THE VIEW FROM THIS 1ST FLOOR DIRECT OCEAN FRONT CONDO IS ABSOLUTELY STUNNING AND SURROUNDS YOU THE MINUTE YOU WALK IN THE DOOR.
Ocean front windows on 2 walls with an additional mirrored wall, combined with it's close proximity to the beach on the 1st floor, provide you with a unique beach experience.
The living room has 2 Sofas and a Recliner. The master bedroom has a King bed and a bath with a walk in tiled shower.
The extra bedroom has 2 Twin beds and the bath in the hallway has a tub style shower. Soft sateen sheets and bath towels, hand towels, wash clothes and dish towels are included. Both showers are chlorine filtered.
BEACH SETUP: includes 4 Beach Chairs, Umbrella with Sand Anchor and Cooler are all provided for your enjoyment.
This may be as close to the beach as you can get. The balcony is only 2 feet from the sand. On the balcony you have a pub table and 2 chairs and a zero gravity lounger.
This condo was completely renovated in fall 2009 and is maintained in near mint condition, with tile floors throughout, fresh paint, new doors and window blinds, enlarged master bath with tiled shower, flat screen TV's, new appliances and all new furniture and mattresses. Many NEW improvements and upgrades for 2013.
The living room and both bedrooms have flat screen TV's with built in DVD players. The luxurious decor is immaculate with the utmost attention to detail, so you have everything you need including a hair dryer in each bathroom, WI-FI internet, Skype Phone with unlimited calling to US and Canada, Home Theater Soundbar plus a Stereo Radio, CD player, with MP3/computer input jack, for a one of a kind vacation.
A well equipped kitchen has most everything you will need, with all new appliances, granite counter tops, cuisinart coffee maker and garbage disposal makes cooking a joy. Filtered water so you don't have to buy or carry bottled water.
This condo has convenient beach front parking. There are no heavy doors or long hallways. The atmosphere is laid back with no dress code, lobbies, slow elevators or parking garages to hassle with. There is also no door keys to keep up with or return. You simply enter a code to open and the door automatically locks behind you for added security.
We love the convenience of first floor ocean front. We can lay on the beach or at the pool and easily run back and forth to the condo for drinks, snacks and bathroom breaks.

Our wonderful family gifted us last Christmas with a long stay in Myrtle Beach. Kaye and I have rented many condos in the area for more than three decades. We agree that our October vacation in 2012 has been the best EVER. The owners are charming and accomodating. The condo was perfect in every way and we knew from the moment we stepped in the door that this was THE Place at the Beach. There are myriad specialo touches you are certain to appreciate as you take enjoy your vacation here as well.Recommended for: Age 55+, sightseeing.

This is a great condo! It's in a great location. The view from the deck is spectacular! Over the years we have stayed at several very nice condos in the Shore Drive area of Myrtle Beach, this one is THE BEST. My wife and I will be back.Recommended for: Age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway.

This oceanside condo is absolutely beautiful! The photos and video posted by the owner are quite accurate, but barely do the condo justice. The quality of the furniture, TV's, appliances, and fixtures is excellent and the seaside decor is lovely. The owner was very helpful and responsive to questions when we made our reservation. The condo was also very clean and everything we needed (beach umbrella, beach chairs, kitchen utensils, dishes, sheets, and towels) was in good order. We would definitely stay at this condo again and we will recommend it to our relatives and friends.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway.

This was one of our best vacations. Staying in unit 1H made it so. This unit is definitely luxurious and immaculate with all the modern amenities and tasteful decor one could want. The proximity to the beach, the view and the comforts of the condo made it one of our very best vacation experiences. I loved the panoramic view and being so close to the beach. The owners are very pleasant and nice people. I would love to return and miss it already!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway.

We had an absolutely amazing time at your condo August 3-20. This was a blessed gift to my parents for throwing us a wedding, and they had a fantastic time. The condo is decorated perfectly and is so cozy- and what a great location! We have been going to the same stretch of beach since I was a little girl, so I've stayed at a variety of properties, but this is by far the best place we've stayed. Access was easy, and dealing with you was wonderful- it felt like family from afar. I would HIGHLY recommend staying here to anyone - what a perfect vacation. A place at the Beach is perfect find for anyone wanting a great vacation. Everything was well decorated and very clean. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. This condo is exactly as described- -even better. So convenient to be so close to the beach. Loved to sit out in the mornings on the patio and watch the beach and enjoy our coffee. The beach chairs and umbrella were a plus. Would recommend this condo to anyone. ENJOY!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

What a wonderful stay we had at your cottage. It was so well appointed and the views of the ocean were Fantastic! I can't tell you how nice it was to be only steps away from the beach! Additionally, it was in the center of everything! We could easily get to restaurants or Broadway at the Beach! We definitely will be back, have book-marked your site! About the owner: Welcome to Maggard's Beach Cottage. We are Jim and Belinda Maggard from Paintsville, Kentucky. Brad and Kristi Maggard from Lexington, Kentucky. Our family loves vacationing in Myrtle Beach and especially on Shore Drive where we enjoy the laid back atmosphere and yet are close and convenient to everything. We invite you to enjoy our Vacation Home as much as we do. It's like having your own beach cottage and living on the ocean's edge.

After renting at APATB III on Shore Drive for many years and enjoying it so much, we wanted to create what we felt was the ultimate vacation experience for our family and share it with others. We completely renovated and customized this unit in the fall of 2009 to do just that.
