much for your attention and kindness.

Pretty much as advertised. Clean with great views. Steve is easy to deal with and responsive. Had super weather and the beach is clean and beautiful, Very convenient having the guys with beach chairs and umbrella's. Hotel staff is very nice, too. Some nice restaurants and shopping in the area, and convenient to many fun Miami places.

Just had a great vacation staying at the Marenas Resort. The staff was always polite and helpful. Great location, on the beach, and within walking distance to a few stores on Collins Ave. The place was clean, with good supply of towels, and very comfortable bed. The view from the balcony is breathtaking! I started and ended everyday sitting on the balcony enjoying the view. I had emailed a few owners on this site for availability. Steven was the quickest in getting back to my emails and was a pleasure to deal with. It could not have been easier to book the room. Steven took care of all notifications to the hotel, and just gave me a confirmation number. I highly recommend this location/owner !

Perfect Stay in Sunny Isles

The apartment is a comfortable 1 bedroom, with modern decoration and very complete. You have everything you need to spend a pleasant stay: Comfortable bed, 2 tvs, dishwasher, washing machine w/dry and full kitchen and microwave. We have a 2 yr old daughter and the owner allowed us using the Pack N Play. The building is just perfect if you want just to relax. You have the heated swimming pool with a small bar in a side, beach chairs and towels supplied and if you want you can access directly from there to the beach which is beautiful in this area. There is valet parking and the complex personnel is kind and diligent. There’s a restaurant at the lobby and in the area you have many options of restaurants or delivery. Summing up, we enjoyed our stay at the Marenas and the owner since the very first moment was very considerate and with fluent communication to all our doubts. WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND that if you are thinking staying in Sunny Isles , do not hesitate and just contact Steven.

The best spring break location

My husband and 16 month old son had the most delightful vacation. This property was clean and well maintained. As listed with easy access to the beach. The room was just right for the three of us and my son enjoyed playing on the balcony which looks over the beach and the bay. Loved the features provided by being part of a hotel as there was always somebody to asnwer a question or help out. Loved the location. Easy access to anything you would want. Manhatten Bakery around the corner has great "nibblies" and coffee. We loved the selection of quick but inexpensive food choices that was just a 5 minute walk away. Along with a CVS and Publix. Loved going down to the beach first thing in the morning. Polite and friendly guys provided us with a beach chair, towels, umbrella and even toys for the little one. The owner, Steven, was always responsive. We accidentally broke the door handle to the balcony and it was fixed the same day. I thought 7 days was too long for a vacation and thought we would get antsy.Quite the contrary....loved every moment of it. Weather was delightful. When it rained, it cleared up the same day but took the opportunity to go to one of the biggest malls - Aventura. Loved it!!!!

My wife and I along with our 16 month old daughter spent the Christmas holidays in this unit. The location is very convenient - right on a great beach and a short walk to grocery store, restaurants and parks. The unit is clean and well equipped (and a stunning view), but most importantly, the owner Steven, is extremely accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. We definitely plan on going back! FYI - I never write reviews but feel obligated to given how good this experience was.

We stayed in this unit for nine days in June, 2010, and found it to be almost ideal for a high-rise beachfront condo, with the added value of resort services like a front desk, lounge chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, fitness center, room safe, bar and a restaurant. The beach is wide, long and sandy, and there's a small swimming pool on the beach side of the tower, which is good for small kids but isn't really a full resort-type pool. The kitchen is adequately equipped for cooking informal meals, although the collection of pots, pans and utensils is rather sparse. The bed was very comfortable, with high thread count sheets. There is lots of light in the condo, and there is a small deck facing south with nice views of both the ocean and the intracoastal waterway. Parking is included with the unit (guests who rent through the resort pay $25 a day). Location is excellent, with easy access to Haulover Beach and Park and Miami Beach (the latter about a 30-minute drive) to the south and the Aventura Mall about 15 minutes to the north. There is bus service both directions, which would make it possible to do without a rental car, although we preferred to have a car. Best of all, the unit is a really good value, compared to other choices in the area, and the owner is responsive and helpful on questions and small maintenance items, although we had only a few of these. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our week at your condo. The people working at the resort were very friendly and helpful in all areas including, checking in late at night, the valet team, eating breakfast overlooking the ocean and being served cocktails on the beach. The condo itself was very clean and tasteful in appearance. The views from the balcony are what we all come to Florida to see. Both great views of the Ocean and also views of the coastal waterways. Steven was a pleasure to deal with as we had a few questions relating to the Miami area. He was very attentive to help when I hated to complain about anything in the apartment as is it so nice. The help I needed was related to the air conditioning that was not cooling things down. I sent him an email and within an hour he said someone would be coming by at my convenience to repair it. Within a couple of hours it was fixed while we were having dinner. I would highly recommend staying at Steven's condo who will take care of you if you need help and the unit is everything and more you would want on the Ocean in Florida. Pete

March 2011 had a nice visit, great unit, very comfortable bed, beach view, with kitchen, nice beach with good beach service, publix supermarket across the street, five minute drive to aventura mall. would stay again. Very helpful owner.

The apartment was neat and clean as we saw on the website. People working in the building have been very polite during our stay, everybody keeps smiling. Restaurant, bar, gym, pool, beach access are very well maintained. The building is also well located close to restaurants, grocery store, etc and minutes from downtown Miami. I recently stayed at the European style beachfront apartment and had a fantastic time. The surrounding were beautiful and the beach was gorgeous. It was a perfect location because we were on the beach yet shopping and restaurants were right across the street. The hotel was clean and service was excellent. I look forward to my next trip there. We recently stayed at here and felt the location was perfect, as it was right on the ocean beachfront. The property is conveniently located to nearby restaurants and shopping plazas. Public transportation is close by if you choose not travel by car or rent one. The city of Sunny Isles provides free transportation at it's designated bus stops, one of which is located at the nearby supermarket just south of the hotel. It takes you to the Aventura Mall where the theatres and multiple shops are located. The vistas from our 18th floor room were breath-taking. You will also enjoy the Hotels 2 fitness rooms, 2 hot tubs and pool area and the pool bar libations offered to quench your thirst. The cabana and it's staff are very accommodating on the beach with chairs,towels & tables with a courtesy tip. Be sure to inquire from the owner ahead of time for the incidentals you may need for the apartment itself, as there are some items you will need to acquire. We did not feel the kitchen was fully equipped if you plan to eat in often. The apt. itself is very comfortable and attractive. Although the weather was not very cooperative, the stay at this property was very relaxing. The owner was responsive to any needs we had and based on his responsiveness, we would readily recommend this property to others.
