    For my recent birthday, I invited all of my female friends and family to join me at the beach. It was a "revolving door" of visitors, and this house not only accommodated everyone, but gave everyone a private space to "live in" while visiting. The kitchen is really well-supplied, the porches on each floor rewarded everyone with views of the ocean or marshes, the house is quiet and cheery, and I can't say enough about Cheryl. I'd love to go back . . . how about tomorrow???

    Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway.

    Words can't adequately express how fortunate we were to stay at 6 Bottlenose! We were here for very special family time before our son-in-laws deployment to Afghanistan. From the moment we spoke to Cheryl we knew we would have a wonderful time at her beautiful home. This was our third visit to Topsail Island this year - both were through the real estate office -one in Hampton Colony for our daughters wedding in September & by far, this home was the most warm and inviting and had everything you could ever need or want. When you walk into the home, it instantly becomes your home away from home. The first level has 2 Queen Rooms with a deck with ocean views, the next room had 4 bunk beds- all rooms are decorated beautifully, the next level- the great room- a living room, fireplace & dining room with a total glass wall - spectacular views-the beautiful kitchen- so well appointed. It was wonderful to have your morning coffee on the deck and watch the shrimp boats go by! Onward to the next level-the Master Suite- Floor to ceiling glass on both sides- views of the Sound on one side & views of the Ocean on the other with a private deck- gorgeous!! Cheryl & Danny are wonderful caring people who want you to have happy memories in their beautiful house by the sea. We are grateful for this time we had as a family at their wonderful home and look forward to a happy celebration and many new happy memories when our son-in-law returns home.

    From the very first time we communicated with Cheryl we know we had chosen the right place to stay, Cheryl and her husband Dan were just amazingly nice people to deal with, they really went out of their way to assist us with all our questions and needs. The house itself is beautiful, quiet, spacious and importantly to us clean, the elevator was a tremendous plus for us and my in-laws as it would be for anyone who needed assistance to get up and down stairs. All the rooms are bright, thoughtfully decorated and deatailed, you can tell that Cheryl and Dan take great pride in their home which they built and decorated themselves. The house is in a great location, just a very short walk to the beach, we enjoyed long and peaceful walks on North Topsail beach each morning , the beach itself is beautiful and clean. All in all we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay, we hope to travel down again (the sooner the better) to visit. Howard and Lynda, West Haven, CT

    We have rented many times on Topsail and our experience with 281505 was one of the best. Super clean, well maintained and the best stocked kitchen we have seen. My son is a chef and we were able to enjoy some great meals and everything we needed was there already. The elevator was nice for loading and unloading and we loved the master suite (the entire top floor) with two decks (ocean side and sound side). Before we came we were slightly concerned about the MBR having a waterbed but it was very comfortable and we slept well in it. It was great to wake up looking at the ocean. We had everything we needed for a great week. The decks on both sides of the house are awesome.

    This was our first trip to North Carolina beaches in 25 years and this home and amenities, made our vacation special. We were able to accomodate 3 other couples, in addition or our family of 4 for the weekend which made the trip extra special since it had been years since we spent time all together. The elevator is so helpful when bringing in and taking out luggage since the master bedroom is on the 3rd floor. You will find the house beautifully decorated and the kitchen and laundry room is fully stocked with untensils and cleaning products. There was even a beach umbrella and chairs that saved us from packing this beach gear for the trip. Thank you for the marvelous accomodations and I would not hesitate to come back to this home, as the owner was so helpful and a delight to work with in planning our trip. This is the first time I tried VRBO to find a vacation home, and I would absolutely trust this website for my next vacation.

From the booking experience to your vacation week, I truly want this to be customer friendly and hopefully the best vacation you've ever had! As mentioned, most people do enjoy the elevator. Our home is 3 floors on pilings, so the elevator is a definite MUST. The master suite constitutes the entire the top floor, and has views of both the ocean and sound/ waterway that just can't be beat! Each floor has balconies, with each bedroom opening out to it. This is a great home to vacation in, at a wonderful beach!

