With contemporary comforts and a relaxing ambience this spacious two bedroom condo is designed to make you feel at home while offering you the perfect vacation. There is plenty of space for you to move around to enjoy the exceptional amenities like a fully furnished living room with contemporary décor or a fully equipped kitchen complete with cooking and eating utensils, oven, refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher. Relax and unwind in one of the two spacious private bedrooms or reenergize in the whirl pool jetted tub.
Guests are invited to enjoy the spectacular indoor and outdoor swimming pools, work out in the state of the art fitness center or visit the game room for some good old fashion fun with the kids. Whether you are exploring the local neighborhood or enjoying some amazing sightseeing in the Nation’s Capital, Wyndham National Harbor Resort is the perfect place to kick back and relax after a long day.

Policies:
I do require two night minimum to make a reservation. A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking the reservation, if more than 45 days out. The remaining balance will be due 45 days prior to arrival. If you make a reservation less than 45 days prior to check in then I do require full payment at the time of confirming the reservation. I also require a completed rental agreement on file with all reservations. I cannot hold any reservations without a deposit, unless arrangements are made with owner. I do accept Visa, Master Card and Discover to make a reservation and I will mail you a receipt to sign and return to me.
Cancellation Policy:
Currently at this time all rentals are final and no refunds will be issued. We do offer Travel Insurance if you would like to protect your vacation for unexpected emergencies. Please ask for information on CSA Travel Insurance. Should any resort amenities be unavailable or closed due to weather during renters vacation, Goodbuy Timeshare will not be held responsible or offer any refunds or adjustments.
Rates will vary depending on season, weekend/holidays, number of nights requested and time of booking. I do strongly suggest that you make your reservation while the availability is there!

This resort is 5 star all the way. It is a beautiful place, with extremely friendly staff. The National Harbor area is very fun, and to get down town, we just drove to the metro station. It took less than 5 minutes, and there was a parking garage there. Would recommend it to anyone. I cannot overstate the space our family had. After spending all day walking, we could come back to the condo and relax, cook, and sprawl out. Very nice!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, people with disabilities, sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers.

My family and I (total of 5) stayed here for 9 days. When making the reservation I asked about transportation to and from the DC Metro and was told that there was a shuttle. They didn't metion that it was a bus that only ran twice an hour and cost about $2 per rider per trip. Over the course of the week we spent well over $350 just for transportation to and from DC and Alexandria, VA, not to mention the 1 hour trip each way. There isn't alot to do at the resort other than play pool, swim or watch a movie that you have probably seen several times. I was also under the impression that this resort would be like any other where each day a cleaning service would come in and make the beds, clean up the bath and kitchen. At this resort this type of regular hotel service cost extra. Also beware of the welcome desk that is really only interested in selling you a week of a timeshare at the resort. They are like dogs with a bone. There are resturants in the area as long as you are willing to pay the big bucks for a burger and fries. The wi-fi can only be accessed on the 4th floor if you sit in the hallway just outside the elevators, I met quite a few nice people in our make shift wi-fi spot each evening. We stayed more that a week and were told upon check-in that we would have to move to another room at the end of our first week or 7 days only to find out on the 6th day that it would not be necessary. I am guessing this was because we complained. The best part of the resort was that within the first 8 hours of being there both of our toliets overflowed. We had to use all our towels to mop it up and when maintence showed they just used a plunger and said it was fixed, within the next 5 hours the toliets were stopped up again and then another maintence man came and actually fixed the issue. We later found out that several other guests had the same problems. By the way even though the toliet over flowed we were never offered maid service and we had to call the front desk to get new towels. The only grocery store is a CVS and a gormet store. We mentioned all of this to the front desk to which we were told "I am sorry for any issues that you experienced". Needless to say we won't be back to Wyndam at National Harbor or anywhere else. The rooms were clean upon arrival and the maintence man Calvin was a great guy who checked on us several times throughout the week. We could have stayed in DC for about 1/2 the price and ate out each meal for less.Owner response: There are several different transportation options at the Wyndham National Harbor, across the street there is a bus that will take you to DC for $1.70 per person, and this bus runs on the 25 and 55 mark of every hour. There is also a water taxi that shortens your trip and takes about 30 minutes to get to Old Town Alexandria, it is $15 per adult and $10 per child, this price is round trip. Or if you have your on transportation it takes about 20 minutes to get to DC from National Harbor. Wyndham National Harbor is a resort, they do not offer daily maid services unless requested by the guest and it does cost an additional fee. Unfortunately the flooding of the toilets is not something we could control, but assure you that the National Harbor is a new resort and does not have these types of issues all the time. There is also a market within walking distance of the resort, we encourage all of our renters to call the resort to verify all of this, if you have any questions.
