  We really enjoyed everything about this property. From the game room to the hot tub. Everyone had there own room and a lot of the rooms had private bathrooms. Which is nice. We even used the golf cart on the first day because it was so nice out. We would definitely stay at the property again. Many memories were made there!

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

  Wonderful time had by all from age 7 to 96. Plenty of room, comfortable accommodations, beautiful home, friendly neighbors and great fishing! Looking forward to coming back in the very near future. Thank you Tara for all your help.

  This house worked out great for our reunion. Plenty of room and things to do. The pics are accurate. I would recommend to anyone.

  We rented Makin Memories for a week and a half for a wedding celebration. We had family fly in from four different states and filled every bedroom. We had an awesome time. The home was set up perfectly for us - the younger crowd hung out downstairs and the older crowd upstairs! We cooked and grilled and had breakfast on the patio. Luckily the weather was perfect during our stay. Tara was awesome to work with. She was always available to answer any and all questions we had. We would definitely rent this home again!

  So we arrived on Saturday to this home and have enjoyed beautiful weather and great family time together. This home however is not contributing to making this stay spectacular. There are small maintenance issues that are nagging and detracting from this home. The golf cart is inoperable and looks like it has been for some time. The kitchen is minimally equipped for a family of 18, the dishwasher is leaking under the sink, the dryer at times takes 2 complete cycles to dry clothes and the beds do not have comfortable mattresses. The layout of the house is strange and can be very challenging to accomodate couples. Lastly, the location is good but plan on traveling for food and sundries as well as activities beside the beach.

  Owner response: This review is very unfortunate especially since it took place in the middle of their stay and after any issues that they identified directly to me were resolved. The golf cart had two tires that were flattened by the previous weeks guests and had to be specially ordered. The golf cart was in good working order for the majority of the guests stay and is properly cared for. The kitchen is equipped with the basic needs for cooking for large groups. There was a leak under the sink which has already been looked into and taken care of. Both dryers operate appropriately with no issues. This is the first complaint we have ever had in regards to the mattresses. The house has a very nice layout which helps in accommodating very large groups. We strive to make your stay as memorable as possible and any items that are ever brought to our attention are handled in a timely manner to allow for that stress free vacation that you are looking for.

  This house was enormous there were many of us and never bumped into each other. There was something for everyone to do either separately or together. When we were in the pool all together it was a blast. The slide was the greatest attraction of the pool area besides the hot tub. To the owners thank u sooooooo much for all the hospitality and the comforts of home. We are very happy with our vacation. Thanks to u HATS OFF TO U...

  We had a great time staying at Makin Memories. The house is well equipped with everything you need, we did not find us lacking anything. The kids love the game room as well as the adults. We were there during an extreme heat wave so it would have been nice if the pool was cooler, but we made the best of it. Also I would suggest more lighting around the pool, some of the outdoor fixture were not working. When you have kids swimming you want to make sure you can see everything. The home was very close to the beach, the golf cart came in handy for dropping people off at the beach. We just could not find close parking for the golf cart. All in all we had a great time.

  Owner response: We strive to make this home a great place for our guests to stay. Our Makin Memories beach house is equipped with all new appliances and features and is kept immaculate and in good working order. We will respond to any concerns that may arise right away and try to correct them within 24 hours whenever possible. While we do have a golf cart that is free for our guests to use this year, there is no parking available at the beach for golf carts or cars except in designated areas.
