We were 5 adults (2 guys and 3 females) in town for Essence Music Festival. I am Canadian and booking the condo was exceptionally easy. Check-in was a breeze. As previous comments mention you do have to climb 2 full staircases so heavy suitcases can be an issue. Sherman provided a welcome basket with treats and beverages. All beds were extremelly comfortable. Wifi worked well in the unit and we took advantage of the washer and dryer. Location was amazing for our fun filled weekend. Have recommended this unit to my friends and family and hope to stay here again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+.

My family and I stayed in this townhouse over Christmas and can report that it is every bit as lovely as the pictures. The house is particularly well-appointed with lots of towels, extra blankets, kitchen equipment and even food stuffs in the pantry and refrigerator. For us tea drinkers the only thing missing was a water kettle. Sherman is very friendly and helpful to his guests. If you have problems with stairs, you should know that the rental is 2 steep flights up from the street and then here is a steep stairway within the house to the bedroom level. One area of concern was the absence of a fire escape when we were there(we were told that it was in the process of being replaced). If there had been a fire we would have been trapped in the apartment.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway.

Great location in the French Quarter. Walking distance to all you'd like to do in the Quarter and to the streetcar line. The townhouse has loads of character and was very comfortable for 5 adults during our visit. Sherman was great to meet us and show us around. We loved our stay and would definitely return to this rental.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2

My six girlfriends and I have been coming to Jazz Fest for over 10 years now, and last year was our first stay here. We LOVED it! The space was fitting and the apartment beautifully decorated, not to mention it's a PERFECT location. Thanks Sherman! Remember, you promised us a few more mirrors this year so we won't have to crowd the bathroom :)Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Our family of four, including college aged son and daughter, enjoyed staying at this townhouse while in town for a wedding. The location was perfect and we found all the attractions we were interested in seeing within easy walking distance. As others have commented, the photos are very accurate. The townhouse is charming and comfortable and we enjoyed spreading out and relaxing when we returned from our explorations of the French Quarter. My son took the second bedroom and my daughter enjoyed her privacy up in the loft. The beds were quite comfortable. We felt very safe and secure and found the apartment to be cool and quiet despite the temperatures in the high 90's outside. Although very close to a busy thoroughfare we were not bothered by traffic noise at all. We didn't do any cooking but the kitchen appeared well equipped and it was nice to breakfast lightly on cereal and coffee in the morning without having to venture out. One thing to note is that the "loft" is a true loft. You must climb almost straight up a sturdy ladder made of heavy beam type material. If you are planning on utilizing it make sure the occupants are spry! We were all VERY pleased and we would definitely come back for another stay if and when we return to New Orleans.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, families with young children.

Location! Location! Location!!! This Townhouse is in the perfect location. It is close to everything in the Quarter. The only time we took the car from the parking lot was to go to the zoo and drive thru the Garden District. We were very comfortable the entire stay. From the living room furniture to the bedrooms, we felt very much at home. Sherman met us when we arrived and showed us throughout the home. He also provided us a secure place to store our bicycles. We are looking forward to our next trip to NOLA and will definitely stay here again! Thanks Sherman!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, families with young children.

Great condo, great location! An absolute gem of a place to stay in the quarter. I was there for a bachellor party and we could not have asked for a better place to stay. I am looking forward to my next NOLA visit already. Our host was very gracious and made us very comfortable to have a good time. I will be sure to call him the next time I am in town!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

This townhouse proved to be just as advertised during our recent Sugar Bowl stay. The location and ambiance is just great. Sherman is personable, communicates very well and approaches this as a professional business which we found comforting. Give it a try...bet you like it.Did you find this review helpful?