    This was our first visit to Topsail and we loved it! The beach house was every bit as wonderful as it looked in the photos - it was clean, well kept, very comfortable and had wonderful views of both the ocean and the sound. The location was great - close to the beach, quiet and peaceful neighborhood for early am dog walks. (This was our first time traveling/vacationing with our chocolate lab and it ended up being a great experience. She loved the ocean and the dog-friendly beach. We are so grateful that we were able to bring her along for this stay.) We loved the big, bright and open feel of great room. We also loved that each floor, even the top floor/master suite had separate AC zone controls, so that everyone was comfortable and cool. The elevator was a big plus! Owner was friendly and welcoming, gladly answered our questions and made the rental experience so positive!

    What a delightful week I just spent at this lovely beach house. My family gathered here from around the country to attend a family wedding The house met our expectations and more. It is immaculate, well-maintained, cheerful and as soon as you walk in the door you feel like you are at the beach. Our favorite gathering spot was on the front deck looking at the beautiful ocean view and feeling the delightful ocean breeze on our faces. The owner was responsive and extremely helpful. I would definitely recommend this property for your next vacation.

    This is the perfect vacation. House is gorgeous, bright, clean and inviting. We had ages 2yrs.-71yrs. and this house worked for everyone. The views are wonderful and the balconies were used all times of day and evening....watching the fishing boats was a favorite of mine. Bedrooms are relaxing and the master bedroom is spacious...though I was a little surprised the master bed is a waterbed. Bathrooms are large and clean. Kitchen and living area are open and you can enjoy the family while cooking dinner. Cheryl was wonderful and it was a delight to meet her. If you are looking for the hectic summer activities this is not for you. This WAS however the perfect place for our family to spend time together and just relax. Not alot of activites in North Topsail but we were more interested in quiet family time. The beach is beautiful...softest sand I ever felt and, even with the heat, the sand was not hot and the ocean breeze was delightful. Another bonus sitting on the front balconies...the view and the breeze. We would definitely vacation here again. Thanks Cheryl for sharing your lovely beach house with us!!

    Our family stayed at this property in June and had a wonderful vacation. My husband, who is wheelchair bound, found the home very comfortable and accessible. The elevator allowed him access to all floors of the home and all of the doorways are wide. The roll-in shower made things easy on him and roll under counters. The homeowner even provided a small ramp that allowed him easy access to the balcony.The home is clean and well equipped for all your needs. It is across the street from the ocean but still has beautiful views of the ocean. We even brought our pets!! Thanks for sharing your beautiful beach house with us!!

    My family stayed in this gorgeous home for a week! It was truly magnificent!! The home is very well kept. The colors they used really bring out the beauty in this place! There was more room than we knew what to do with. I will definitely recommend this home to others for rent! And I hope to rent it again in the near future!     We had the best time at 6 Bottlenose Blvd! Everything was perfect for our arrival and the listing description was accurate, photos were spot on for appearance and amenities, clean and well-maintained! We were beyond words upon our arrival and very thankful for the elevator and that they allowed our beloved doggies to come with us! We've already requested the same week for next year! We wouldn't change a thing...

    My husband and I spent our first real vacation here and what a perfect vacation it was. I chose this property and handled the booking process myself so my husband wasn't entirely sure what to expect but when he walked into the house he stopped, looked at me and exclaimed "you did good hun!!" The home truly is gorgeous and there's no way to describe how spectacular it was to wake up to an ocean view and then to turn around to see intracoastal waterway. The property is extremely well-maintained and is located in the nicest part of the island. The master bathroom has the biggest shower I've ever seen with beautifully detailed tile work, the elevator was super convenient for hauling in groceries and heavy luggage, and the private outdoor shower for rinsing off from long days at the beach was perfect. We ate every meal on the great room balcony and spent every night on one of the 6 balconies relaxing in the patio loungers listening to the waves. The beach was wonderfully uncrowded and clean and the locals are friendly and welcoming. You can venture into Surf City just minutes down the road and find lots of great small eateries (Crabby Mike's was my favorite), gift shops and busier beaches but we preferred sticking around our quiet more relaxing beach. The booking process was super smooth and the owners are very gracious, helpful and prompt in responding to inquiries. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and more relaxing vacation. We would absolutely recommend this home and we're looking forward to staying here again next summer.
