  We have recently stayed in unit J218 at the Maui Kamaole resort. We found this unit to be very enjoyable. It was very spacious and well appointed. The kitchen was well equipped with a full fridge, stove wth large oven and an ice maker in the freezer. There was also a microwave and other small appliances. The unit is set back form the road so it was very quiet . We woke each morning to the birds singing and fet like we were really in paradise. The view from the lanai was picture perfect. I would recommend this unit without hesitation. We were a family group of 4 adults and one teenager. The layout of the unit gave us ample privacy but lots of fun time together. A truly exceptional place!!

  From the moment we arrived at unit J218 all problems that anyone was feeling simply evaporated. The unit was airy, bright, very clean and well equipped. One of the first things that hits you is the view of the ocean from the spacious lanai, on which we spent leisuely breakfasts and even more lesisurely evening meals. There is also a smaller lanai at the front where anyone who wants to escape by themself for a brief while is able to. The bathroom on the loft level is extremly spacious with an awesome walk-in shower. For those who like to cook, the kitchen is fully equipped and rivals that of any on Top Chef! (there is even a pineapple corer....delicious grilled btw!) Gas BBQ grills are conveniently located just outside the unit or by the pool. The resort overall is very tranquil with the beach just a short 5-10 minute walk away. A grassy knoll preceeds the beach and offers a perfect vantage spot from which to savor the glorious sunsets with a chilled bottle of something. The two pool areas never seemed over busy with the one closest to our unit offering plenty of shade for those afternoon naps. This was a perfect vacation and I can highly recommend both the resort and unit, though would rather not as it's one of those places that you would like to keep to yourself......

  We fully enjoyed our stay at Maui Kamaole J218 and would recommend this rental to others. This is the perfect condo for two couples or a family with children. We were traveling with our young kids (4 & 6), as well as my parents. There was a cot in each bedroom, which worked well for the kids, and comfy beds for the grown ups! The condo was clean, comfortable and had all the amenities of home. Plus, all of the bonus beach toys and equipment made it very convenient. The complex was very nice and in a great location of Kihei. The pool and hot tub were fantastic and right next to our unit for easy access. We got full use of the pool daily. In all, a fantastic stay! We will be back. Thanks for everything.

  The condo was absolutely fabulous for a group of friends to get away and relax. The location to the airport was a plus, once we landed we were on the beach within an hour. The kitchen was so well appointed that we were able to cook all our dinners and breakfasts like a gourmet chef which we happened to have with us. The views from the lanai are even more breathtaking than the photos depict. The unit was very well maintained and was in a great location in the complex. We enjoyed the upper pool and the grill right outside the unit. There was plenty of room in the condo for each of us to spread out and not be on top of each other. The beaches just across the street were very nice for watching sunsets. The beach at Wailea was a more expansive and also had some great shopping. Our first morning in Maui we took the sunrise bike ride down from Haleakala. We were picked up in front of the condo at 3am but we were still on CST so it didn't seem so early. The sunrise was beautiful and the views on the way down were unbelievable. The ride ended in the town of Paia and we enjoyed it so much that we went back to explore after we checked out of the condo on our last day before our flight left. We enjoyed lunch at Fish Market and gelato across the street at Ono Gelato Company. I am looking forward to returning to Maui and making Maui Kamaole unit J218 my home away from home again.

  My husband, myself, my adult daughter (college graduation gift) recently ended a lovely stay in your Maui Condo. It was perfect. The condo was clean, spacious, fully stocked with everything we needed, and very quiet (just the birds singing). Beds are always a challenge when we travel but we found that the beds were both comfortable (for us, upstairs bed was just slightly too firm for our old achy bones; could have used a foam pad but otherwise great support). The view from the main lanai was lovely, we had coffee and breakfast every morning and spent many evenings out there as well. Our daughters friend joined us for half our stay, and my brother in-law, who resides on the Big Island, visited for 2 nights also. There was plenty of room for all. We walked quite a bit, snorkeled in the mornings (with Turtles right down at Kam3 beach; awesome), discovered some new beaches we hadn't been to before. We also enjoyed the natural setting of the upper pool & hot tub, which is right across the parking lot from the unit; great place for some quiet reading. I would come here again if I have the opportunity, and highly recommend to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable and quiet place to feel right at home.

  My wife and I stayed in this unit for 29 beautiful days. As others have stated, J218 is well appointed and spacious. It is centrally located to both pools and an easy walk to the beach (although back up the hill can be a little trying). This is our fourth winter in Maui in the last seven years. Each time, we stayed in a different complex in Kihei. Maui Kamaole is now our favorite. The units are newer, better maintained, and quieter than the other complexes. David’s unit has a nice view and all the standard furnishings plus wireless wifi that many of the other units didn’t have. The one additional item that I would like to see is a second TV in one of the bedrooms. We will definitely return to Maui Kamaole in the future and hopefully J218 will be available when we do.

  A beautiful condo, gorgeous property, perfect location and gracious host! We were a party of six and stayed for two full weeks. The condo was immaculate and provided great "extras" (boogie boards/beach umbrellas/chairs and a much used cooler!). Even though we were a larger party, we had more than enough room - and the patio(s) were wonderful! The views are much better than the pictures show! This location is perfect for any exploring on the Island you would like to do - plus it is the most sunny =) The beach is within very easy walking distance, yet the grounds are nearly noiseless (NO street noise). Only birds singing and the breeze stirring! It is very near a picturesque (and quiet) pool with very nice/clean bbq's (we used them almost daily!) We would highly recommend this unit to anyone, and when we come back to Maui (this was our 3rd trip) this condo will be our first choice hands down.

  This property is perfect in every way the veiw from the condo is even better in person than in the pictures. You are within a very short walk to the beauitful beach. David was a pleasure to work with as well as the staff at Maui Kamole. Happy Vacation.

  This was our second stay at the Maui Kamaole and was again a great location! David's unit was in a nice quiet section (J Building) with a beautiful view off the lanai of the ocean, complete with songbirds everyday. The lovely grounds and fragrant blossoms are one of my favorite parts of the property. The pool upper natural pool is very closeby and relaxing. After our daily 3 mile morning walks along the Kamaole Beaches, we came back to a well equipped unit that had everything for a comfortable stay. At the time the only missing component was wireless internet (it did have wired internet), but after contacting the management company they did come by the next day with a wireless router that we needed for our ipad. The only missing element we felt was it would have been great to get wifi by the pool as that is where we spent much of our time.
