  Thank you so much for letting us stay. What a nice vacation we had.The house had everything we needed and more.Tastfully decorated and peaceful. Not much to do, so if your looking for entertainment Edisto isnt for you. Its a very quiet peaceful place to relax. Just what we needed. Lovely vacation. Would return for sure! Thanks agian for a great stay. Heidi

  My family of 4 (two kids, two adults) met up with grandparents and aunt/uncle for a week at Karens lovely home. We had a wonderful time. The house is spacious and both master bedrooms have an incredible view of the ocean from several windows. They open up to a porch, lower level screened in, upper level open, both looking straight out over the surf. The house has a large tv on the upper floor and comfortable living room, and a large island kitchen downstairs. The elevator was a real unexpected bonus, making transporting luggage upstairs easy especially for elderly relatives and giving our 3 year old son no end of excitement. You are steps from the beach and pretty close to the few stores on the island. We go with the family to a beach in the southeast every December and this was the nicest house yet!

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children, people with disabilities.

RENTAL RULES 1. Smoking is NOT allowed. 2. People other than those in the Guest party set forth in the rental agreement may not stay overnight in the property. Any other person in the property is the sole responsibility of Guest. 3. T he owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all g uests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise. 4. Keep the property and all furnishings in good order . 5. Only use appliances for their intended uses . 6. Pets are NOT allowed. 7. Furnishings : Please do not move furniture, artwork, appliances or televisions. Please do not tape blankets or other coverings over windows. Please use the sleeper sofa as intended – extending it only to use as a bed. Children jumping on it while watc hing television will break the springs. Feel free to read our books but please do not take them with you. Thanks! 8. Housekeeping : There is no daily housekeeping service. While kitchen linens are included in the unit, other linens are not provided. For p lanning purposes, our home has 2 king beds, 3 double beds, 1 twin bunk bed and a queen sleeper sofa. Edisto Essentials is a local rental company who provides rental linens, bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, etc. Their phone number is 843 - 869 - 0951 and their website is edistoessentials.com. 9. Fireplace : The fireplace is a non - vented propane gas log fired firebox. Please do not throw any paper or other combustible materials in the fireplace. 10. Water : The home has a reverse osmosis (r/o) system which remov es most of the salt from the water and stores the purified water in a tank under the house. Please do not leave water running for extended periods of time. 11. Storms : If there is a storm or hurricane, n o refunds will be given unless:  The state or local authorities order mandatory evacuations in a "Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning area" and/or  A "mandatory evacuation order has been given for the Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning" area of residence of a vacationing guest.  The day that t he authorities order a mandatory evacuation order in a "Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning," area, we will refund:  Any unused portion of rent from a guest currently registered;  Any unused portion of rent from a guest that is scheduled to arrive, and wants to shorten the stay, to come in after the Hurricane Warning is lifted; and  Any advance rents collected or deposited for a reservation that is scheduled to arrive during the "Hurricane Warning" period. o I agree to these Rental Rules._____________________ __________________(signature)
