Tortuga Torre is a spacious, 3 story villa with great ocean views just 100 yards from the beach in the Sunset Beach neighborhood of Seacrest. Sunset Beach is on the south (Gulf) side of Scenic Highway 30A at Seacrest so there are no roads to cross on the short stroll between the villa and the beach, where there are gulf front showers and private restrooms. The neighborhood is gated and there is a terrific ocean front heated pool.
Sunset Beach is a small, beautifully landscaped neighborhood nestled between the Rosemary Beach and Alys Beach developments on Scenic Highway 30A in Walton County, Florida, between Destin and Panama City Beach.
The villa is only 300 yards from each of Alys Beach to the west and Rosemary Beach to the east. Alys and Rosemary abound with restaurants, coffee houses, taverns and unique shops.
This spectacular 3 bedroom, 4 bath villa has views of the Gulf of Mexico from all decks. The home has beautiful oak hardwoods and travertine flooring throughout, custom cabinets with granite countertops, 10'0 ceilings, top of the line stainless KitchenAid and Bosch appliances, icemaker and gas grill. Other features include a 2 car garage and over 500 sq. ft. of porches and decks.
First floor bedroom with private bath has a queen sized bed, second floor living area has queen sized sleeper sofa and a full bath, third floor bedroom with private bath has two twin sized bed and master suite has a king sized bed as well as a twin sized sleeper sofa. The master bath has double vanity, jacuzzi tub and large walk-in shower.
Just a 5 minute drive away are new supermarkets (Publix and Marketplace), banks and Pier Park with shopping, new restaurants and movie theatres. The new Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport is only 20 minutes away and has service by Southwest Airlines and Delta Air Lines. Enjoy the 17 miles of bike and walking paths along Scenic 30A or play a round of golf at one of the area's premier golf clubs, the Tom Fazio designed Camp Creek Golf Course, which is about one mile away.

My daughter and I visited this property during Spring Break. It was just like being at home. Beautifully decorated, comfortable, with all of the amenities you could ever need, we had the vacation of our dreams! We enjoyed being only steps from the heated pool and the ocean. The lanai was perfect for sitting and relaxing in the late afternoon and watching the sunset. Having a full kitchen, complete with dishes and cookware was very convenient for our schedule. Located between Panama City and Destin, we liked having ample choices for shopping and dining. The community was very family-friendly and quiet. This was, by far, the best property we have ever stayed while visiting the beach. We hope to be able to visit again soon!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Love this house so much! The online photos do not do it justice. Have stayed twice- with family and for a girls weekend away from the kids. The location is ideal- short walk to Rosemary and Alys. Sunset Beach is a great neighborhood. Great pool for the kids, and the beach is not crowded at all. Beautiful home with an excellent kitchen for cooking, and great restaurants nearby when we were too lazy to cook. Our new favorite is George's at Alys Beach. I highly recommend this home for a great vacation! Look forward to another stay soon.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

I had a wonderful experience at this house- it has everything you need at the house, is just a short walk to the beach, and minutes from shops and dining!! There is plenty of space for sleeping and lounging- I felt like I was at my home away from home. I enjoyed waking up and having a cup of coffee on the second floor porch- shutters open and the sounds of the ocean in the background...it doesn't get more relaxing than that! I watched the sun set over the ocean from the third floor balconly, which is an incredible view! I would highly recommend this property!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

About: We purchased our home in the Sunset Beach community as a place to bring our family with three children together. We especially love the biking along 30A. But most of all, we like sitting with friends on the breezy porch with a glass of wine watching the sunset while our daughter makes the entire family laugh at her goofy stories.
Why Villas at Sunset Beach:
Sunset Beach offers the convenience of being next door to Rosemary and Alys beaches but it is much closer to the beach and offers more living space than any comparably priced (if there are any) homes in those developments. The ocean front pool and easy parking are big pluses too.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Our villa has lots of living space, plenty of bathrooms for a family, close beach and pool access and lot's of unique restaurants, stores and amenities within walking distance. Modern civilization, with big grocers, malls, waterparks and golf, is just a 10 minute drive away.
